It’s some of the shittest copy I’ve ever seen and as a piece of marketing it’s unlikely to get any results.

You’re understanding it wrong. Girl math is just basically justifying why they’re spending the money, not that they don’t understand maths. Bit like in the Simpsons when Marge says “it’ll be good for the economy”

And even though the meme might not intend to be about girls being bad at maths, any mention of maths and stupidity aimed at girls and women is easily misconstrued/misunderstood as you can see. Women and girls don't need any extra negativity around maths, for goodness sake.

Conversely a lot of people struggle to accept that adding a pluralising “s” with no apostrophe straight after a word ending in a vowel is correct because it looks a bit weird to them and in their head would make them say “tie-poss”.

Because it’s for girls to feel like part of a community together, a trend for young women. An online community. Just because you don’t like it personally, because you do not understand it, doesn’t mean others can’t enjoy it. You should stop acting so sanctimonious over things you clearly don’t understand.
