I like water biscuits though, they are more civilised. Or digestives with blue cheese....

CaulkheadUpNorth · 16/01/2015 22:10

I like them all, but cream crackers and muller rice are my go-to food. I've just consumed more than I usually would!

Enpoid · 17/01/2015 01:47

I used to love Müller rice when I was little Smile Especially the ones with caramel at the bottom.

Millie2013 · 17/01/2015 03:18

Isn't it just like cold rice pudding tho? Shudder

Am awake, wondering where the hell my life went when I became so mentally abnormal :(

Millie2013 · 17/01/2015 07:56

Who the hell has therapy at 9am on a Saturday?
That'll be me. Off to get my arse kicked again...

brightandbreezyNot · 17/01/2015 08:40

Hope it went ok,Millie

Millie2013 · 17/01/2015 09:58

She kicked my arse, I deserved it!!
Onwards...

Mitchy1nge · 17/01/2015 10:24

so much scary curry chat from last, am wondering whether to make a stand against the currification of this thread and uphold the ways of blandness for which I and all the mentally normal stand (eggs, spinach, feta, watery porridge, apples, yoghurt) but am not feeling all that mentally or physically amazing

in fact if someone knocked at the door and said 'sorry mitchy, we have to execute you this afternoon' I don't think I would mind at all

but they probably won't so will take some more naproxen and tramadol and diazepam and see what is wrong with orange pony - it was hilarious in some ways but also a bit horrible, I had NO BRAKES and she's not that sort of pony, tried to turn her, the only thing that really slowed her down was making her go into the plough (I remember this from my youth) but she still wouldn't actually stop but it did help, explained to farmer, is ex MFH, thought was hilarious, said 'well done'

anyway she was a bit wild, is not that sort of horse, so dunno

ohmygod it is SNOWING

my severe factitious illness is resolving itself miraculously in the face of some exciting weather!

CaulkheadUpNorth · 17/01/2015 10:29

Oh Mitchy, am sorry about the lack of amazingness of current times. I would also be accepting of execution, and would turn down all expenses paid trip to USA. But you are up and doing things and that is great. Power through with watery porridge.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 17/01/2015 10:32

Snow was promised here from 3am and we have none. I am making a stand and not getting out of bed, or even considering any form or mental normality until it snows.

Millie, I am overwhelmed by you having to get up by 9am and all that.

I am expected to go to ikea today and decathlon and all that stuff. It feels as possible as flying to Cyprus using just my arms as wings and my toes as...I dunno, some other part of a plane.

Mitchy1nge · 17/01/2015 10:38

I was eating watery porridge (89 cals) while I typed! Fortified by apricot/cranberry/sunflower and pumpkin seeds (81 cals) and a whole tablespoon of honey (49 cals) even though am not running today or doing anything more strenuous than a bit of mucking out, poss ride brown one, walk dogs (they can free range it if necessary)

what are you getting from decathlon? Envy

Ping pong balls for the academic housemate to use for her brownies troop. (Troop? Is that what they are called?) will also end up buying stuff for me, probably thermal clothes as am too fat for the ones I have, and will generally just wander round believing I am more active than I am.

It's on a big retail park with ikea, tkmaxx, boots, top shop, all other fun places, so will end up spending far to much on things I don't need.

Mitchy1nge · 17/01/2015 11:08

you are so lucky having shops that are not the co-op within easy reach Grin

not that Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge are not within easy reach but the closest is about 15 miles, effortful, and not overflowing with interesting shops when you get there

#3 just showed me Hozier's video for 'take me to church', could have managed without that really, the song is already quite sad enough without the visual aids Hmm

OP posts:
CaulkheadUpNorth · 17/01/2015 11:12

It's not that close, probably about twenty(?) miles up the motorway and is in the Black Country. We do have great shops closeby, four supermarkets within a mile, just not ikea.

Millie2013 · 17/01/2015 11:12

Caulk I got some base layers from decathlon and they were fab! The silk glove liners are good too
I hope he traffic isn't too horrific up there, I always seem to get stuck in it

CaulkheadUpNorth · 17/01/2015 11:13

Haven't seen it, am lying in bed moping so searching on youtube is too much hard work. Is if like The Band Perry if I die young? Was very big when lived in USA, no one here has ever heard of it.

Mitchy1nge · 17/01/2015 11:14

:(

CaulkheadUpNorth · 17/01/2015 11:15

I once went when next sale was on and queued from the motorway to get into the carpark. I always believe it's closer than it is, I forget I am quite some miles (no idea how many, 5?) from the motorway this side.

Possibly shouldn't drive, given yesterday's debacle, but I probably should go to the walk in or chemist for throat stuff so I can sneeze or cough without feeling like I'm exploding.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 17/01/2015 11:20

Thanks. Didn't realise I knew the song, but I do. Video is good but wow, sad.

Here is other one. Bit poppy but is ok.

Mitchy1nge · 17/01/2015 11:27

was not really feeling the tragedy in that one in fact was hoping they would all die, quickly it reminded me of WELL ANNOYING ex-friend who could recite the whole of The Lady of Shallott

Just back from riding the big grey one in my life in the snow. Despite merino wool base layers I'm absolutely freezing. Need to get changed but am lacking urgency. Might just have a second breakfast first. DP wants to go into town, I want to curl up on the sofa with a crappy film. I'll end up going to town and will bad-temperdly traipse around John Lewis in the hunt for a griddle pan. Exciting times.

Millie2013 · 17/01/2015 11:37

I'm playing happyland with DD, I fear this is as mentally normal as today will be

Mitchy1nge · 17/01/2015 11:38

nobody is bad tempered in JL Hmm what is for second breakfast?

have gone fucking mental and had TWO sachets of Cadburys highlights caramel flavour hot chocolate in ONE mug, with last dribble of espresso

#3 is making me go to Norwich or Cambridge and take her wannarexic friend to GBK this evening, GBK that well known favourite haunt of those who obsessively and anxiously monitor their weight Hmm

(am not being horrible, I am a bit, but her friend annoys me to the point of death)

OP posts:
Mentalpsychiatrist · 17/01/2015 11:39

Pain au chocolat and espresso for second breakfast. I accidentally drifted into the bakery on my way home.
