((( all ))) that are struggling today.

I've had an ok day today still feeling a bit weird. I entered a survey on mumsnet for a photo book and have been surprised to receive an email today saying I've been picked Shock this kind of thing doesn't happen to me. I'm really pleased though at least now DD will have a photo book which I've wanted to do for her for a while now.

Hope everyone has a good evening x

SnowyMouse · 14/10/2014 18:12

Oh dear fluffy thinking of you loads, hope you find a way forwards, hugs.

I hope you get better soon, mp, hugs to you too.

I'm glad you have a car now, spidey, well done on getting through it.

Congratulations on the photo book prize, sounds good pulled Smile

I saw the CPN about CBT today, think I'm going to do it.

SnowyMouse · 14/10/2014 19:05

I'm curled up in my sleeping bag and dressing gown, watching Masterchef Australia and relaxing.

fuzzpig · 14/10/2014 19:11

Hi all.

Glad you started a new thread spidey thanks, I was a bit overwhelmed by the other one!

Feeling crappy today, blah

Collardove · 14/10/2014 20:44

Fuzzpig - good to see you back :) sorry you feel crap tho :(

Snowy - you sound nice and cosy there! Do you think then that you will do the CBT? Its something that I still think about, and think I may of benifitted from trying. People do have mixed responses though. Hope your mood has lifted today?
Yes I am watching TV. Are you a fan of The Apprentice? It starts tonight at 9 :)

Pulled - hurrah for you!! :) It's nice to win something unexpectedly.

Fluffy - (((hugs)))

MP - poor you, but I suppose it's that time of year now for all that. Keep warm and get better soon.

Nethuns - thinking of you

Spidey - as we said the other day hate going to the garage. There's always something not right isn't there... But as long as the little faults don't bother you later, or cause an issue. Or they may say why you didn't point it out earlier?

I have been dog sitting today for a friend :) I am enjoying my last few days to myself before starting this new job next week.

I am looking forward to it. But I have enjoyed my little daily routine of faffing, pottering and doing as I please since being off. Only thing I won't like is when the clocks change leaving for work in the dark, then coming home in the dark :(

Hope everyone else has had a good/reasonable day.

Nana, Lem and CIQ - still thinking of you all. CIQ I know is lurking :) pop by and let us know you are okay if you both are too? :)

SnowyMouse · 14/10/2014 21:49

I'm watching the Apprentice. I am going to do the CBT.

Enjoy your last few days, collardove

Thinking of all of you.

fluffydressinggown · 14/10/2014 22:40

Watched Apprentice.

Struggling, really struggling.

MySpideySenseTickles · 15/10/2014 06:28

I hope the cbt helps snowy.
Fluffy I think of you numerous times in the day and hope you're ok.
I texted the garage and told him about the faults, it literally is stuff like the drivers seat doesn't raise and lower as it should but it's ok, the petrol gauge doesn't work but the light does so I'll just put fuel in when the light comes on. He said they didn't know about it when they sold me the car, but I'm not going to argue because it was really cheap and he bought my car for more than it was worth, which apart from the exhaust the heater didn't work properly it blew hot constantly, ok in winter but not great in summer, the blower didn't work on the windscreen so when it rained it steamed up and was hard to clear, the radio decided in the morning if it would work that day or not, it sounded like there was a bag of spanners left in the engine, the water pump made a weird whistling noise and if you stopped at traffic lights for too long it stalled.
I think it's an improvement!
Dh gave me a tesco gift card that he won at work so I can get myself something nice which was kind.
I don't know, things seem to be going well and I should be happy and excited but I just seem flat, it's getting me down that the cmht haven't boyhered to contact me yet so I don't know what's happening it's like all these people who are supposedly there to help me just don't care.

SnowyMouse · 15/10/2014 13:44

(((( fluffy ))))

Oh dear spidey Sad I know what you mean about feeling flat. What are you going to get with the gift card?

MySpideySenseTickles · 15/10/2014 14:17

I'm hoping to find some nice winter boots and thick black tights. If there's enough left I might get some slippers mine are about 5years old and are more hole than slipper lol.

Took ds swimming and he loved it, got vilified on chat for risking the lives of everyone in the pool because ds vomited once on Monday. I cried quite a lot, I just wanted to do something nice for ds on his rare day off school. I don't even know why I posted, I was so sure if would be ok I just needed to see someone else say it was.
I just seem to feel really down and crap I can't seem to do anything right.

OP posts:
TheSilveryPussycat · 15/10/2014 14:23

spidey take no notice of the chat stuff. Swimming pools are chlorinated, and I presume your DS didn't spew in the pool anyway. I was surprised how much a thread-bashing could hurt when it first happened to me, so I understand.

Winter boots :) That reminds me, I need some too.

Victrix · 15/10/2014 14:24

((Spidey))

The important thing is that your DS had a lovely day off with his mum Smile

By the way, I got some amazing slippers from Tesco a few weeks ago- they are properly cozy.

I think I'm aiming for hibernation- I don't normally feel the cold this much Confused

SnowyMouse · 15/10/2014 15:02

Gosh this is depressing, I hope he resigns: link

Victrix · 15/10/2014 15:11

I saw red when I saw that story earlier Snowy

TheSilveryPussycat · 15/10/2014 15:30

Dear oh dear. Flexible working would be a better approach.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 15/10/2014 18:51

I'm still full of cold and am being decidedly feeble. DP is making a chicken casserole which will hopefully warm me up. Saw my CPN this afternoon and she agreed that I'm more well now than I've been in over a year.

spidey I hope you get yourself something nice and good news about the new car. My car and I have fallen out over a £1600 bill for new tyres.

SnowyMouse · 15/10/2014 19:22

I hope you feel better from the cold soon, mp

How's everyone doing with the weather change?

Victrix · 15/10/2014 19:42

I love it. I get too hot really easily Grin

Makes going to the shops a little easier if I know I won't get fried.

Mentalpsychiatrist · 15/10/2014 19:50

I love the change in weather snowy. Autumn is my favourite time of year.

MySpideySenseTickles · 15/10/2014 19:53

Wow mp, you could literally buy my car three times over for the cost of your tyres!
I'm not liking the weather, I want to go out running, I tried the treadmill today but it needs lube or something because it was really stiff and has destroyed my knees although that could be down to my general painfulness flaring up as I have the weird all over oversensitivity that comes on sometimes, it's not like pain it's just like every single nerve fibre is working overtime. It's hard to explain.
Ds is back to school tomorrow and I'm going to miss him, he's driven me up the wall these two days but it's been nice having someone to talk to. Hopefully he doesn't tell his teacher he went swimming...

SnowyMouse · 15/10/2014 20:16

I prefer autumn and winter/spring to summer. Clothes are so much easier.

Victrix · 15/10/2014 22:02

I like my A/W wardrobe too- I really struggle with shoes in the summer, anything supportive enough for my bad leg tends to be heavy or too hot, but when it gets cooler I can wear BOOTS all the time Grin

I dyed my hair bright fuchsia pink today. I like it.

fluffydressinggown · 15/10/2014 22:10

Bright fuscia sounds fab vix I also love boots!

Glad you are feeling better MP

I am still on constants. Endless.

fluffydressinggown · 15/10/2014 22:11

Oh and psych is saying it is pseudo-psychosis and so I don't need anti-psychotics so no treatment for me. Which confirms what I thought. Need to get discharged.

MySpideySenseTickles · 16/10/2014 10:20

Oh god oh god I can't breathe I can't breathe Dh has just called someone's driven into his car on the way to work his car is written off and he's hurt, not badly but I need to go get him, I can't calm down enough to drive I can't dk this he could've been killed stupid bitch has admitted to the police that it was her fault. Dh is waiting for me at a funeral directors with the police as he refused an ambulance.

Oh fuck I can't cope with this I can't do it
