I was right in thinking you'd all be lovely - glad I dropped by. Thanks for your thoughts too Enpoid

Enpoid · 13/01/2015 19:42

Ah bugger Caulk, that's really hard. You're doing so well; try not to let the fuckwits Crisis Team's bullshit bother you.

Are you texting Samaritans?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 13/01/2015 19:43

Yep.

toothpasteinthetree · 13/01/2015 19:44

Caulk sending love. Did they suggest the hot bath Hmm?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 13/01/2015 19:46

This morning they said to if I needed to relax. It's one of my last resorts though, too easy to end up cutting.

I'm sorry for all the rubbishness folks.

JugglingFromHereToThere · 13/01/2015 19:46

I'm glad you're here Caulk
Enpoid will get you through, she's lovely

Millie2013 · 13/01/2015 19:49

Can you text or email uber therapist, Caulk? I really don't get what the crisis team do? is that all try have to offer?
How could they better support you, Caulk? Is there anything any of us can do?
I made (microwaved) dinner, but was too full to eat it. D'oh. It was a low cal meal from waitrose and tasted like cardboard anyhow, so I wasn't missing much
We may wake up to snow here. DD hates it, well she hated it in France and hated her snowsuit even more!

Mitchy1nge · 13/01/2015 19:50

don't be sorry :(

wish could think of something helpful to do, take something sedating (not too much) and go to bed?

OP posts:
CaulkheadUpNorth · 13/01/2015 19:51

Yes I've text her. I have no clue what I want crisis team to do or whatever but I know that Freud and the therapist will say did I call them so I can say yes.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 13/01/2015 19:52

I've got lithium quetiapine citalopram and promazine. Not sure which would be most sedating, plus terrified that if I go to sleep I'll then wake up tomorrow and feel the same - know how stupid that is.

Mitchy1nge · 13/01/2015 19:55

quetiapine is safest and can be sedating

is a bit drastic but I'm not good at these things, sedatives are all anyone offers me, but you are safe when asleep and sleep can be so healing there's a really good chance of feeling a bit better tomorrow

OP posts:
toothpasteinthetree · 13/01/2015 19:55

It's a legitimate fear. I'd guess either quetiapine or promazine as the most sedating?

Mitchy1nge · 13/01/2015 19:56

hopefully lithium will commence its magic soon too

I've just emailed my line manager, who is currently on safari and in no way responsible (and probably totally unaware of) this mess. I've just re-read the email I sent and it sounds incredibly aggressive and a tad threatening.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck

CaulkheadUpNorth · 13/01/2015 19:59

It's taking forever dor me to type, sorry!

Quetiapine is part of normal bedtime meds, I'm on 100mg. Horrible restless legs if I take it when I'm not too tired, but yes you are right, probably most sedating.

Thank you for being lovely everyone.

Enpoid · 13/01/2015 20:14

Have just finished dinner and back on thread.

Caulk, have you seen "your" cat today? If it doesn't sound too daft, you could tell the cat how you're feeling Flowers I used to cuddle my rats a lot when I felt urges.

tooth, maybe it's coming across aggressively in your head because of how you're feeling at the moment and its not actually too bad? [hopeful]

Enpoid · 13/01/2015 20:16

Thank you Juggling Blush I don't feel lovely

CaulkheadUpNorth · 13/01/2015 20:20

Cat. Good plan.

Millie2013 · 13/01/2015 20:23

It's snowing here, is it snowing there, Caulk, or is this weird microclimate again? :D
I'm cuddled up in bed with DD, who is either asleep or pretending to be asleep and will start giggling shortly. We shall see...

CaulkheadUpNorth · 13/01/2015 20:26

Yes it's snowing. Arse. Have to be safe if snowing as cannot drive anywhere. Poo.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 13/01/2015 20:27

No snow here.

Sorry you're feeling so rubbish Caulk, I don't know what I can say that will help.

Enpoid · 13/01/2015 20:57

A fairly quiet evening for me today. Lots of Star Trek to catch up on. Hmm

Mentalpsychiatrist · 13/01/2015 21:13

We're bickering over the recycling bin. My evening is that boring.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 13/01/2015 21:17

We have two recycling boxes and one is in the field across the road. Given how I haven't stood up for a wee in 4 hours I don't think I'm off to go and rescue it.

Enpoid · 13/01/2015 21:23

Did the wind take it? It was pretty blustery here this morning.
