DS missing from psychiatric ward

Young adult son is under a MH section and has gone missing from his ward. Police are involved. He was allowed some unsupervised time yesterday morning but didn't return. We weren't informed until very late in the evening. He's on aripiprazole though won't have taken it since yesterday.

Police will be using social media in an attempt to locate him.

Worried stiff. And trying to hold down two jobs and care for other DCs. DS has a long history of disturbed behaviour and suicide attempts. I can barely keep things together.

Any suggestions or encouragement would be gratefully received.

Me too. My DD is not in exactly the same situation but stops contact periodically and it's very frightening. I'm thinking about you OP x

Sending you a Brew.

Thinking of you OP.
Any news? Xx

Hi Maisie just checking to see bow you are. You have been on my mind. I'm hoping there is some news. Whatever you do try to eat and if your exhausted take a sleeping pill so that you get a little rest.

It's truly awful when your child disappears. My DD went missing for a few days again but I got word that she was crashing out elsewhere.

I'm thinking about you a lot and hope that MNs support is helping you to feel a little less alone xxx

Thinking of you OP.
I hope he was found shortly after your last post, he's safe and you're not still worrying about where he is. I hope you're ok.
Thanks
