This is the new thread to discuss us using fasting to get to our goal weight. Believe it or not but this is the third thread with the first from around 18 months ago!

No I am not at goal yet. I dare not look at what I weighed then as there is a good chance I'm about the same weight now having recently put back on!

Anyway. Now is the time to keep going. To allow for a bit on over Christmas and get a head start for the New Year. 2025 I WILL get to goal!

Anyone else is wearing to join.

My starting weight was probably 12:9 at heaviest. I'm just over 11 stone now and my goal is around 10:3.

Let's go!

9.11.5 today so another off. Must have been as I’ve passed ovulation I usually bloat a bit then.

another 1.5 to go to my 9.10. I’m still not feeling as good as I do when lighter but must be in head!! Plan is to get to 9.11 in next few days think this bit will take a little longer.

at home with little one. Will try for 1400 as seems to work. Won’t manage gym!

must not self sabotage!!!!

Keep going ladies, we seem to have got over the recent hump and doing a good job of trying.

10:12:8 today only slightly up but not surprised as had a burger with roll for dinner last night. I was going to have it without the roll but couldn’t resist at the last minute. Didn’t have any pudding though. No exercise yesterday as body was aching from gardening and run, so needed the rest. I may go for a 3 miles run later but if not today, then definitely tomorrow with gym on Thursday or Friday or both.

I have a new steel water bottle so going to see how I get in with that today and try to get the water intake back up again.

Glad it's been positive for you both and hope the day is going well.
Definitely feel so much better than last week. I guess hormones or something! I feel the next few weeks will be a struggle with the change in routine etc but just aiming to stay in 9's. Focusing on the odd treat so I'm not being restrictive and then eating too much!

Not the best day. Expect to be up tmrw. Need to stop now!!!! Don’t think any more choc in house (had a bar and extra dinner) ending on 2000! I bordeom ate!
will be up tmrw but can be on it again tmrw. Really want to drop a pound by Sunday!

Aw it's so hard when home to keep to plan. That definitely my downfall! Doesn't sound too disastrous at all though, so im sure by the end of the week you'll get another drop!!

Not sure what kind of day I’ve had, I guess the scales will tell tomorrow but I think broadly ok. I want to be better than that though.

I am thinking of doing proper fasts a couple of times per week but omitting the milk and sugar that I have in my coffee. Hopefully to build up to more, but as a starting point.

Right got my head screwed on. Not sure what I did yest also had a bag of crisps!!!!!
I’m up that 1.5 I’ve lost so that was a good reminder. This is how I will gain all my hard work

1300 day and about to do a good work out !

I contemplate doing adf but enjoy my daily food too much so feel it would be such a challenge. Feel like it would it change things up!

Same weight today! Run done, fast until 4. Hopefully gym tonight if dh not home too late!

Good day but carbs higher than usual but due to an apple and a nectarine and some extra milk but 1300 cals. Short workout.

I’m the same again today. Puzzling. Anyways planning an extra low day today. Am annoyed for the other day I was doing so well!!!!!
I have plans this weekend I need to make sure I don’t drink as can eat healthy if I avoid that!

Good day here! I did have some crisps which I'm not even that into but was within normal cals I think and went to the gym this evening.

School finishes tomorrow. Ready for the break in routine but it makes me nervous all the food situations!

Same again! Not much wiggle room this weekend! Maybe it's a good thing! Feels like my body likes this weight. Will be hard to drop over the holidays but I'm guessing I'll try and just hope my discipline remains strong.
I should be able to mainly stick to plan today and tomorrow but allow myself a treat if it happens.
Sunday I've got a day with DH so will eat and not care too much as I've booked somewhere nice and it's rare to have kid free day together!
Hope it's a good weigh in for you both and not too much of a challenging weekend ahead!

10:11:2 today whoop whoop - Hooing to get to 10:10 by next Friday but not putting any pressure on myself as that seems to mess with my head a bit.

No exercise this week, mountain of dinner, pudding and a couple of wines. I feel so stuffed. Why oh why did I do that. May avoid the scales tomorrow.

How did last night go @Smartmove hope you had the best time.

Very mixed weekend for me as I knew it would be. Amazing meal today which was worth every calorie! In work all week so should get nice long fasts in and hope to get the bloat off asap.

hi @Bubbles44 it was absolutely incredible thanks! I hope they tour more so u can get chance too. Was very nostalgic and I felt 14 again! Haha

food wise - I’ve not weighed all weekend. Prob eaten over maintence as went for dinner pre gig and had 1 drink. Then tired today and had dinner out as felt like it (no drinks or pudding). Also no workouts.

so expecting a gain tmrw. But planning on a super good week before I go away for weekend. I’m not sure I’ll ever see 9.10 ever again!!!!
