Oh Snowy sorry you're having a tough time - you've seemed to be on an even keel of late - did you manage to enjoy the time with your family. Has anything triggered the voices. Playing music through your head phones sometimes distracts you ........can you try that. Maybe phone crisi tomorrow?

Mentalpsychiatrist · 27/12/2014 11:00

Belated merry Christmas to all. I have fed the hordes twice, seen them off and been hunting. Was a weird Christmas without my mum but we still managed to have a lot of fun.

Mitchy1nge · 27/12/2014 11:20

hunting Envy my loan hunter conveniently went lame (is sound now though so maybe in the new year?) my brown horse completely skinned my little fingers on our Christmas Day gallop, which was frankly terrifying in the slippery mud on his elderly legs - no brakes whatsoever, haven't ridden since (mostly because it would be a bit unfair to subject any horse to the extra hundred kg I seem to have gained)

how are things now snowy and everyone else?

#1 is still a bit mental, if I could cope with her she might be helpful with mucking out my house but prefer to do it peacefully, alone, I think

I've been merrily murdering the innocent residents of Los Santos on my new games console Grin

Also eating, drinking, losing miserably at Scrabble/Trivial Pursuit, etc.

Mitchy1nge · 27/12/2014 11:54

sounds fun

am losing miserably at Tidying The House and Not Bickering With Teenager Confused

Mitchy don't feel too bad about the hunting. I bet you don't ache all over today despite two hot baths.

Mitchy1nge · 27/12/2014 13:10

haha! Amazing isn't it, doesn't matter how riding fit you are

actually nothing aches at all for once Shock

Very fun. My parents are very pleased I am enjoying their present to me but are baffled as to why I would derive enjoyment from the experience. DF asked, bemused, "Why did you steal the car from that man if you were just going to smash it up straight away ConfusedSad?" Grin

I have done no exercise since Christmas day and am approaching sphericity.

Mitchy1nge · 27/12/2014 20:54

we have that game! Never played it though, am shit at that sort of thing

PLEASE let it be warm enough to run in the morning, have grandson all day while #1 continues Being Mental Confused got dressed in warmest kit today but cried about the cold instead of doing any running. Extra thermal layers are on the radiator ready.

In my defence my trail shoes have hardened into a deeply unappealing crust.

Ew. Narsty.

I have resorted to the rough embrace of Captain Morgan.

Enpoid · 27/12/2014 21:46

Mmmm.

Drunken.

Enpoid · 28/12/2014 11:05

My mum has just taught me to make scrambled eggs Blush

Mitchy1nge · 28/12/2014 12:39

I just had two scrambled eggs! And a slice of toast! Post-run refuel (medal).

Now am trapped in an upstairs flat in Bury St Eds until about 11pm because #1 has gone to work with the car seat. She is definitely sectionable for that alone. I need to ride and muck out. Is a horrible job to ask anyone to deal with Mr Cushings' stable and his 5000 litres of urine from last night.

I had three, with milk and butter and half a slice of this stuff.

I have had no food and a skinful of gin. I may be very drunk.

Enpoid · 28/12/2014 20:19

What sort of gin?

Mentalpsychiatrist · 28/12/2014 21:15

Plymouth

Enpoid · 28/12/2014 21:36

Nice.

Wish I was drunk. It might make Last Tango In Halifax more bearable. I have already suffered Downton Abbey and Call The Midwife this Christmas, so I hope I'm storing up a good amount of brownie points I can spend on playing GTA on the living room telly.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 28/12/2014 22:26

I used to live in a house overlooking the Plymouth gin distillery. It's worth going to the distillery not my old house

Mitchy1nge · 29/12/2014 11:40

man in my life was v drunk last night, still capable of Deep (sometimes funny but mostly squirmy) Chat about Our Relationship and how he'd like a bit more of me - luckily for him have gained about 700g over past week and a bit so at least one of us will be pleased about that

generally feel a bit bad though Confused my mood is in a good place but am not impressed by various of the demands people keep placing on me, which are probably minimal normal give and take type interactions

on plus side (not size, yet) a radiator fell off the wall in my daughter's flat yesterday! I don't even know how I'm doing it. Was one of those ladder type ones in the bathroom.

he feels really low on my list of priorities

which he sort of is and isn't

how can I make him feel less neglected without actually giving up any of my time? am very jealous of my time Confused

OP posts:
Enpoid · 29/12/2014 12:18

Is there something you currently do alone that you could sometimes do together?

I don't understand your radiator thing ConfusedGrin

Mitchy1nge · 29/12/2014 16:38

masturbating? he's given it up as a solo hobby, bit of a monastic streak there, whereas I definitely prefer to do it with my One True Love which is myself of course

mucking out? running? I can actually beat him over any distance even though he has been running for years he never does more than 2 or 3 quite ploddy miles at a time

am v excited for The Omelette in a minute despite already stuffing my face with a Graze punnet of super kale and edamame followed by one of their fruit and seed flapjacks for lunch. He has a bed of lovely fresh spinach to sit on and will be full of courgettes and cherry tomatoes and feta. Yum.

even more excited for NYE party tomorrow, need to get rid of all my aches and pains because last year there was a junior gymnast there and it was lovely to have someone to tumble with all over the place and show off pistol squats (v much doubt could do even one now)

OP posts:
Enpoid · 29/12/2014 17:58

Pistol squat?

I dread to think.
