why do people insist on asking us to do stuff? don't they know we have mental disorders?

Ugh I am so bored of tidying up. I can't decide if the mess is worse than the tidying up.

Mitchy1nge · 03/02/2015 14:33

I've done nothing all day, except make gloop and eat it, make lunch and eat it

my life was pretty small and unchallenging anyway but it seems to have shrunk dramatically over the past week or two

I could at least have a bath, that would help

I do have the thrill of entering the mentally disordered heartland of this area, the CMHT, this afternoon if I can be bothered

OP posts:
CaulkheadUpNorth · 03/02/2015 14:38

Go for it. There may be beautiful people there like at mine.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 03/02/2015 14:40

I'm sure the good people in the CMHT would love to see you. I'd like any distraction from the current drudgery.

Mitchy1nge · 03/02/2015 14:42

is a shame am not in the mood to be as entertaining as at other times in my career as A Mental In The Community, like when I drove my defender across the plants and right up against the glass so they could all admire it as closely as possible

OP posts:
Mitchy1nge · 03/02/2015 14:43

was not a hostile or aggressive act

was a new (to me) defender and I thought they would like to see him and his little orange light on his head

CaulkheadUpNorth · 03/02/2015 14:43

My cmht doesn't have plants. I wonder if that is why. Go on, go, and then come back and tell us what it's like and I can have cmht jealousy.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 03/02/2015 14:45

Surely the point of defenders is to drive places you can't in a normal car. Didn't too gear do the volcano in one?

SnowyMouse · 03/02/2015 14:45

I'm still here.

Mitchy1nge · 03/02/2015 14:45

I can't yet, #3 back in a minute

and I need a bath and to persuade her that we mustn't ride or DO ANYTHING except lie down until tomorrow

It's ok, I'm avoiding replying to DTherapist now. I Just need to text friend who's trying to get hold of me to fend her off, then I'll be ok

Mitchy1nge · 03/02/2015 14:46

hi snowy! you were missed, not the same without you

did you try day hospital?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 03/02/2015 14:47

Hey snowy

Millie if you avoid texting her who ends up getting hurt or ruminates on it or whatever?

Millie2013 · 03/02/2015 14:49

Snowwwwy :) Hello!
If I avoid texting her, I can forget about it for a while....

CaulkheadUpNorth · 03/02/2015 14:52

Fair. That makes sense. I text lovely therapist but only at arranged times or if I'm in crisis, so we don't have conversations via it. But that's mainly to give her a break from me, as we meet twice a week!

Mp - how long till the next therapy session?

Mentalpsychiatrist · 03/02/2015 14:54

Tomorrow evening Caulk, I'm dreading it.

Mitchy1nge · 03/02/2015 14:55

by march, when am not forking out £213 a month to david lloyd, I could think about getting my own therapist

at the moment I don't feel part of the gang at all :(

OP posts:
CaulkheadUpNorth · 03/02/2015 14:57

Will think of you. Ime the dreading it is normal and is much worse than the actual session. And it's helpful in the long run too, to go through the really really difficult stuff too.

mitchy currently having a therapist is brilliant but there are times when it's such hard work that you want to just walk out.

Mitchy1nge · 03/02/2015 14:59

wonder if a private therapist would say I'm beyond the reach or if that's just an nhs thing

OP posts:
CaulkheadUpNorth · 03/02/2015 15:01

Nhs. I've had the "you've had these issues too long for us to deal with" from nhs people. Private is good because it's as long as you need it to be and so they have more time to try and fix you.
