Honestly it's hard looking after her sometimes. She gets angry at little things, often and needs me to cuddle her to make it go away. It's just wearing. It's just so tiring

Children can be very hard. You say she gets angry a lot? Perhaps she may need some extra support. Have you spoken to her school, maybe they can offer some help? She wants cuddles because she loves you OP. You really do seem like a lovely mum.

She has been having some sessions at school last term but I don't believe that brought up anything that my child was worrying about in the end.
I don't want her to feel like I do with my mum. I want her to feel loved for who she is

I think she does feel loved by you OP. That you don't have to worry about. I am so hungry, I am tempted to go make a cheese and tomato toastie. Is it too late ?

I had one earlier! Ate it with a whole pack of biscuits though hot chocolate always does make you feel better though. Might help you to try and get some rest

No cats are the best great judges of character. Your dd is still too young to fully understand so it's not personal. Your mum well, would you go no or low contact?
I hope you manage to get some sleep. Nights are the worst.

Another one with a snuggly cat here. Op I think the fact that you are awake, worrying about your daughter, is an indication that you are not like your mother. You are only human, parenting is hard going at times, but what shines through is how much you care.

Also here... usually cuddle my cats in bed too, but had shoulder op today & sling has velcro dangly bits which is like cat- party for them, so maybe not tonight
