Hi everyone, it seems we have reached 1000 posts on our original thread which is amazing, just shows how much support we have been able to give each other.

I thought we would benefit from part two!

@Lib3rtine tightenings are good! Sure it won’t be long, oh I remember waiting for mine to be born, I kept sneaking into their room to look at all the gorgeous tiny clothes! So exciting!

@tmh88 I’m so sorry you are feeling so upset, it must be absolutely awful. We are all thinking of you on here. You are being so strong!

Someone needs to stop me today, I cannot stop checking my boobs...it’s ridiculous, every 5 bloody minutes, the lumpy bit that worries me is a lumpy ridge bit with a round flat bit that’s been there for at least a year (it’s probably closer to 2 years), hasn’t changed and that boob is generally lumpy anyway but because there isn’t an identical bit in the other one I keep going back to it 😥

OP posts:
tmh88 · 18/01/2021 19:06

I have a bigger lumpier bit under my right breast than my left it that helps it sort of feels like a ridge to where my under breast starts @MrsWhites xx

MrsWhites · 18/01/2021 19:47

@tmh88 thank you. I know they aren’t supposed to be exactly symmetrical so I try to remind myself of that. This bit is sort of next to my nipple in the outside of the breast which I know is an area that can be lumpy. Hoping I’m just having a bad day and I can leave it behind tomorrow!

OP posts:
Skyliner001 · 18/01/2021 19:54

@MrsWhites That bit on me is so lumpy, randomly more on the right!

Goolies · 18/01/2021 20:04

Sorry to hear your struggling @MrsWhites totally get how you’re feeling. This was me yesterday. Poked and poked and poked. Thought I’d feel a lumpy bit then would check the other breast then would go back to the left, then would wonder if I’m using fingertips too much and press around using the flats of my fingers. Honestly couldn’t stop and today I’m so sore.

Wish I could tell you how to stop. You’re not alone thought been there, done that. Hope the evening goes on to be a bit calmer for you

MrsWhites · 18/01/2021 20:16

Thank you @Skyliner001 and @Goolies. I think i’m just going to get an early night and try to not poke tomorrow!

Lib3rtine · 18/01/2021 20:31

@MrsWhites that is me, I keep going in the room and looking at the clothes!! So cute!!
Sorry you’re struggling, hopefully a good nights sleep will make you feel better. My right breast is do much lumpier than my left and I often have a wobble about it when I’m not mentally strong. I also have a bit near my right nipple there isn’t on my left, always been there but again when I’m feeling low, I fixate on it and keep prodding x

Skyliner001 · 18/01/2021 20:53

Oh no! I was doing so well, I had my period, and it seemed to stop yesterday, or over last night.

And I have just been to the bathroom and have some bright red blood, this has happened before, where it has almost completely stopped and then come back for a little Encore for a day or two. But for some reason it's really worrying me…👀😖😑😔

😭🥺

Skyliner001 · 18/01/2021 20:53

Sorry for TMI!

tmh88 · 18/01/2021 21:13

@Skyliner001 I often worry about periods! I was due on 2/3 days ago and it’s not come! I’m getting breast/stomach/underarm pain but nothings coming! I do sometimes get periods like you describe and I think I have done probably for around 7 years so I think that’s my normal that they are always abnormal if that makes sense, but I’m definitely late this month and hoping I come on tonight Hmm

dillydallydollydaydream7 · 18/01/2021 22:03

Sorry you're having a struggle @MrsWhites - I hope a good night sleep does you the world of good and you feel more positive tomorrow

@Skyliner001 I have ones like that too - I always think that they've finished but then when I go to the toilet it appears again

Does anyone ever convince themselves that something feels 'different'? So for example, I'm laid in bed thinking that my left breast feels different to my right and that why I need to worry

Lib3rtine · 18/01/2021 22:33

@dillydallydollydaydream7 I do that all the time! Without even touching it I can think it feels heavier or something which leads me to start prodding!

donerwillbehere · 19/01/2021 06:55

#Dillydallydollydaydreamer7 thank you for the welcome .
Within my school optional to wear face masks 😷. I do 😊. My concern is children are only offered 2 tests , after that nothing or unless there is a positive Covid. children in that bubble will be tested daily just in case of infection ) this is to stop children being isolated ). The cyst I am chasing as it is filling which I have difficulty swelling , coughing and breathing . Fingers crossed it will be soon .

MrsWhites · 19/01/2021 09:18

Thank you everyone, woke up this morning so sore from all my poking yesterday, feels very bruised so I’ve had one little feel this morning and I’m going to have to try to leave it alone. It’s so frustrating because this is something that has been there for ages but I keep coming back to it. I think it’s because i can feel an outline whereas on other lumpy bits they sort of blend into each other a bit more but it has never changed over the last year or so, it should be something I just accept as normal to me but for some reason my mind just can’t accept that.

@dillydallydollydaydream7 I definitely do that, thinking something feels different, that’s actually what started this off yesterday. In bed yesterday morning I decided the left breast felt different to the right one.

@Skyliner001 that happened to me a couple of months ago. Period had pretty much finished and then darker, heavier flow started again randomly for a couple of days. My periods have also moved closer together in the last year or so, apparently it’s my age!

OP posts:
tmh88 · 19/01/2021 09:48

@MrsWhites I’m the exact same with my neck! Even though I know i found them in September they would of changed or grown by now and I’ve had scans and bloods but something in my mind doesn’t let me drop it!

Had a bath last night with no prodding at myself! Didn’t actually enjoy it though as it was a battle of wills not to do it Blush the difficult thing with my neck as well is it’s easy access so I don’t have to take my top of anything of to check it’s just out and available Blush hoping for a better few days now

Skyliner001 · 19/01/2021 10:24

Ladies, feeling so much love for you all today! I completely get everything that you are saying And it's so helpful to know we are not alone.

I am exactly the same on the breast lumps, a lot of my lumpy tissue does blend, but there are ridges, and edges, lines, ropey bits... And they really bug me. At the moment I'm not 'on' them, but no doubt I will go back to them.

Also completely sympathise about going back to things which have been there for ages. I've moved on from my neck lymph-node now for a bit, but that have been there for more than 12 years, and I just decided to randomly be upset about it.

Also completely empathise about the battle of wills in the bath or shower. I've had some really good baths recently where I have not poked at all, and just read my book, and not had the urge But up until last week I was beginning to wonder if I would ever have a good bath again….

Using a sponge for the soap helps… But I completely get it, we can do it but it is a massive battle of wills.

Thanks for all the feedback on the period, I did quite a lot of googling and discovered that tissue, sorry TMI, can block the exit from the cervix… I think I've got that right and so that means you can have 12 or 24 hours or even longer of little or no flow, and then suddenly get a little rush which then finishes to nothing.

I think that is possibly what happened, and again it's something that's happened before. But why won't her brains let us understand that!

Skyliner001 · 19/01/2021 10:26

@MrsWhites You can do this! Nothing will change if you don't poke for one day, you are not going to miss anything, the only thing that you will miss by poking a lot today, will be the nicer things. I know you can do it!

@tmh88 you didn't poke! So even though you might not have properly relax, that is still a massive step in the right direction. That is the hardest bit! I bet if you had a bath tonight you might be able to relax a little bit more.

Skyliner001 · 19/01/2021 10:27

@dillydallydollydaydream7 Yes to the feeling different thing, or random pain, or twinges. Probably things that are there for absolutely everybody, but for us with our anxiety we just noticed him a lot more.

MrsWhites · 19/01/2021 10:36

@Skyliner001 that definitely sounds possible with your period, or it could just be a little bit that hung on too long and has finally come away. Easy for me to say because I was really stressed when it happened to me!

Thank you for the support, I’ve had another feel but I’m not doing it anymore today. Even though I can feel the bit that worries me, it isn’t raised above the other lumpy bits in that area and it isn’t a different texture. It’s just that it’s not moveable whereas the other parts probably are a bit, I think that’s why I focus on that bit.

@tmh88 I agree that even if you didn’t enjoy it, you still stayed in even though you weren’t 100% comfortable, that’s great progress. I haven’t had a bath in ages, always super quick showers and I can’t even look down some of the time plus I use a sponge so I don’t start feeling for things!

OP posts:
tmh88 · 19/01/2021 11:31

Thanks everyone! I need to invest in a sponge Grin determined to not let my lymph nodes worry me today! Hope I can stay on track for a while!

MrsWhites · 19/01/2021 12:11

@tmh88 good luck, you can definitely do it!

Does anyone else have lumpy bits that don’t feel moveable really? I don’t have particularly big breasts and when I lie down and stretch my arm up the lumpy bit seems to just be a flat round bit against my chest if that makes sense so doesn’t really move from side to side like some of the other bits do but they feel more in the tissue rather than against the chest if that makes sense?

OP posts:
Skyliner001 · 19/01/2021 12:30

Yes yes yes! I have loads of lumpy immovable bits. Some flat bits, some bead like lumpy bits. Some sort of strips of lumpy bits. Like ridges. Not the same either side. Some bits are. I'm also not massive breasted. And am quite slim. The doctor said I can possibly feel more due to less fat.

tmh88 · 19/01/2021 12:47

@Skyliner001 I’m the same and can feel lumps that are cysts etc all over my breasts! Some move, some are hard and fixed etc! The lymph node ones in my neck move that much especially the one on my left hand side I feel like I could push it over my shoulder Blush

MrsWhites · 19/01/2021 13:46

@Skyliner001 and @tmh88 thank you so much, you don’t know how reassuring that is. Skyliner your description is literally my breasts they don’t have much fat so perhaps that’s why I can feel more. I have some stripes, some bits that feel like mounds of firmer tissue, some flat round blob bits (like the one that bothers me), they feel a bit like a firm blister maybe and some small bead bits too...I thought it was just me!

You don’t know how grateful I am to you ladies on here, you keep me sane!

OP posts:
tmh88 · 19/01/2021 14:09

@MrsWhites I’ve come to the conclusion I think I’m quite lumpy everywhere! I even have little bead type lumps in my stomach sort of like what a bean bag feels like Blush
