It's my fault that the NHS is too expensive

and I can't do anything about it :(

I am going to tell her about the problem with the prescriptions. I would like to be taking the ads before tomorrow but I've only got an NHS prescription for them :( (which is why I feel she may be cross).

I've been trying to think. I can't go now because I am very cold/yawning etc. Maybe the GP meant I should eat generally (her list from yesterday says have something to eat now). This is when I started to feel light-headed yesterday and couldn't think.

But she also said taking normal doses of diazepam might help, and I only started doing that after I saw her.

Think she asked me too many things to fit into the psych appt tomorrow, and I don't know which are important Confused

Feel so sorry for you snowmash, but you won't be feeling well without food or prescribed drugs.
Pixie's right though, best to eat now, then a small sleep if you can, then a bit of fresh air outside while getting prescriptions, so you can at least start to get yourself on track again. for tomorrow?
Don't worry about which things are important, we're telling you stuff right now, and the psych will no doubt write them down for you tomorrow if you ask. People do want to help.x

snowmash · 17/02/2011 15:37

I've eaten some crisps. I typed what I did because I'm trying to work stuff out in my head (what I should do/do first), not because I want people to feel sorry for me because I'm doing ok. More like the procrastination lists people write.

I think maybe I should concentrate on finding out which buses to get/remembering the way there rather than what to say.

I've had a piece of salmon from the freezer now too (carer came) and I ate it (guilty because it's not mine, like the crisps).

My carer has taken the prescriptions, and I feel very guilty about them.

Looks like I should use my 'work' bus :( (haven't been on there since I stopped going).

I think the big questions are:
i. what can I do about the prescriptions/not using the NHS
ii. Concerned about my GP's thinking

I should see if I can read through the thread again to see if I was talking about anything else.

But then I think the GP was talking about the psych doing an assessment, which doesn't quite make sense because she's just finished doing that, so who knows? Confused Blush

Not really sure what she can assess.

Snowmash please don't not eat because of your bursary. You need to eat. We all do.

snowmash · 17/02/2011 17:08

I've eaten lots today, madmouse (the fish and crisps and a slice of bread). I think the GP wasn't happy about yesterday. It's just very difficult when I know it's not my money to be spending.

Because I'm not sure that she's thinking quite straight.

Snowmash my 3 year old eats more than that in a day! If you can't accept the bursary anymore you'll need to go to the job centre and get ESA - will that really make you feel better? Money is money and food is food.

Your GP wasn't unhappy, just worried for you. I will be thinking about you tomorrow when you see psych - hope it will be a good appointment. Have you managed to sort out the buses?

They've stopped it because they need to hire someone who will actually do work, but the money I already have is either theirs or the government's (benefits etc). I'm already on SDA because I'm 100% disabled (older benefit than IB/ESA).

I didn't mean the GP was unhappy, just that she wasn't making sense in her thinking so I'm concerned for her.

OP posts:
madmouse · 17/02/2011 17:29

snowmash she's making perfect sense - her reaction is in line with what you have told us on here and me by pm and in line with how I hoped she would react.

Oh :( Maybe I should ask the psych if she can explain then, as it doesn't make sense to me at all...

OP posts:
snowmash · 17/02/2011 17:37

That she's thinking differently and I can't reason the logic behind it. And that she was talking about hospital, and I can't reason that either because that's for ill people.

So the psych might think there's something wrong with me too?

Hi Snowmash , hope you re ok today. Glad the GP appt went ok. I think maybe you should ask the psych to explain a bit more tomorrow. Maybe she could write some of it down for you so you dont have to keep trying to remember. Its so hard when you have all these appointments to remember what is said at all of them especially if you are worried.
