Excellent plan. Wine is the answer to so many of life's problems

My DP has just surprised me with a weekend away for valentines day. She's even booked the cat into the cattery Smile

HellinaHandbasket · 11/02/2015 20:26

Sorry guys Blush

Millie2013 · 11/02/2015 20:26

Hellina, that's lovely :)
Now I'm eating a cadburys dessert, without DD trying to make a grab for it. Bliss!!
(I do feed her, honestly, but I feed her wholesome stuff!)

UpOnDown · 11/02/2015 20:27

No need for sorries, we're just jealous Wink

HellinaHandbasket · 11/02/2015 20:28

I just had a moment of weakness and ate the Star Bar that I managed to avoid eating last night.

UpOnDown · 11/02/2015 20:32

I only avoid things by not buying them, you can't do that when you live with people.

Millie2013 · 11/02/2015 20:38

I live mostly alone (with DD). I buy her healthy stuff and buy myself rubbish. I've got no excuse, as I cook lovely food for her!

Millie2013 · 11/02/2015 20:39

What's a star bar?

Ennn · 11/02/2015 20:40

Some eighties thing I think

Millie2013 · 11/02/2015 20:41

Need one!!

Ennn · 11/02/2015 20:42

I also can't avoid things unless I don't buy them, if they're on my allowed list. I have no problem not eating DP's cakes/biscuits/chocolate as they're on my allowed list but can eat a kilo of almond butter in a fortnight

Ennn · 11/02/2015 20:43

NOT on my allowed list I mean

I'm going to watch Count Arthur Strong recorded from last night. I think it's funny but then again I have a fairly odd sense of humour.
It's DDs 4th birthday tomorrow and she is so excited bless her. I managed to find 5 mins of energy earlier in the week to order a load of plastic tat, thank god for tesco direct, just need to wrap it now. We are having a party for her on Saturday (did I say, already?) but is only close friends who know about DS1 and my mental abnormality.
Been to see DS1 and he is not great. Yesterday he made an attempt but stopped and told a nurse. So he is on 1-2-1s again. He was meant to be coming home for half term but I don't know if we can have him overnight like this. DH is struggling, he is quite mentally normal so doesn't understand the bad feelings.

Millie2013 · 11/02/2015 20:44

Almond butter? What are all these crazy new foods?

Ennn · 11/02/2015 20:45

Evenings are a bit easier for me when I'm low, anyone else find that?

OP posts:
Ennn · 11/02/2015 20:47

Almond butter is like peanut butter but more almondy.

OP posts:
Millie2013 · 11/02/2015 20:47

Hugs, David, I'm sorry that your son is struggling, but pleased he was able to tell the staff, I can empathise with the plastic tat, DD has decided she loves happyland, so I'm on the hunt for more for her birthday, because we clearly don't have enough plastic shite!!

UpOnDown · 11/02/2015 20:48

I find evenings are worse, but that's because I'm groggy from antipsychotics earlier in the day. I hope the party and presents go well, David

Ennn · 11/02/2015 20:48

121s suck arse. Your poor DS.

I can't decide if I like peanut butter, but I like Reece's pieces. Almond butter sounds more sophisticated

HellinaHandbasket · 11/02/2015 20:51

A Star Bar is chocolate with caramel, peanut butter and peanuts. Hats to come by but delicious and DPs favourite.

UpOnDown · 11/02/2015 20:51

I like Reece's peanut butter cups.

HellinaHandbasket · 11/02/2015 20:51

Hard not hats!
