I'm ok, thank you. Bit unsettled, but it's managable. What time are your family due?

UpOnDown · 08/02/2015 09:46

10:30/11ish. Sorry you're a bit unsettled.

Millie2013 · 08/02/2015 09:48

I'll be ok :)
Do you have to feed them? I quite like feeding people, when in the mood :)

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 09:49

:) looking forward to seeing family Up?

the lower limb situation has improved quite a lot thanks to lying down and watching the whole of Fargo yesterday/last night with my trusty 'hot & cold pack, flexible when frozen' gel things

I wonder if it will be completely normal by the time I see a physio tomorrow? Their strong holy black magic is so powerful simply talking to the receptionist and committing to an appointment brought dramatic results. I will be running again in no time

UpOnDown · 08/02/2015 09:59

I don't have to feed them. It should be good to see them, but I feel empty.

I'm glad the lower limb situation is improving, polly I hope the physio speeds up the healing.

Millie2013 · 08/02/2015 10:00

I hate empty, it's horrible :(

Yay, for an improved lower limb situation, Polly!

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 10:01

thanks up Flowers I really hope you feel better when they are there

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 10:02

and thanks millie :)

what are you doing today?

Millie2013 · 08/02/2015 10:06

Nothing planned, but I need to do something. OH is here, but I think he's got some work to do

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 10:23

am looking forward to going OUT anywhere

even to the co-op

#3 is obsessed with mason and kilner jars, and we were going to make up all our lunches for the week and her breakfasts - they keep for 5 or 6 days as long as you squish everything in tightly so not much air in there. She likes yoghurt, berries and granola. I think mine will be spinach and beetroot (maybe roast?) and feta or almonds and blueberries.

Ennn · 08/02/2015 10:25

No plans here

Morning all. Nothing much planned here except a nice long walk with friends and their dogs. Might involve a stop at a pub for a sneaky pint. It's a beautiful morning here.

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 10:27

look omelette in a jar! obviously am not going to put milk and ham in like the disgusting creature who wrote that but FETA

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 10:29

next time am invited somewhere for a meal I can take my jar of spinach and feta, crack two eggs into it and simply microwave and eat with them :)

HellinaHandbasket · 08/02/2015 10:35

A microwaved omelette doesn't sound the best Confused

PollyPooic · 08/02/2015 10:38

no

but it does open up several daring possibilities in terms of having supper with other people in their house, or lunch

obviously further research is urgently needed

UpOnDown · 08/02/2015 10:42

I used to make a microwave omelette aux fines herbes in a pyrex lid in the microwave

HellinaHandbasket · 08/02/2015 10:46

Sounds interesting Up. Have your guests arrived yet?

UpOnDown · 08/02/2015 10:48

Should be in the next 10 minutes.

HellinaHandbasket · 08/02/2015 10:49

I hope you can enjoy your time with them. It's nice to have company sometimes.

UpOnDown · 08/02/2015 12:43

They've gone. It was difficult, but the children were a distraction.

Ennn · 08/02/2015 13:03

Thanks. Having a bit of a melt down now.

Ennn · 08/02/2015 13:14

Is it that thing where you make the effort in front of people, but then when they're gone you have to pay for it and decompress a bit?

Yes, exactly that Sad
