A "real man" treats a woman like a princess!

If my husband "treated me like a princess" that would be the end of our marriage! I absolutely expect to be treated with respect, but not like some sort of fragile and needy person simply because I'm female!
Why do so many women feel the need to be "looked after" as if they are a child? To me, it screams subservience (but perhaps I am reading more into this than I should do?)

Women have more emotions and needs. A larger desire for communication, that's a biological fact. You obviously have some issues in my opinion regarding power imbalances which I can only assume stem from your childhood.
Some women like to be treated like princesses , that might be difficult for you understand but its a fact.

I don't think women have more emotions and needs. We're just socially conditioned that it's more acceptable for women to be more open about their emotions.

@EBearhug Absolutely this. To think that "women have more emotions and needs" than men is ridiculous. As you say, men (sadly) are just often conditioned to hide theirs.

Depends on your opinion of what “looked after” and “loved” means — this is different for each person. Doesn’t necessarily mean someone is being treated as a princess (just because they’re a female) either.
