Just got back from the supermarket with DD, need a lie down in a dark room ;) Trying to entertain her and do the weekly shop is hard work

Therapy at 2 and I'm not looking forward to it. Meh xx

SnowyMouse · 14/01/2015 12:54

I feel rubbish. My true colours scores have gone up too Sad

Mentalpsychiatrist · 14/01/2015 13:21

Sorry you're feeling crappy Snowy.

I would need a lie down after a trip to the supermarket too Millie.

I also have therapy this evening but am debating cancelling given I'm ill.

SnowyMouse · 14/01/2015 13:34

Sorry you're feeling ill, mental Sad

I guess you don't want to pass the bug to your therapist either, and you might not be in the right state for therapy.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 14/01/2015 13:45

I'm actually feeling a lot better but like you say, I don't really want to pass the bug on to anyone else. I think I'll call and cancel.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 14/01/2015 14:07

Sorry things aren't good Snowy.

My boss has just come in and given me 24 hours to think about whether this job is right for me or not.

SnowyMouse · 14/01/2015 14:27

Oh dear caulk How do you feel about it?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 14/01/2015 14:31

Like I am a failure. I can't afford to resign so maybe I can be signed off? What do doctors do when you say you can't work because you want to not be here anymore? Sad

Millie2013 · 14/01/2015 14:55

Caulk, I'm signed off at the moment, I'm sure a Dr would sign you off

Mentalpsychiatrist · 14/01/2015 14:58

We give you a sick note for depression Caulk.

Millie2013 · 14/01/2015 15:00

Therapist decided some tough love (an arse kicking) was the way forward. I don't like her very much right now, but I think it's done me good..

CaulkheadUpNorth · 14/01/2015 15:19

I can't afford to be signed off for long, as I go onto ssp after a few weeks. But it's the plan for the short term.

SnowyMouse · 14/01/2015 15:25

That sounds very difficult, caulk Sad That sounds a good short-term plan.

I can't decide whether to email CPN when she is back, she probably has a very full email box as she's on leave since Christmas.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 14/01/2015 15:26

Email her.

Millie2013 · 14/01/2015 15:41

Embarrassingly (because my head is firmly in the sand), I've got no idea how long I'm on full pay for. Of course, not knowing doesn't do much for my anxiety...
Getting signed off will give you some breathing space at least, Caulk?

SnowyMouse · 14/01/2015 16:46

Good news: 7 days calorie counting at 1200 kcals Smile

Feeling horribly low though.

Mitchy1nge · 14/01/2015 17:00

Wednesday afternoon/evening cuddles all round (except the germ-riddled among you Hmm) being signed off sounds good caulk, there is quite a lot going on with counselling and ED referral

am pleased to have achieved a run even if it was a little one, was interesting to go with a friend who just runs for fun and has no idea of her pace or distance or whatever, tucked in behind her and she stopped quite abruptly at 4 miles because she'd had enough and fancied a walk - it just made such a lovely change from normal running people who tend to agree upon x miles at a certain pace

hopefully can do a slightly longer one tomorrow but won't be Long long, am trying not to have mental breakdown about possibility of missing the long one this week, is not like there is a half marathon to race in about 3 or 4 weeks Shock

Hi everyone. Seems likes difficult time at the moment for lots of us Sad

The trouble with being nonfunctional in the mornings is trying to cram everything into the same few hours between lunch and dinner. Have done groups, am shortly off to gym. Cancelled guided meditation tomorrow, purportedly for care coordinator appointment, but actually to go to the cinema Blush (I could just about have made it to the meditation after my appointment but this is one of the few showings of Birdman they're putting on locally).

Being Mentally Normal is busy Hmm

CaulkheadUpNorth · 14/01/2015 17:27

It's a full time job isn't it. Confused

SnowyMouse · 14/01/2015 17:38

Definitely! Confused Hmm

Millie2013 · 14/01/2015 17:42

And I'm not very good at holding down a full time job :/

Mitchy1nge · 14/01/2015 19:57

had a lovely surprise visit from a customer from long long long long long long ago far back in the reaches of time - she had a tiny new baby spaniel for my spaniel to play with, am broody as fuck now, absolutely adorable

the best part was she arrived at dominos o'clock and helped out, she gave me the Hmm face when I insisted am eating close to 3000 cals a day but that's the thing about being mentally normal, nobody ever believes you

also has been 11 days since any purging type behaviours (unless you count exercise but that would be harsh) - over a third of the way through the first of my magical three month goal MEDAL

Am very very proud of you. Well done.

SnowyMouse · 14/01/2015 20:14

Well done mitch That can't be easy.

Millie2013 · 14/01/2015 20:30

Mitchy, that's fab!!! I know what bloody hard work it is (vvvvvvv hard work), I hope you're proud of yourself
I'm in bed, with a snoozing baby, watching midsomer murders. Rock n roll, huh?
