Welcome home, Mentalpsychiatrist. Were you skiing? (IIRC)

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/01/2015 15:58

Hi toothpaste, nice to meet you.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/01/2015 15:59

Hi Millie, I was skiing in Switzerland but now sadly back in the real world.

Millie2013 · 11/01/2015 16:03

:) We were in France over new year, I've never skied in Switzerland, we are creatures of habit and keep returning to France

SnowyMouse · 11/01/2015 16:07

Welcome back, mental Smile

Enpoid · 11/01/2015 16:28

Hi again Mental; glad you had a good time (but hope the sleep gets sorted out).

Quite fancy skiing, but don't fancy dry slopes again. Would have to go alone, though. Can't see DP on skis. Grin

Mitchy1nge · 11/01/2015 17:33

I'll ski with you enpo if I survive latest back/abdominal crisis (had to pull over 3x to spew into a carrier bag on way to see Man, am currently in his bath feeling bit better) although I can't parallel ski, in fact I ski like a toddler

I love watching toddlers ski. I saw one ski almost an entire slope, straight down, in snowplough last week, with his father yelling for him to slow down. Kudos!

Millie2013 · 11/01/2015 17:46

Mitchy, meh. Do you know what's wrong?

Enpoid · 11/01/2015 17:49

Grin Thanks Mitchy. It's been so long, I may have to revert to snowplough myself.

Shame you're feeling so crap. Did you go back to the doctor during the last bout at all? I can't remember if they decided what it was.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 11/01/2015 17:57

Gall bladder problems by any chance Mitchy?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 11/01/2015 17:58

I'm about to ring the crisis team. They're going to be wonderful and brilliant and helpful aren't they? Aren't they?

toothpasteinthetree · 11/01/2015 18:00

Caulk what's wrong?

Enpoid · 11/01/2015 18:01

You've done really well so far this weekend Caulk. Good luck with the crisis team Flowers

Enpoid · 11/01/2015 18:02

(Hope that doesn't sound patronising - I really mean it.)

Enpoid · 11/01/2015 18:08

It may be worth getting the kettle on and checking the boiler is working now, to save time. Wink

CaulkheadUpNorth · 11/01/2015 18:11

Thank you.
I spoke to someone at the switchboard, and they said someone will call me back before 10pm and have a warm drink. So I suppose that's just four hours. Although what I'm imagining they will do is beyond me.

Millie2013 · 11/01/2015 18:17

Hugs, Caulk. I hope they are useful

CaulkheadUpNorth · 11/01/2015 18:31

It's all going to be ok, isn't it.

Enpoid · 11/01/2015 18:54

Caulky you got through yesterday, you can get through today as well.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 11/01/2015 19:09

I wish I even had the energy to be angry at myself for feeling this low again.

Cannot even be bothered to pretend to be Mentally Normal. Am lying on the sofa crying, watching a programme about baliffs. I have even let the ex friend come in and about at me about being messy.

Millie2013 · 11/01/2015 19:16

Do you live with ex friend? That must be tough :(

CaulkheadUpNorth · 11/01/2015 19:17

Yep. We were best friends before the od. There are four of us, the other two are lovely.

Millie2013 · 11/01/2015 19:32

That's sad and I can kind of see it from both sides, as I have supported someone who took an OD and I have put friends and loved ones in difficult situations too. :(
Do you speak at all?

Millie2013 · 11/01/2015 19:41

(And in both above situations, I don't blame either myself or friend, I was just alluding to how tough it is) xx
