TBH it sounds like getting rid of a service and expecting other people (the CMHT) to work more for the same money to take up the slack.

Getting rid of the crisis team as a separate thing , I mean

OP posts:
Ennn · 07/02/2015 17:30

Where's this tea then?

OP posts:
HellinaHandbasket · 07/02/2015 17:30

I wouldn't fancy being on call overnight. Hope my CMHT doesn't make the same decision. Would be interesting to know more about how things are actually working out in oxford.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 07/02/2015 17:32

I gave it out ages ago.

I also have a jacket potato if anyone wants it before the cat gets it?

HellinaHandbasket · 07/02/2015 17:35

I would love a jacket potato but diet says no. I'd hate to deprive the cat anyway.

Ennn · 07/02/2015 17:37

Oops, didn't see it there.

Grin

DP does this thing where he makes me a cup of tea but it only comes four-fifths of the way up the mug, then puts the mug down on the far side of the table from me, so that from the angle I'm sitting at, it looks like an empty mug I've put out of the way.

Then he gets narky that I let the cup of tea he's made me go cold because i didn't know about it Hmm

My DP doesn't drink tea so it's fatal to ask to be made a cup. It's undrinkable piddle. She can operate the coffee machine, thankfully.

UpOnDown · 07/02/2015 17:51

I wonder what the staff think of it.

They made me some food earlier when they came.

HellinaHandbasket · 07/02/2015 17:53

That was kind of them Up. Aside from the food prep was it useful to have them call?

Ennn · 07/02/2015 17:57

He just brought me this.

Also it will be too weak but also incredibly astringent because he mashes the bag. He has to, because he uses water that isn't hot enough and only brews it for a minute.

"Where is the rest of it?" I yearn to cry.

I'm not sure, they say to phone if I'm feeling suicidal, but at the end of the day what can they do?

Ennn · 07/02/2015 18:00

I love him really. He spent two hours this morning paying attention to my necessaries.

I know what you mean UpOn, it feels kind of "what can they do", but does it help to know that they know you're struggling?

OP posts:
UpOnDown · 07/02/2015 18:04

Not really, it emphasises that I'm on my own.

HellinaHandbasket · 07/02/2015 18:09

Have you any family you can speak to Up?

Millie2013 · 07/02/2015 18:11

I had a surge of enthusiasm and make tiramisu and clafoutis, if anyone's interested?

UpOnDown · 07/02/2015 18:13

I'm kind of shutting down from them, don't want to worry them.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 07/02/2015 18:14

Clafoutis please. Could you drop it round? I'm not joking

Ennn · 07/02/2015 18:14

CLAFOOOUUUUUTIIIIIIS!!!!!!

Millie2013 · 07/02/2015 18:32

Up, I'm a bit like that with people at the moment. Therspist says I'm like a snail, hiding in her shell :/
My clafoutis is pretty good, even if I say so myself!

UpOnDown · 07/02/2015 18:37

I love clafoutis

Ennn · 07/02/2015 18:38

I just want to say that you're all beautiful people and I love you all, and can't believe I wanted to kill myself two and a half months ago, and that these threads and the lovely people on them really helped me.

Team Tiramisu here though.

Am pretty sure I should be able to make a low GI version if I put more mascarpone in instead of biscuit
