Anyone around for a hand hold, waiting to be assessed under MHA

Title says it all, waiting to see if I will be sectioned.

Tried to kill myself this morning and DH had to 'save' me.

Cut twice this week needing stitches.

Everything is a huge mess.

Hate self.

Waiting is shit when you feel suicidal now, I do understand how hard it must feel. But you are strong cream. You have survived to this point.

I hope you have a peaceful and calm evening and manage some good sleep.

Sorry you are feeling so low. Has anything triggered that for you today? You have had really shitty days before and fought through them, I know you can do the same again. Don't give up sweetheart, I really hope a different way of living is just round the corner.

My venlafaxine has been increased so they are hoping that will lift my mood.

Having some leave today.

Glad they are still trying to tweak your meds, hopefully this new dosage will lift things a little.

How did your leave go today? Did you go home or out somewhere? I always found leave hard as I couldn't settle anywhere knowing I had to go back to the ward.

Sorry the sadness is still weighing you down. It must seem relentless but there is always hope. You won't feel like this forever.

Still inpatient. I hope they discharge me soon.

Very suicidal and down these days. Hard to motivate myself. At least it is sunnier now.

I think of you every day and am so glad to know that you are still being cared for. You have so much to look forward to in life once you are well again. I hope the change of meds will start to make a difference very soon, and that you won't have to wait too long for the specialist treatment Flowers

Sorry your going through really bad patch.

The Venlafaxine your on, I'm on that also. I'm on 150mg been on it 2.5 years after an awful patch if anxiety which lead to depression.

What dose are you on now, it does take some people a while to get settled on it, it's very early days for you and you will worse before you feel better.
Are they given you any diazepam to help with the transition of the Venlafaxine. It will help.

I'm sure you know all this, it's sometimes when we're really down we forget how hard it is on the recovery road and feel we will never get there!
It takes time sometimes longer than others.

The depression is not you, it's the illness. So don't be hard on yourself, be kind to yourself. Just go with the flow, do what you can cope with.

Bit of a traumatic night, spent 6 hours in A&E due to SI and then had to go back this morning to have it sorted.

Exhausted.

Seeing Dr today, I think he will discharge me as being in hospital isn't helping me.

Hope you have had a peaceful night and managed to catch up with some sleep. I'm so sorry to hear of your bad night previously.

How do you feel about discharge. Mixed emotions? I imagine it's tough as it doesn't seem they haven't helped you. But it's another ordeal that you have survived that the average Joe doesn't know anything about.

You have shown such strength to come so far.
