What films do you wish you HADN'T seen?

I have to say, I wish I'd never watched The Shining (at a sleepover when I was 14). It scared the pants off me!

Happiness, 1998 American film. I chose one night based on Time magazine top 10 films of the year. Still haunted almost 20 years later. Amazed poor OH stayed married. I didn't choose again for a loooong time

Bambi traumatised me as a child, so much I won't let my daughter watch it! I saw Carrie when I was 13 and it scared the byjaysus out of me! Never again. Had high hopes for Drag Me to Hell but ended up laughing hysterically. Total rubbish!

Rubbishbin the shining is one of my favourite books :)

Lots of shit films that i feel like 'time wasted'

I located A Serbian Film on youtube to see what was so bad about it. Even though I fastforwarded through most of it, I dont think I am sleeping tonight.

Paranormal Activity. I've never been quite right ever since.

Vanilla Sky. The crapiest of crap movies and I've seen a lot of crap

Two more votes for Sausage Party and The Revenant. Both dreadful wastes of time and talent.

Magdalena Sisters. Dp and I stopped watching part way through as it was so horrible and bleak. I certainly couldn't watch it now I've had dcs.
War of the Worlds. I stopped watching that part way through too, with the bit where the aliens put all the people in the machine to grind up for fertiliser. Just grim.
And whoever said The Godfather, really long...

I have googled some of these. The Human Centipede and the Serbian Film. Wtf? I'll be giving those a miss too.

All parts of Wrong Turn.. I mean come on.. terrible movie. There should be a little bit of realism at least.

I'm quite relieved to see other people saying A Clockwork Orange , it seems to be widely regarded as a masterpiece but I found it really disturbing and wished I hadn't seen it.

I have no intention of ever watching Human Centipede or Serbian Film because they both sound horrific.

Creep. Wish I'd walked out on that- vile in every way

Creep was spooky and weird.

Human Centipede 2 was diabolical. That never should have been allowed.

Castaway, the biggest waste of time ever, boring far to long, felt bloody depressed by the time we left the cinema.

I got quite desensitised to psychological horrrors for a while as an ex watched loads. I can't stomach them at all now.

Dc1 told me about the human centipede. After a 'friend' had brought it to school. He said he felt sick at the dvd cover and the friend's description of the film. That was in year 7 😱

I googled it and it still disturbs me.

On a different note. I liked A Stir echoes and would watch it again. It apitomised how easily some twats can sweep things under the carpet.

Disneys dinosaur I saw at the cinema when it came out it was single handedly the most depressing thing I've ever seen and I still refuse to watch it again after what must be about 17 years.

Human Centipede isnt as bad as Human Centipede 2.

That film never ever should have been made.

I've just watched the riot club and think it will stay with me for a while. Not just the horrendous physical violence and misogyny but the theme of social injustice and underserved privilege.

I second Se7en and can add 8mm - extremely disturbing :( I really wish I could un-see these.

Ive seen 8mm. That was nothing compared to some others.

I actually had to switch off Human Centipede 2... it is unwatchable.
