This is the new thread to discuss us using fasting to get to our goal weight. Believe it or not but this is the third thread with the first from around 18 months ago!

No I am not at goal yet. I dare not look at what I weighed then as there is a good chance I'm about the same weight now having recently put back on!

Anyway. Now is the time to keep going. To allow for a bit on over Christmas and get a head start for the New Year. 2025 I WILL get to goal!

Anyone else is wearing to join.

My starting weight was probably 12:9 at heaviest. I'm just over 11 stone now and my goal is around 10:3.

Let's go!

Sounds like a good week and it's great to hear that you're happy with your body. It's so nice to have clothes fit well.

I just did a 2 mile walk today. Lunch was pasta and may have a burger for dinner. Also had some dark chocolate at lunchtime. Always have a bit of a dip on a Thursday. Wouldn't be surprised if I've maintained again this week.

Socials all weekend so next Friday will likely be a gain but will do as well as I can Monday-Thursday next week. If I can just keep in the 10's I think I'll be happy.

Good day, been harder today. I’ve done 3 early runs in a row feel so tired and I’ve got mince pies on my mind, will stay strong. Intrigued about weigh in. Feel like it’ll be 10.

that’s great @Smartmove sounds like a good mindset. Hope it’s a good result tomorrow. Your calories have been pretty low again this week.

hope your early week discipline pays off @hollyblueivy and you get a loss. Im
totally with you. By Thursday I feel I need some treats!

9.13 Happy with that. Next weigh in next Friday. See if there is any chance of getting to 9.11. I would be happy with 9.12!
Busy weekend. Just need to keep it under control and be sensible!

Well done @Bubbles44 That's fab.

I'm 11:1:00 today. Bit disappointed with that but we keep going.

It's going to be a heavy weekend and even though I do want to lose weight, this weekend I want to enjoy myself with people close to me more.

I'll probably weigh on Monday to check the damage and encourage me to have a good week to next Friday morning.

Good luck anyone else weighing today. What's the plan for the weekend and going into next week?

@hollyblueivy difficult time of year atm. Maybe a good idea to do that so spur you on for next week

im 9.13 :) quite surprised. Not planning any more loss entering maintenance. Dinner tonight sat and Sunday though!!!

Wow that’s amazing @Smartmove well done! What a great few weeks you’ve had! You must feel great. What are you thinking for your maintenance calories?
i think it’s worked well the Friday weigh in. I would have definitely eaten chocolate last night if I wasn’t committed to weighing in today. I think I’ve been in a bad space with my eating since august. Very restrictive and then crazy weekends so want to get in a better mindset!

I’m not sure! I did a maintence calculator and plugged it in as little excercise and said 1750 to maintain if I don’t do much (but intend on doing my 3-4 a week). But I inevitably eat more at weekends and end up going out and I only drink at weekends too (not every and usually one more day). Plus it’s hard to count when out. And did u have 1 glass of wine or 1.5? So there will be error

im thinking of trying 1500 Monday to Friday. And 2000 at weekends. I’ve been averaging 1400-1500 and loosing 1 a week roughly.

then hope to move to not tracking but that’s a while off! I’ll attempt it next week. But I’m out all weekend

im also expecting I’ll gain over Xmas and maintence as I eat a little more but want to keep below 10.2 really

Had my work do yest. Drank half a bottle of wine. Skipped pudding as too full . I think I had about half the roast but was a bit drunk!!!!
had been good in day with a spinach soup and beans. Yoghurt and fruit. Some nuts before I went out . No work out

today I’m feeling a bit ropey so I had to have some porridge almond butter and blueberries.
lunch is hummus and veg.
pizza tonight . No alcohol

will get back to tracking cals tmrw I think ow I can see this ending badly next week on the scales!!!

Well done both! Chocolate has been creeping in the last few days and I’m out tonight with friends, I will be having a few drinks!
I’m succumbing to chocolate snacks in the evenings again. Very hard this time of year!

Yesterday evening wasn’t great as was out. Same this afternoon. Not a total disaster but chocolate, pizza etc. I have five full days now until weigh in on Friday. Need a good run of it. Would like to be a pound less. It’s going to be hard!

I've been very off track today and yesterday. It's been lovely socialising and spending time with lovely people and enjoying food and drinks but the line really needs to be drawn for a half decent weigh in next Friday.

Tomorrow needs to be no alcohol and no sweet treats. There won't be time for exercise but that's fine as I can do a few days during the week.

going to mega work out and then get super back on it Monday to sat! As I then start my Xmas celebrations with family for a week.
my plan is to not go over 10.2 stone when I weigh myself on the 29th dec . So that’s a 3 pound buffer.
a really stupid time to have entered maintence!

Good day here. Mixed weekend. Not as bad as the last few but quite a bit of chocolate consumed. It’s going to be a hard week avoiding it. Determined to get to Friday weigh in though without a mad chocolate feast!
what’s everyone’s plan with weighing this week/ over Christmas?

I’m weighing sat. Tmrw will send me mad the pizza times 2 and I’ve had more than I usually drink. So will be a lot of water weight there.
im sadly out for dinner again on wed ! So I seriously need to pull back Monday and Tuesday.

aim to weigh under 10 still on sat am. So a maintain / 0.5 pound gain max.

11:3:4 and I deserve every ounce of that!

I ate without a second thought this weekend and consumed much more alcohol than I have in ages. My poor body feels awful today. It was a great weekend but I couldn't do that too often!

I'll try to drink loads of water over the next fee days and really try to get some damage limitation in before the weekend.

Workout done . 30 minutes
1200 cals eaten

same tmrw but will try for 1000 and no workout.

My tummy looks like pizza and wine was eaten all weekend! Am worried I’ll end up gaining this week.

Good day here! No run but lots of steps! Will try and get up in the morning and go. So ready for a break in routine!
Not too much on this week. Lunch Friday but that's after weigh in. Lots of chocolate everywhere so just need to avoid!
Keep going everyone! December is hard!!
