I've developed a horrendous problem since having children..... there's hair growing on my nipples!

Lots of it....and it's not fine.

I feel like a freak, feel like I can never let a man near me ever.... want to crawl under a rock, fall asleep and wake up with the issue gone.

I'm gutted..... I'm not normal. It's got to be the biggest turn-off for a man.

What can I do? Anyone else out there or am I the only freak on Mumsnet? does electrolysis work? I'd remortgage my house to resolve this.

I have hair on my nipples - always have had even before having DS. It is totally normal. I just pluck it with a tweezers.

but I spoke to a male friend (who obviously doesn't know)..... and I asked him what the biggest turn off would be....and guess what his answer was?

Budababe - Can you hide it??? I mean it's not just one or 2.

Sorry this is getting you down so much, i had a friend years ago with this problem - she was early 20's and no kids yet - she just plucked them when she did her eyebrows - have you tried just pulling them out? Don't be embarrassed - we all have odd things.

Did it work permanently??? How much does it cost? Too scared to even look it up on the internet. It's definitly been since kids. but no other hormonal changes.

I have been plucking.... but I sit in tears doing it, disgusted at myself. It actually makes me feel physically sick.

What? Loads of people have hairy nipples! Just pluck them if it bothers you, or have them removed.

I am sorry you feel so upset about this but it really is perfectly normal. Women have hairs in all sorts of places that they "shouldn't" do. It's fine to remove them if they bother you, or just leave them there, whatever suits you.

I went on holiday with a friend once and she sat topless on the beach plucking the hairs out with between her thumb and finger

My friend has this problem not loads but a few, your not the only person so please do not let this ruin your life, if you don't want to pluck them out then get them removed i am sure they have seen it many many times before.

I don't have hairy nips, but you should see how far my bikini line spread since I had children I swear one of these days I'll wake up with pubes growing round my knees!!

Oh yes - hairy toes here too!

(Maybe I am a hairy trucker!)

And pubes down to knees.

And hairs on back of thighs.

LOL! Mine has started creeping upwards! Strangely enough that doesn't bother me.

lol Ruby.... my x didn't notice as I didn't let him near me much after kids..... always had my bra on in bed. Still do on the off chance some hunk crawls into my bed during the night.
