Anything with Keira Knightly.

theluckiest · 05/02/2018 21:58

'Is it still raining - I hadn't noticed.'

Granted, Judi Dench probably couldn't have pulled off such a crappy line but Andie McDowell really is abysmal

fussychica · 07/02/2018 09:50

Nicolas Cage in Capt. Corelli has got to be up there.
Loved the book so yes it did ruin the film for me

beansonbread · 07/02/2018 18:14

Not from a film but just watched the first episode of Britannia and most of the actors in that could take the worst acting award. Absolutely dreadful!

TheQueenOfWands · 07/02/2018 18:17

Anything with Judi Dench standing bolt upright and reciting her lines like a robot.

It's cringey.

I'll happily watch poorly acted shite if it's entertaining but she takes it a step to far. ^Try, Judi. You might find you enjoy playing a different character.

MustBeThursday · 07/02/2018 18:21

Nicolas Cage in anything. I've never seen him act well!

fruityb · 07/02/2018 18:22

Kate Beckinsale in Much Ado is atrocious.

Keira Knightley in anything.

Mark wahlberg in The Happening

saladdays66 · 07/02/2018 18:24

'Is it still raining - I hadn't noticed.'

Yup, Andie McDowel is right up there.

Also Nic Cage in anything, Harrison Ford in anything, Keira Knightley in general - how they call themselves actors is honestly beyond me.

saladdays66 · 07/02/2018 18:24

Oh and yes to Adam Sandler - cringe.

ShatnersBassoon · 07/02/2018 18:27

Keanu Reeves in Bram Stoker's Dracula. Just horrible.

Atalune · 07/02/2018 18:28

Keira Knightley. She can’t act but she is pretty.

Natalie Portman. Always the same in every film. No depth.

On the other hand Jessica Chastian is amazing and I could watch her all day long.

JuniLoolaPalooza · 07/02/2018 18:28

Ed Westwick in Chalet Girl. He's like an actual plank of wood and has zero chemistry with Felicity Jones. I've never watched Gossip Girl but I have no idea how he's considered a heartthrob.

ShatnersBassoon · 07/02/2018 18:28

Nicolas Cage in The Wicker Man is SO bad.

dustarr73 · 07/02/2018 18:31

Adam Sandler just plays the same too.He now just plays the father gets.He is the worst actor

Bubblegumfan · 07/02/2018 18:34

Kristen Stewart in anything! The faces she pulls really wind me up!

Any Troma film but they are supposed to be like that and part of the fun.

But I have to say Harry Potter (runs and hides)

LuxuryMilk · 07/02/2018 18:36

Not saying he is a bad actor as such but Will Smith is Will Smith in every single film. So grumpy and miserable

Ca55andraMortmain · 07/02/2018 18:36

Daniel Radcliffe on all of the potter films. And yes, it ruined them.

Knittedfairies · 07/02/2018 18:37

I once read a review of a Keira Knightley film where the reviewer said her acting was so wooden he had re-named her Ikea Knightley...

SignoraStronza · 07/02/2018 18:37

Emma Watson as Hermione. I know she was only a child but I thought her acting was atrocious. Really ruined the film's for me and I've only bothered watching one or two.

ShatnersBassoon · 07/02/2018 18:38

The Weasley kids in Harry Potter. Surely they could have found some twins who passed GCSE drama.

Whisky2014 · 07/02/2018 18:39

Oh god Room is so bad

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 07/02/2018 18:39

Johnny Depp in From Hell. His supposedly 'British' accent was all over the place; cockney, RP, Irish, you name it. Even country Dorset at one point. Worse than Dick van Dyke in Mary Poppins, who was at least consistent.

boatrace30 · 07/02/2018 18:40

@fruityb - yes to mark wahlberg in the happening. So awful. Couldn't take the film seriously.
Tbh he's awful in anything I've seen him in.
