This is the new thread to discuss us using fasting to get to our goal weight. Believe it or not but this is the third thread with the first from around 18 months ago!

No I am not at goal yet. I dare not look at what I weighed then as there is a good chance I'm about the same weight now having recently put back on!

Anyway. Now is the time to keep going. To allow for a bit on over Christmas and get a head start for the New Year. 2025 I WILL get to goal!

Anyone else is wearing to join.

My starting weight was probably 12:9 at heaviest. I'm just over 11 stone now and my goal is around 10:3.

Let's go!

Yes I feel very bloated too. Definitely up for a good week. Run done!! Gym later, fast until 5!

Oasis and special dinner sounds lovely, I also indulged a little on each day of the weekend so feeling the effect of it today.

Had an avocado bagel for lunch. A cup of tea and one squash. Feel hungry so will have an early (for me) dinner when I get back from a run. Really really cannot be bothered to run but going to head out and just go as slowly as I like until I’m back. Aiming for 3 miles.

Good day here. Will go to the gym shortly too. Aim is to stay around 9.12 although would love to get to 9.10 before holiday which is the last week in August.

Strangely that run yesterday was my best pace since starting back running. (Still very slow!) I think I just wanted to get back.

10:12:1 today - hopefully drop a little more tomorrow.

about 1500 but a good 40 min workout
not gonna weigh and really try for 2 days of 1000 coz feel all flabby!

Strange day yesterday stressful day at work so I ended up eating chocolate in work which i never would usually do! Then out in the evening! Not great. Not weighed!

I’m sadly 9.12.5 think my weekends r catching up with me! Only dropped half yest maintence day prob not great
going to do my workout now and go for 1200 today and tmrw. I’m away over weekend so be another eating out of routine one!!!

10:12:6 today

Did another run yesterday so doing well on the exercise. I did have a big portion of stir fry for dinner last night which is why I dont think I got a drop.

I can sense that I’m being affected by the scales so going to take the pressure off and not weigh for a week or two.

I may even allow a week of more treats whilst not weighing and hope to come back with a renewed sense of motivation. I will still exercise and not planning on going too mad with the food and drinks, but can feel that I need a break.

Another maintence day
af arrived which is prob why I feel bloated and so hungry!!! Just couldn’t do lower than 1600. I did a workout though
i I ate well but had 4 celebration chocs and a protein bar which pushed my 1300 to 1600 waaaaaa
nit expecting any major to happen on scales tmrw!

We done on another run @hollyblueivy. I know what you mean about scales, it's so defeating sometimes. I would like to not weigh but I fear it too much. But enjoy a break from obsessing and enjoy some nice treats without thinking about scales!

Sounds like a good week @Smartmove and fairly low cals. Hope you get a nice surprise. Do you go away Saturday? Will it be an indulgent weekend or in your control?

Good day today. Not loads on over the weekend but need better self control, seem to be giving in at the first whiff of chocolate at the moment.

im 9.11.5 so would like this half off before i go away tmrw. We seeing family but a lot of them dont drink so think at least it will be alcohol free as i should be able to withhold but think it will be filled with pudding caloies

i seem to be making it back to 9.11 most Fridays only to gain at weekend and then back to 9.11 on Friday. Would like a clear weekend to get back to 9.10 and maintain that but just not happening. We away again the weekend after at c parks! Which is at least self catering

I think I need to get back to just twice a week weighing . I weighed in ok today so have gone and had an icecream and loads of bread tonight!!!!!! Why do I do that! Now I won’t have made 9.11 tmrw which I might have!!!!!!

I think Monday weigh in after weekend so remind me to behave as I never like what I see, then just focussing on good nourishing food and not weighing until Friday/Sat when I have plans and prob going to eat more anyways rather than just self sabotaging at home for no reason on rubbish like bread!!!!!

Will attempt this this week.
weigh Monday and Friday . Af done too so hopefully manage better next week to have slightly lower cals

I feel the same @Smartmove I ended up having a bad day yesterday. Feel so annoyed today as it was for absolutely no reason! Not sure why I'm so stop, start at the moment! I'm falling into the trap of one bad thing and then the f it button is pressed. Think the overwhelm of no routine, different plans ahhh!!
I'm just going to try again today and hope it sticks.

I’m still weighed!!! I didn’t want to but couldn’t not. It may take a bit of getting used to.

10:12:1 - I’m kind of maintaining around this at the moment.

Take two trying to steer away from scales.

The holidays are not easy. Even working at home with people in the house gets me stressed and that is what makes me feel more like I need to treat for getting through the day!

Yes have switched off too. Not going crazy but eating as I please and maybe a bit too much
will be back on Monday with only 2 weigh in allowed a week
monday and Thursday ! Monday is to remind myself to behave and Thursday is my actual weight after weekend bloat off

I’m going away again next Friday self catering so planning on staying on plan. I’m off with my son next week so planning a LOT of gym too!

So I've done lots of exercise this weekend but allowed (too many) treats and relaxed. I've got a nice day planned tomorrow so going to enjoy that and then get back to it on Tuesday. Thinking I'll weigh Friday. Will be hard but need to get back on it so I feel good for holiday!

Hi girls
how is everyone! It’s so hard atm out of routine and day trips and all sorts going on!
move realised I have zero willpower in social sittings and that’s where my issue is. So I did drink this weekend - not loads but prob 2 glasses of wine each night. And I had pudding

weighing 10 stone. I seem to be in the 9.12-10 stone range but struggle to get lower . Will keep trying.

next weigh in on Friday then we away for a long weekend ! I am going to try be good but will be family time food and sun!
