Woop! Just got a call asking if I wanted to be visited today (er, no, ta) and telling me that they're about to call CMHT to hand me over to them. Finally getting off this daily checking up soon I hope

I personally do think yeah possibly there is a benefit to you in sharing what mind altering drugs you are currently using to someone who might be thinking of prescribing more for you

when I used to drink it was important for my consultant to not prescribe stuff that would interact badly with alcohol, I worry about my weight so obviously am not going to comply with any course of treatment that causes weight gain, if my mood is elevated or lowered I'd rather 'they' knew it was a consequence of MDMA or cocaine or whatever

but it might not be relevant, unless you are asked about it directly then it probably has some bearing on your treatment

is only my personal view but the fuller the picture you provide the better the understanding of you any psychiatrist is likely to develop

we need mental psychiatrist to clarify what, if any, benefits could flow to you following an admission of drug use

Anyway. I bought this amazing coat. Didn't really need another coat but hey. It's full length and dark grey, mostly wool. I wanted to buy this nice pure wool purple english-made one too but DP said it made me look like Alison Moyet so... Yeah

I don't know who that is, but it didn't sound like it was a compliment.

I think you have a point; if they ask its probably for a good reason. I just don't want plod at my door or banning from the USA

I'm supposed to know who she is as apparently DP plays her a lot but I am bad with names. Oh, and faces

(am not some hardened drug user, it comes in waves, I will go months and years without using, just realised I reference them so often it must sound like habitual use but it's not)

Nice coats are nice. Twelve months ago I had one coat that fit me. Now I'm a size 16 instead of a 26 on top I can buy whatever the fuck I like wherever the fuck I like. And have been!

I can NOT imagine any psychiatrist bothering to inform the police that a patient uses drugs

for one thing that's more than half the mentalists in town

for another, as was pointed out to me today, it would be a bit hypocritical of them

I don't take drugs either usually. Last time was years ago.

but with cannabis I did read recently that (and it was definitely dose-dependent so not your average recreational use) it definitely does have a role in sort of transitioning people from the at risk state/prodrome to full blown psychosis

so if that's your tipple it could be in your interests to be open about how much and how often you use it

Anyway, awesomely good news for me on HTT front - returned home maybe an hour ago to find a message from them, telling me to ring back, so I did - apparently I just need to turn up half an hour early to psych appointment and they will hand me over to CMHT (in person! )

In fact they offered to take me there FROM MY HOUSE.

I'm not getting out of this appointment, am I?

But at least it means I will with any luck be left alone now.

I might go and visit my brother.

Pretty sure CMHT will assess and immediately refer straight back to primary care.

when is appointment? have you had a chance to think about what you'd like to get from it?

I will wear my nicest shit so they can't comment on my attire. Once, a nurse actually wrote down that I wasn't wearing a bra.

Thursday. Want definitive diagnosis and referral to CBT.
