SnowyMouse · 30/10/2014 20:19

(((( caulk )))) hand-holding just in case.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 30/10/2014 20:22

Thanks all. I'll tell you all cheese jokes if it goes ok as they're good when it's cold and dark.

EnpoTree · 30/10/2014 20:30

Handholding. Sorry; I have cold fingers. Smile

CaulkheadUpNorth · 30/10/2014 20:34

Thanks all. Her car is outside and she's on the phone in it so I'm Not Worrying At All.

fluffydressinggown · 30/10/2014 20:36

Hello. I am having a good day so going with it :)

Seen some friends, been off the unit bowling and at home for abit.

Fingers crossed with your friend Caulk x

TheOrchardKeeper · 30/10/2014 20:40

Handholding here too. JUst try and remember that whatever she says and however much she means it, it doesn't make it true Thanks

Victrix · 30/10/2014 20:43

Glad you're having a good day fluffy Smile

Autumnwatch had a power cut so I'm watching the Paul O'Grady dog thing on 3. I want Kahn!

SnowyMouse · 30/10/2014 20:51

That's good to hear, fluffy Smile

I've resolved to go into town tomorrow morning. What's everyone else up to?

CaulkheadUpNorth · 30/10/2014 20:52

Thanks for hand holding. She's come in and told me how she feels about it and how it hasn't changed whilst she had been away and how angry her parents are too (she is 35). Cue a tirade of what she thinks of me.Sad

Just hurts a little bit that I thought before now she was my best friend and the person I was closest to.

TheOrchardKeeper · 30/10/2014 21:26

Seriously though, who in their right mind thinks that people who feel desperate enough to do something like that need a guilt trip on top of that. Maybe when you're well again, just to make it clear how it affected other people. I can understand she's angry and upset. But you're not/weren't well and you didn't do it to be attention seeking, even if it did then grab people's attention. I know a small minority do but going by your other personal thread about all that you're not one of them!

Hope you don't feel too bad Thanks

CaulkheadUpNorth · 30/10/2014 21:31

My hope is that by her telling me she will stop telling everyone else I know what she thinks about it.

I would do anything to not feel this way, and would hate for someone I know to feel like this.

I've got Miranda on on Netflix and it's familiar enough that I don't need to concentrate but can still enjoy it.

TheOrchardKeeper · 30/10/2014 21:35

It's an opinion. Not a fact. And she sounds selfish herself... Hmm

Netflix sounds good.

Hope everyone else is having a good evening Smile

Bought myself a new coat today. Sounds stupid but my social anxiety has been creeping back but I made myself go and try on coats, in the shop, not in the changing rooms, and then go for a coffee alone. Felt shakey but good to break through it a bit. I have a Halloween party tommorow eve. Nervous as hell but it'll be good for me to push myself. and after a few drinks it's not noticable anymore anyway when I'm lucky Grin

CaulkheadUpNorth · 30/10/2014 21:46

Orchard - that's brilliant! Well done. Is it a lovely coat? Did you see one I would have liked?

TheOrchardKeeper · 30/10/2014 21:52

It is thank you Smile Cheered me up a bit. I had an awful frumpy thing I bought on the cheap last year before. Had to sit there doing the 4x4 breathing 'trick' when I was in Costa's. But had a book to skim and managed to keep my cool. Made me feel better about the party.

Seems strange how when you're fine you wouldn't think twice of things like that but they can end up being such hard work when anxiety's set in etc. Feeling like I might be on the mend anyway, so it's looking positive. Scuse the ramble! My friends/family don't quite get how 'big' it is to do stuff like that when all I want to do is hide under my duvet.

On the Wine now though as DS is still at his dads so I'm being really naughty!

Pulledapart · 30/10/2014 21:56

Netflix sounds good caulk and I'm sorry ur friend is being such a jerk. If it's one thing I've learnt through my journey is that I have no tolerance for people like that. Perhaps that's y I don't have many friends now at all Hmm bit id rather only have positive people around me not people that put me down (the voices do enough of that anyway) I think I've become a bitch really in my own way Grin and I don't care either.

Just finished watching Thor. Waiting for iron man 3 to start Grin then I think it'll be bed time x

TheOrchardKeeper · 30/10/2014 22:02

Agree about the friend's Pulled And I don't care either. It's just not worth it Grin. I lost so many last year, as well as making 1 new one (who is as solid as they come) but looking back I'm glad. I hope you'll have the same experience Caulk Smile

Is it bad that I prefer the baddy in Thor (Mr Hiddleston/Loki)? He's got a cheeky grin Blush Hope the curry was good.

CaulkheadUpNorth · 30/10/2014 22:06

Yep totally get the "fine" thing. Often when it's something really normal like picking something in a restaurant or using the train.

TheOrchardKeeper · 30/10/2014 22:09

I find it really hard to make decisions. As tricky as trying to read a license plate in thick fog...

"It's an L. Not it's I. L. Oh fuck it I'm going home" Grin

CaulkheadUpNorth · 30/10/2014 22:15

The amount I times I've half filled a shopping basket and then just put it down and walked out would be close to my hot dinners level.

EnpoTree · 30/10/2014 22:24

I tend to just wallnoutbof these having voitht Rome random shotn- today it was three bottles of.coke zero, two tons onf chickpeas, a loaf of polish vollkotnbtot, and a cucumber!

TheOrchardKeeper · 30/10/2014 22:25

Is that Polish Vodka yu were trying to type Enpo? Wink

EnpoTree · 30/10/2014 22:25

Oh sod. Android's autocorrect is less zealous than ios's.

Victrix · 30/10/2014 22:28

Lack of ability to choose things is a big part of why I now food shop online! I can take as long as I want with a cuppa or glass of something more interesting Grin

It makes Netflix tricky sometimes because there are so many options. I'm enjoying re watching lots of things and reading lots of books again, means if I tune out I don't get lost.

EnpoTree · 30/10/2014 22:28

I assure you, I'm not drunk.

My phone, however...

Let's just say I'm planning to analyse exactly what current it's been ingesting.
