Still a bit upside down but not too bad, I'm now in possession of more pregnancy tests since I've still not started, drs next week if it doesnt start soon.
Ds has learnt to write his own name he's 3 1/2 he's got class star of the week at school his school photos came back and he's so gorgeous!
Hopefully he's been good today (I'm just going to pick him up) because he's heading for big rewards and cuddles today. I'm so proud!
And he ate every morsel of his homemade soup for lunch and said it was "lishus"

Aww, DS sounds sweet and clever spidey Smile

MySpideySenseTickles · 14/11/2014 15:35

He's my reason to live. And the reason I'm fighting the demons rather than just letting them fester.
I can honestly say if it wasn't for ds I'd've ended it by now. Now I'm looking forward to the future

Aww, well done to your DS Spidey, he sounds brilliant Grin

I've discovered proper gluten free honey cornflakes. I'm on my 3rd bowl.

Collardove · 14/11/2014 22:22

Thanks for sharing your views on my situation with my 'friend'.

Well I bit the bullet and told my friend how her insensitive behaviour upset me. How I think when it comes to friendship values that I think we are on different pages. She accused me of questioning her own values, which is not the same as what I said that we are on different pages.

To my surprise she has reacted very angrily :( and told me she is very angry with me :( She brought it to an end by saying she wished me well with my other friends! When I suggested we had a cooling period of a few days, then meet next week she said she is too angry to think about it....

Have I done the right thing?

Strangely enough I feel quite calm about it. I thought I would be reaching for my diazepam tonight, but I don't feel the need.

Sigh.......

Victrix · 14/11/2014 22:39

I think the fact you feel calm about it is a very clear sign you've done the right thing collar Flowers

I wrapped some Christmas presents today. This is deeply out of character, I'm usually allergic to festive stuff until around the 23rd of December Grin

Collardove · 14/11/2014 23:35

Victrix - thanks for your reply, I really needed that reassurance :)
Wrapped Christmas presents already! Victrix you are organised!! I did that a couple of years back, but didn't think to label them. So I had to unwrap them again to see what was what.... Grrrrr :P

SnowyMouse · 15/11/2014 15:54

Gosh that is organised. I'm busy knitting Christmas presents today.

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 15/11/2014 20:22

Hello folks. I know I've not been on here for ages, but I've been v busy in RL. Could you take a look at my thread here and help me out?

SnowyMouse · 15/11/2014 20:39

Thanks keema, will do.

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 15/11/2014 20:52

Thanks snowy :)

ColouringInQueen · 15/11/2014 21:34

well done collar definitely the right thing. She was angry because someone had dared to challenge her!

victrix I am a bit Envy no Christmas shopping done her. Just finished buying dds pressies, then its dhs in a fortnight, my mum.... let alone Christmas.

snowy what are you knitting?

Tough day here. Ds has had a v high fever all day, so no visiting dh for me and dd. Dd v upset tonight, finding school v tough at the moment. Not sure ds is going to well enough to visit tomorrow so not sure what to do... bleurh

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 15/11/2014 21:47

OMFG collar. I've just caught up with what happened with your friend. A) the boss at your old work is a tosser, but your friend texting you and managing it that was is just bollocks.

The way she's reacted, when she was the one to act like an arse, is just, well arsey. Pah.

Collardove · 16/11/2014 00:29

Keema - thanks for your post when you have do much going on in RL!

Yes ex boss is a tosser! People like her in management who have not an iota of interest in even trying to understand MH issues, and then making awful comments - there should be no place for folk like her within spitting distance of any management position.
As for 'friend' yes she is a thoughtless, gutless arse. I have no regret (as I thought I would) in confronting her.

CIQ - thanks for your supportive words. I'm still trying to get my head round her 'I'm so angry' response. No regard for me, my feelings, and she has totally bypassed the reason I explained to her that has caused me such upset, to turn this into her being the victim now!
She's never quite 'got' my MH problems. I do feel the end of friendship is nigh. She said she wants some space to get over her anger. So perhaps she can take as long as she likes...
Hope your DS feels better tomorrow :)

I hope everyone else is ok as the village has been a little quiet I can see.

Nite all x

ColouringInQueen · 16/11/2014 10:23

Very agitated this morning. Don't really know what to do with myself. Kids in front of tv again

SnowyMouse · 16/11/2014 12:19

I'm knitting some Jean Greenhowe dolls CIQ I'm sorry you're feeling agitated, is there anything you can do that calms or distracts you?

I agree collar, it is quiet recently Sad I'm not sure I'd call your
friend a friend. Sad

SnowyMouse · 16/11/2014 14:43

Knitting is exercise, right? Hmm

Victrix · 16/11/2014 15:25

I count it as exercise Snowy Grin

Hope you feel a bit better CIQ

Just been out for lunch with my dad and my partner, last big meal in a while since it's gallstone day tomorrow- I'm genuinely excited Grin

SnowyMouse · 16/11/2014 16:31

Oh that's good news, I hope the op goes smoothly, be thinking of you victrix!

fluffydressinggown · 16/11/2014 16:39

Hi everyone.

I have been home for a week now, going ok, had to go to A&E for SI on Friday but in general it is ok. Trying to sort out a med review soon as I don't get on with have taken myself off them.

Good for you for your campaign Keema, it is so important.

NanaNina · 16/11/2014 16:53

Hi folks - just lurking........have seen your post Keema and will go sign your petition. I wondered what had happened as you'd apparently asked for your other threads to be deleted.......glad you're keeping on keeping on......

Sorry can't post much today as feeling very flat and sorry for myself - CIQ so sorry things are difficult for you and DH just now. Is he making any progress? I know he's had to move hospitals - shortage of beds presumably? That must have been unsettling.

Glad you're home FDG but really hope you haven't stopped the meds again.......

Snowy any chance you could post a picture of these dolls you're knitting. Sounds quite therapeutic.

Hello everyone else...............

SnowyMouse · 16/11/2014 17:05

Oh dear fluffy, I'm glad you're out, but do you think that you should have stopped the meds?

((( NN ))) sorry you're feeling flat.

These dolls.

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 16/11/2014 17:50

Well I got the threads deleted as they were a bit too identifying and I started a thread in the campaign name, but then I was reported by some other posters as spamming the board and that got deleted too.

Anyway, I decided that the only way to get folks to help out was if I used my regular name so folks knew that I wasn't a spam bot. Thanks to everyone who has signed it. It means a lot.

Fluffy, really really glad you're out of hospital and doing OK. I hope the med review helps you

Nana - sorry to hear you're a bit flat and I hope you pick up soon.

Much love to everyone else too. With any luck they'll give us the beds back soon so we can all have a much needed rest!

SnowyMouse · 16/11/2014 17:54

Oh dear keema, it's a shame about the self-appointed board police we have here.

I've just ordered Chinese, got offered some free prawn crackers, which was nice (I only order the minimum for delivery, so it was surprising).

I'm also crossing fingers that my blood tests come back ok this week, as last week they were out.

Pulledapart · 16/11/2014 17:58

((( Big hugs all round )))

Good luck with your op tomorrow victrix Flowers

I'm still feeling pretty low and flat so still in lurking mode Sad
