I just feel anger. But I know she wants me to be calm.

I feel anger.

I am so sorry OP. I don't know how you are going through it all. I would be angry too. It is atomic level shite.

QueenArnica · 12/07/2022 06:29

I’m so sickened to read this and so sorry this has happened. It’s heartbreaking and your anger is totally justified. I can’t begin to imagine what your dd is going thorough but she has you by her side and I and sending you both so much love and strength.

Lucky you not being able to imagine it. It’s far from uncommon for “friends” to react in this way.

TreeOfPain · 12/07/2022 06:36

@Bianca7777777 are you questioning the rape of my child that I shouted out to the Feminism board. I posted it to get some fucking love and understanding from women. Which I did.

And because I don't necessarily hate the 15-year old that did this to her BECAUSE he is also a fucking victim of the world in which we live, I've made it up???

This, THIS is why I'm angry, this is why I know things won't change.

Bonkers.

Nothings ever going to change is it?

Thank you @GCAcademic.

Thank you.

I am sobbing in rage right now.

HerRoyalHappiness · 12/07/2022 06:44

I'm so so sorry.

Please tell your DD she's not alone. There are so many of us out there. Me being one of them. I was 11. My rapist 14.

I hate that things haven't progressed and this shit still happens. I hate that it's always the girl.who will shoulder the burden of blame
"She was asking for it" "she's a slag" etc etc.
It's really fucking infuriating so I feel your anger. Truly I do.

BlackSwan · 12/07/2022 06:46

I'm so sorry. Your rage is heart-breaking. It should never have happened. Being her mum standing with her & advocating for her is so important.
It should be a given of course, but sadly it's not always the case - and not being believed or supported is especially damaging.

TreeOfPain · 12/07/2022 06:46

@Bianca7777777

Why do you want to know details?

He wouldn't let her go for two hours and repeatedly forced his penis into her mouth, he pushed her onto her knees and raped her. He ejaculated in her mouth against her will.

Is that enough?

Does that pass your criteria for rape?

Because it does for everyone else.

I'm so sorry OP.

But more than that, I will fight, I will fight against the shitty patriarchal society that has allowed this to happen.

I hope the boy is permanently excluded from that school and all others (unless single sex) as he is a risk to all girls.

Girls can be quite vicious to each other. Especially when a boy is involved.

Especially if he’s a popular boy that a lot of girls crush on.

A “weirdo” or unpopular boy wouldn’t have the same response. They would close ranks around the girl affected.

A popular boy does. It’s her fault. He couldn’t possibly be like that. You’re just mad he has a crush on me. Shit like that

@Bianca7777777 Why would she go into a blow by blow account of her child's rape?! That's just disgusting. And even more disgusting your reaction to it. You're as bad as the friends in this scenario, blaming the girl.

Whatwouldscullydo · 12/07/2022 06:50

Oh op I am so sorry...rant and vent away! You don't need to explain or apologise for anything.

Your poor dd. 💐

Why should she?

why do you want all the sordid details?

why is just knowing that a 13 year old child was raped, not enough?

I remember at school, early 90s, a 15 year old girl got v drunk at a party and was effectively gang raped by 5 lads.
Only no one called it gang rape, just said she was a slag and the whole year group l ostracised the poor girl who became a pariah whilst the lads got a pat on the back.

Twas ever thus....

Sorry for what had happened to your daughter OP

TreeOfPain · 12/07/2022 06:51

@Soubriquet, he is a 'popular' boy.

He already has another girlfriend.

She's 12...

OP posts:
blahblahblahspoons · 12/07/2022 06:52

@Bianca7777777 You are a rape apologist.

The OP is here for support - do you demand people provide evidence of their trauma before you support them in real life?

I'd definitely respond ON HERE like OP. She can't talk about specifics obviously but sounds like she's done everything she can do with the authorities and there's a problem with a society where this happens. Clearly.

Soubriquet · 12/07/2022 06:55

TreeOfPain · 12/07/2022 06:51

Explains the reactions of the girls.

Im not excusing it at all btw. I think what has happened is horrific and her friends are no better, but it seems to be a “normal” reaction among teens. A popular boy could never do something like this in their eyes. All the girls want him so it must have been consensual.

This seems to be the script most of the time

HerRoyalHappiness · 12/07/2022 06:55

A 15 year old with a 12 year old girlfriend?! Jesus fucking christ. It's gross.
Of course he'd be a popular boy. They get away with absolutely everything. And I say that as a mother to two boys. (And a girl) luckily my 13 year old DS is far too vocal about human rights to ever be considered popular. His friendship group is all the book worms and his best friend a girl. (DS2 is only 6)

Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

If this is why the friends reacted the way they did then I'd be terrified fir them too tbh. Because they too should know that they should be able to say no and change their minds at any point during any encounter and have the person they are with stop dead.

StridTheKiller · 12/07/2022 06:56

@Bianca7777777 I am appalled at you telling OP how she should react to her own daughter's rape. Just appalled.

You rage OP. Let yourself be overpowered by anger. It needs to be let out.

Jennybeans401 · 12/07/2022 06:58

I'm so sorry OP

I think these problems are worse now than ever, mobile phones give kids access to porn and this is often violent. I'm not saying this is the reason for all sexual violence.

CallOnMe · 12/07/2022 06:59

This is vile!

Did this happened at school?

Are the police taking it seriously?

I would be going to the papers and explaining exactly what happened (names removed) and naming and shaming the school too as there’s no way they should even be in the same toilet and there are massive safeguarding issues.
I assumed he followed her in to the toilet?

If it’s happened to your DD I can almost guarantee it’s happened to other students too!

Jennybeans401 · 12/07/2022 06:59

@HerRoyalHappiness your son sounds lovely, i wish we could have more boys like this.
