Sound yummy.

I had some stood bloobs with yoghurt last night!

A raw bloob is a wasted bloob IMO.

If I test mine, on the free fb testing kit, what should it be? About 5? I had dinner at 5:45.

Ennn · 07/02/2015 22:19

Ideally it should be below about 5.5 by two hours postprandial and fasting should be below 5.

The NHS tolerates higher numbers tho Hmm

I don't want my BG to be good for a diabetic. I want normal BG.

You should be okay though. I now know that the hyperglycaemia I experienced on quetiapine was marked - fasting BGs in the 6-7 range (I wasn't told that was why they stopped it, and I wasn't told that olanzapine carried the same risks). Since you know the risks and you're testing normal I think you're fine.

Not 6-7 range, 7-8 range.

2h postprandial 5.5. Woo.

I would prefer it lower as home BG meters tend to measure lower than proper blood tests, dunno why. Maybe it's to help prevent type 1s going hypo.

It's too dark to do it in here, and I've just had some biscuits so I might have to hold off on checking I'm not diabetic for a bit longer.

Am eating pomelo and wondering why they always smell of seaside-dead-crab-air.

I know why it is, but I would have to kill you if I told you.

I put Plackers on the shopping list and DP bought own-brand flossers Sad

They're so sharp I managed to stab myself in the bottom lip and leave a scab that's still there two days later.

Had half a pomelo just after I tested my blood at 5.5, and 1h later it tested at 4.2. Maybe the nurse was right, and fruit doesn't affect my BG Blush its just that until just recently when DP bought me some more test strips I've been unable to actually determine what foods do what because they only give me one strip a week, so have been avoiding anything and everything that is high carb or high sugar.

I didn't take my antipsychotic last night, and I'm wide awake now (this is because family are visiting this morning). How is everyone this morning?
