Am is missing something here? How are men's mental health issues benefitted by anyone taking off their clothes? The article has attracted some nasty comments about her body and it seems like this is a set back for women somehow when women objectify themselves for the benefit of men. The charity is encouraging men to do the same

I appreciate the sentiment but I find men a lot more attractive when clothed.

Every single time female nudity is involved for any cause, I feel exactly as you do OP. So I agree, baring yourself doesn’t help men’s mental health....unless she’s taking tips like a stripper and donating them to a charity. That would make more sense to me.

I feel the same way about women’s nudity for women’s causes too though. I really dislike Slut Walk for example because it’s just become an event that men suddenly become feminist allies so they can march in solidarity (when really they just want to wander around getting an eyeful...and perhaps a cuddle from a half naked women by pretending to support feminism.).

Getting naked for any cause does more harm than good to feminism in my opinion.

UJ has always been a bit "Look at me.
! I'm Swedish and we're soooo relaxed about nudity". But she has got us talking about it, I suppose.

Sorry to say that I suspect Ulrika Jonsonn getting naked is as much to raise awareness of Ulrika Jonsonn as it is to raise awareness of MH.

In exactly the same way that writing on FB about your bra or where you keep your handbag (or something else) raises awareness of breast cancer. i.e it doesn't.

I also think Ulrika is vulnerable based on her past relationship experience. Its sad if she feels her primary value is in her body so that's what she can use tp raise awareness.
But also, do you know what, I think she looks fantastic and it's nice to see an older woman do this kind of shot. So often we are invisible

She’s desperate for attention as it’s been a while since she was in the public eye..it’s clearly a PR stunt. Her being naked has sod all to do with anyone’s mental health and everything to do with her self image.
Sad that her only currency is her naked body.

I remember one of the Kardashian's participating in 'I'd rather go naked than wear fur' for PETA. Seen shortly after wearing...well no prizes for guessing what.
