Hi everyone this is part 2 as the original thread is full up! But as the title says this thread is support for all that are struggling and could do with a handhold and a chit chat so come and say hello😊.

Menalight I've also had it for years. I do find it eventually goes away when I slow down my breathing. Sometimes I even massage my rib. But stress will eventually bring it back.

Menalight · 05/10/2018 18:07

Yes, yes, the rib massaging! i do it all the time. It used to go away once i've dealt with whatever caused the anxiety, but now it lingers on and on.

Iblinkedandiamold · 05/10/2018 18:25

@vinkinglady hello and welcome. My DS is still ignoring me. I'm doing okay, until I sleep that is.
Doing my 3rd park run tomorrow morning. It helps.
Checked out the damage to my car today as well. It's not too bad thank God.

BippityBoppity87 · 05/10/2018 20:14

Hi vikingwoman Smile

I get a similar pain under my rib on the right side. It's more of a sharp pain though. I've had it for years. When I went to the GP last year, they didn't seem that bothered and said it's probably just a pulled muscle not helpful

On another note, I went through the effort of making pizza from scratch for my DC. Did he eat it? Of course not. Fish fingers and peas it is then 🙄

Iblinkedandiamold · 05/10/2018 20:23

Bippity that's so typical after all the effort. Myself and DS used to love making pizzas together.

BippityBoppity87 · 05/10/2018 20:44

To be fair, he's only 2 and half, but he usually loves pizza. I'm guessing only the pepperoni kind. I had the audacity to put peppers and mushroom on it.

He's actually been quite good with his eating today though. He's had about 4 portions of fruit and veg. I always try and aim for 5, and when he doesn't, I don't know, I seem to feel a bit anxious about it.

BippityBoppity87 · 05/10/2018 20:46

Scrap that. He's had 5. Forgot he had the peas! Ok, I feel less anxious about that. I know it sounds ridiculous and I'm probably being a bit OTT.

Stilllivinginazoo · 06/10/2018 08:26

bippity since I had my final 3(have an older one as well) I got what I can only describe as obsessive about child nutrition.they do eat biscuits etc but only if the goodness has been eaten first.aim at least 5a day, rainbow of colours etc.to me it's a kinda reflection of my love for them that I feed them well and hopefully am protecting them from illnesses as get older?ironically at mo illest kids I knowdd2 has had awful issues her ears and throat a few years, finally diagnosed as silent reflux,D's has anxiety issues and youngest(lil zoo) has gut problemsplus food allergies....

Pouring with rain I promised lil zoo could trial a dance class today,so we are off out shortly.hope everyone has a good day!

Fairydust26 · 06/10/2018 10:01

Morning ladies hope you all have a smashing day! This thread hasn’t got that much longer till it’s full up would you like me to make a 3rd one when the time comes? It’s been super comforting to me and others so it would be great if the support could continue😊.

Yes please fairy. I love this thread.

vikingwoman · 06/10/2018 15:26

Good morning all and yes please Fairy

BippityBoppity87 · 06/10/2018 17:30

Yes that would be great Smile

I know Stilllivinginazoo I'm the same. I just want him to have a healthy balanced diet, and enjoy a whole range of foods.

I don't want him to be like me who hates onions and peppers. Honestly, I wish I didn't hate onions as it's such a pain in the arse. It's in everything! So most times I just end cooking from scratch so I know exactly what's in it.

Stilllivinginazoo · 06/10/2018 17:43

Count me in for another thread please fairy
Bippity❤️

Had a lovely weekend with my sister. My parents have gone away and my sister doesn't like staying in the house alone. (We used to think the place was haunted as kids. I don't like staying there alone myself.) Feeling good today.
Also got a PB in the parkrun yesterday. 36.05 minutes...Go me. Smile

vikingwoman · 07/10/2018 20:12

Yay blink! Smile

Wingingit1985 · 07/10/2018 20:26

Iblinked so glad to hear you've had a good day and well done on the PB! 🏅

I'm 3 days overdue now with baby #3, exhausted uncomfortable and feeling a bit sorry for myself. I'm still going though and took the kids swimming today. Anything for a distraction ! Strangely one thing I don't get anxiety over is labour/childbirth! Odd!

Wingingit Oh gosh, I remember when I was almost 2 weeks over due with my dc. Funnily enough he decided to make an appearance on the day of my induction Hmm although he still wasn't born until 2 days later!

Hi Hurricane Smile

Stilllivinginazoo · 08/10/2018 05:42

Welcome hurricane

BippityBoppity87 · 09/10/2018 14:44

I'm in so much pain Sad Hurt my knee again (on going problem) and it's swollen up and bruised on the side. I can barely put any weight on it. Stuck in bed as I can't move. Really don't want to go to a&e.

Iblinkedandiamold · 09/10/2018 14:53

Oh bippity, that sounds awful. Poor you. Flowers
I wouldn't be able to cope stuck in bed.

BippityBoppity87 · 09/10/2018 15:44

I don't know what to do. I've been to a&e before, just over a month ago and it turned out I had just sprained it. This time it feels worse, but I don't want to waste 4 hours in a&e again to find out it's only a sprain.

Plus I live at a top flat (no lift) so god knows how I'll manage to get down the stairs. I'm in agony.
