For me it's always the Twilight Saga. Then full on snot filled tissues when Edward's piece of music (Bella's Theme?) that he wrote for Bella.

I read the books before watching the films, and they too made me weep.

I know... I'm a sentimental nitwit.

I cry at almost everything.

West Side Story is my favourite film and I start crying about half way through because I know what happens.

The bit in Tangled when the soldier runs through to her mum and Dad and nods... god that’s started me off.

Just asked DH what the most ridiculous thing I cried in was, his vote is “The Tigger Movie”. Tigger goes to find his “family tree” and when he thinks he’s found it, there’s no one there. He says “But they said they would always be there for me”... I was bawling!

Gattaca gives me goosebumps: " i never left anything for the swim back"

midsomermurderess · 09/12/2017 18:56

The end of the Killing Fields. Yes, I know, it’s Imagine, I am being played like a puppet (?), but it gets me: ‘Sydney!’ ‘Dith Pran’! Weep.

aurorie11 · 09/12/2017 18:57

Most recently Paddington 2 full on sobs!

AccidentallyRunToWindsor · 09/12/2017 21:53

Currently watching The Impossible, I had forgotten what a horrific film it is.

BeetlebumShesAGun · 15/12/2017 22:46

I came on to say the same thing Accidentally I’ve never seen it before but I have been a wreck all the way through.

Mulch · 15/12/2017 22:48

Lilo and snitch. Family trying to stay together. Full on snot bubbles

ICantFindAFreeNickName2 · 15/12/2017 23:25

I cry at everything, even more since I had kids.
One that i don' t think has been mentioned is the opening scene in The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe where the children are at the station being evacuated to the country. It broke my heart to think what my Nan & Mum had gone through in the war.

lilywillywoo · 16/12/2017 10:41

Many, many films make me cry. Who Will Love My Children? is the ultimate sob fest, the bit where the wee epileptic boy is asking why nobody wants him, I'm crying thinking about that now. The beginning of Up; It's a Wonderful Life where the chemist is hitting him round the ear, the end of The Champ (I haven't actually even seen the whole film, came in at the end and was sobbing).
And many more. I cry at adverts so it doesn't take much

Bubbington · 16/12/2017 10:50

Dr zhivago, pretty much from start to finish but particularly the ice house scene when she leaves and he runs to the window and the scene near the end when he spots her from the bus ...

There was a black and white titanic film that I think is more affecting than the remake, can't remember the name

olliegarchy99 · 16/12/2017 11:01

Marley and me - gets me every time
bobbington - was it 'a night to remember' B&W film about the titanic?

mermaidsandunicorns · 16/12/2017 22:40

I watched it's a wonderful life for the first time the other week I sobbed like a baby

SheRaaarghPrincessOfPower · 16/12/2017 22:55

Requiem for a Dream.

Most of the way through Paddington 2... especially when he reads the book and gets arrested and the train bit... and the Paddington advert... and every Disney movie ever

youvegottobekidding · 23/12/2017 12:07

I watched The Impossible for the 2nd time the other day & it got me in tears again. Such a heart-rending film of horrific (as Accident said) events. A scene towards the end when two younger brothers shout their older brothers name....just....so emotional 😢😢😢
