Hi everyone, it seems we have reached 1000 posts on our original thread which is amazing, just shows how much support we have been able to give each other.

I thought we would benefit from part two!

@Lib3rtine how are you and bump? You must be feeling impatient now because I am waiting for your update he/she is here!

@MrsWhites I think they can take quite a while to go down so please be reassured that it’s just doing it’s job. I know it’s easier said than done.
We are both ok, just been to see consultant and he wants one last scan tomorrow so I’m really hoping all ok so I’m not induced as that scares me!!

@tmh88 we are good thank you! I am impatient, I'm 39 weeks tomorrow and so eager to meet baby now! I have another scan in the morning so I'm hoping that I'll get to meet baby in person not long after that!!

My DD had a raised lymph node in her cheek/jaw. Had an ultrasound and it is normal. 4 years later its still as big as anything, it has never gone down, still completely normal.

I am still worrying over my sinus pressure. I told myself I would wait a week and take gaviscon advance as it might be related to reflux but I am panicking today. Also have a mild headache all the time and I don't tend to get headaches.

Could also be caused by grinding my teeth. My jaw does feel tense.

Not sure whether to call the doctor or wait a week as I originally intended...

He's just going to tell me it's a virus so not sure there is any point calling.

@Catsneezies It's whether it would help you to call, to hear them say that? It really does sound like it's nothing serious, but I can imagine how annoying it is, and also how triggering.

I don't even know what I'm worried about. I really don't think its sinus cancer or a brain tumour. I think it is just the uncertainty of not knowing what is causing it and why it has been going on so long.

@Catsneezies I get bad sinus pressure in the winter! Cold air makes it really hurt.

@Lib3rtine I bet! I remember getting to 39 weeks and what helped me was thinking at the most now it’s 3 weeks

Had a bit of a proddy sort of day so far, can anyone give me a push, so that I go and do the blitz of the house that I was planning! Any words of wisdom greatly appreciated!

@tmh88 how long does it last for you? Do you know what causes it?

@Skyliner001 would it help to tell yourself that you're not allow to prod any more today, you can have one prod each day at 10am or whatever and that's it for the rest of the day. That way you can still be monitoring but hopefully without causing the pain/feeling or making it worse!

Or find a reward for every specific length for time that you don't prod? A morning without prodding gets a treat at lunchtime and an afternoon without prodding get a treat in the evening?

@Skyliner001 put some music one, write yourself a list of house jobs to do and tick them off as you go. That’s usually how I get my jobs done. Saying that I’m sitting on the sofa with a hot chocolate! Trying to find the will to finish off the last of today’s home schooling.

Went out for a walk and since I’ve come back I’ve had a terrible sinus headache so I think my cold is really getting going now.

@Catsneezies thanks for telling me about your DD’s lymph node, that’s reassuring. It sounds to me like you have a sinus infection, I quite often get sinus pressure (similar to what I have today) and it sounds very similar. It probably is viral, it’s the season for lots of coughs and cold type infections.

@Lib3rtine so exciting that you are 39 weeks now! I hope baby comes soon, both of mine were 39 week baby’s so fingers crossed for you. One of my family had an induction and baby was here within a few hours so they aren’t always bad but I hope your scan and appointment goes well tomorrow! Worrying time to give birth at the moment, I hope you’ll be allowed your partner with you x

Afternoon all. I've been very proddy the last few days. I think as I get nearer to the gallbladder scan date. I'm pinning my hopes on it being that as you all know because part of me continues to Google and think nah, it's obviously bowel cancer which has spread to my liver and bones.

@Catsneezies usually lasts the entire of winter had it since about November this time! Then I get it on and off in summer with allergies x

@Skyliner001 think I said this on previous thread but dp joked I needed one of them shock collars and every time he caught me going for a lump he would press it maybe invest in one of them! Only joking obviously I always find cleaning helps my mind long term as it’s I think clearer with a clearer house if that helps!

I am getting quite a lot of pain under my left eye now though. Is it possible to have sinusitis without a blocked/snotty nose? I get some mucus coming down the back of my throat but my nose is fine.

I called the GP and have booked a telephone appointment for tomorrow afternoon.

I always feel better mentally with a clean and tidy house. I feel so irritable when it is untidy! Just wished DH and DC felt the same way!

Hi everyone! How is everyone?

Busy couple of days for us. Trying to not prod, but now worrying about the funny sore nipple. However! So the cream the doctor gave me is for any sort of bacteria infection, and she said apply twice daily for 5 days when I had the bleeding but cause the bleeding went away I just didn't apply the cream... so I'm now on day 2 of applying the cream properly and will continue until Friday to see how it goes. The thing is when I wake up in the early hours it's not bothering me, but as soon as I think about it, it sore nearly all day so I don't know how much is real and how much is psychological

There's an app called the worry app (how original!) that might be useful for some of us - my counsellor at Mind told me about it. Basically from what I remember you type in your worries and set your designated worry time (so say ten minutes at 5pm) and you're allowed to worry/feel as much as you like for that time, then the app 'locks' the worries away. It didn't work for me - I found myself worrying about when it was time to worry

@MrsWhites thank you! I really hope baby comes soon, I’m so excited now!! I think my husband is allowed to be there once I’m in active labour and can stay for an hour or two after the birth then has to go x

@tmh88 realllly hope it’s not another 3 weeks!! I am spending all my spare time on my birthing ball!!

If it helps I was induced and from being induced to giving birth it was a matter of hours.. I actually didn’t know I was having contractions at first and I’m a wuss so if I can do it anyone can!

Morning all, I had pericoronitis a couple of years ago and I think I’ve got it again now! Woken up and the side of my face throbs and gum is swollen! Haven’t seen my dentist since last feb as the aren’t doing check ups, so hoping they will give me an appointment today

@tmh88 aww hope so! That’s good to know as I’ve been worrying about it!
Sorry you’ve woke up in pain, hopefully you can get a dentist appt. x
