Anyone around for a hand hold, waiting to be assessed under MHA

Title says it all, waiting to see if I will be sectioned.

Tried to kill myself this morning and DH had to 'save' me.

Cut twice this week needing stitches.

Everything is a huge mess.

Hate self.

Yes, staying sectioned for now.

Hard to see anything positive.

I wish I would die in my sleep.

I used to think that every day. Failing again and again at suicide just added to the pain and I would wish and wish that I could go to sleep and not wake up. I do know some of what you must be experiencing right now.

I still think of suicide, think my brain is so used to it but I 100% do not feel like that anymore. You can get through it I promise. I can now cherish the good things in my life and look forward to stuff and even know who I am beyond just the identity of a patient. I don't hate anymore.

Please please hold on, it can change and life can be so much better.

Apparently my CPN wants me home so fingers crossed for Friday discharge.

Fingers crossed indeed that you can be at home and cared for by those who love you.

I hope you will feel positive about this - please keep talking here if it helps.

I too hope you get to go and be in the comfort of your own home with your husband and family and that things start to look brighter for you.

Had another bad day though. Smashed up a lounge and tried to kill myself

Sorry yesterday was so awful again cream, I can't imagine what you must be experiencing.

Does your community team offer intensive support on discharge? I had people come every day to take me out for coffee or to do my shopping etc. I didn't need help getting out but found the structure they gave to my day useful. And they were a helpful distraction.

Cream you are in my thoughts. Please allow yourself the time needed to heal. Reach out and accept the help offered.

I have had my leave stopped still and been told they think I will go on a Section 3 at the end of the week :(

They let me go home on leave tonight.

Section 3 is up to 6 months treatment order.

Hope you managed to enjoy your leave and relax a bit.

When do you find out about section 3? It seems they have gone from one extreme to another!

I've just seen an 'art therapy' magazine advertised and thought of you. It has lots of lovely things to colour. Would you like me to send it for you? If you pm me the hospital name I would love to do that.
