I have achieved an omelette (2 eggs, spinach and feta) which was very pleasant. Feeling nicely filled.

DP went through a phase of knitting hats, we have a drawer full of them. I persuaded her to knit me a cashmere one which I've been wearing the last couple of weeks. Hat hair be damned.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 04/02/2015 13:28

I always knit socks, and then the academic asked me to do baby hats and now I'm doing normal hats. But I mighty go back to socks because I have beautiful sock wool.
This hat is will elk wool which is like mohair but cheaper.

SnowyMouse · 04/02/2015 13:28

Sounds nice mp I've just had spicy chicken dumplings (6x32kcal). They were nice.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 04/02/2015 13:34

I have many pairs of socks too. I like cashmere socks in the winter. I think we might have moths though as I've been finding holes in jumpers and socks.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 04/02/2015 13:36

Our washing machine is making holes in my clothes. Hmm

Mentalpsychiatrist · 04/02/2015 13:38

That's not good Caulk. Can you get a repair person out to have a look at it?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 04/02/2015 13:41

I don't know. I mean yes, I can, but it's a rented house and a new machine, we've had it about 6 months. I've had it in old houses too so I'm slightly concerned I could be doing something wrong. I might ask the others and see if they get it too.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 04/02/2015 13:49

Ibdon't know how wrong you can go with a washing machine. Surely you just pile everything in, add the little soap thingy and let it go? Household appliances are fickle beasts though.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 04/02/2015 14:03

Yes that's what I'm doing. They play with your mind through don't they, but making you question whether it's a full load or not and what temperature and what cycle and all the types of powder and stuff. I can't make decisions about which toothpaste to use, I can manage all the options of a washing machine!

Ivytheterrible · 04/02/2015 14:05

Caulk try feeling inside the drum there might be something sharp caught inside that is catching on clothes. Have you lost any bra wires lately?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 04/02/2015 14:07

No. Sorry. I cannot do that. I try and stay as far away from the thing as possible. I'll ask one of the others too though.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 04/02/2015 14:20

I go to the Dobbies at Braehead, Caulkhead.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 04/02/2015 14:34

Ah no, that's not mine. I have been there though on the way back from Inveraray

Mentalpsychiatrist · 04/02/2015 14:36

I've never been to a Dobbie's. Am I missing out on a wondrous cafe experience? We have a garden centre in the village but the most excitement it has to offer is chickens, no cafe.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 04/02/2015 14:38

Some are brilliant. Dobbies is nice but webbs is the best. You cannot beat a webbs.

Can you pick up the chickens? I miss chickens.

Mitchy1nge · 04/02/2015 14:39

never heard of dobbies

shall I add it to the list of things suffolk remains free of, like motorways and a city?

have achieved bath and hair wash, the next thing is to get dressed

I still don't feel very well

The Isle of Wight doesn't have those either. Also doesn't have a university and the first escalator only went up and was built about fifteen years ago.

100s of points for getting dressed and things. Do you need to go places now?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 04/02/2015 14:53

I've also remembered via Google that the good dobbies is in Shepton mallet.

SnowyMouse · 04/02/2015 14:54

I can't shake the feeling that accidents happen.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 04/02/2015 14:55

In what way snowy?

SnowyMouse · 04/02/2015 15:00

To me.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 04/02/2015 15:13

Have you had an accident snowy?

SnowyMouse · 04/02/2015 15:18

No. I shouldn't have posted at all.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 04/02/2015 15:25

Of course you should post. Having a crappy day?

SnowyMouse · 04/02/2015 15:27

Yes. It's struck me that all I need do to end things is go out at night and slide into the river. How are you doing?
