This is the new thread to discuss us using fasting to get to our goal weight. Believe it or not but this is the third thread with the first from around 18 months ago!

No I am not at goal yet. I dare not look at what I weighed then as there is a good chance I'm about the same weight now having recently put back on!

Anyway. Now is the time to keep going. To allow for a bit on over Christmas and get a head start for the New Year. 2025 I WILL get to goal!

Anyone else is wearing to join.

My starting weight was probably 12:9 at heaviest. I'm just over 11 stone now and my goal is around 10:3.

Let's go!

Morning girls! Sorry I am here just had such a hectic 2 weeks! Bday then guests over work been busy and then we all had a cold!

anyways I’ve been fairly ok. Gym has continued (hoping work out today) and been doing 1400ish cals to slowly remove all the weekends bloat

im 9.12 today so 2 over my
lowest. Hoping to be back there for next week .

plan is to be good today and work out
have one meal out over weekend but no drinks planned

@hollyblueivy glaf to hear ur mum ok and well done for getting that weight off and getting to the gym

@Bubbles44 well done keep going u be back to 9.10! That last pound or two is a right pain though isn’t it!! Have y many weekend plans

Weekend been about 10000000 cals!!!
tmrw will be good about to plan a week of 1200 am concerned im never going to get back to 9.10 !!! I think i need a few weekends with nothing on to do that

I’ve had take away tonight. Was stuffed. Still went straight out to get some dark chocolate almost immediately after.

Woke up feeling so annoyed with myself. It was great last Monday knowing I'd had a good weekend! Just ate lots yesterday for no reason! So, although I know in reality it's one day, just feels like I'm starting over again. I'll struggle all week to get back to where I was!

Will have a good day today, try and get rid of as much of the bloat from yesterday as possible.

Hope you're both feeling ok.

Catching up from Friday, glad your mum is doing well @hollyblueivy sounds a hard time but hope she is doing as best as she can.

Try not to feel too annoyed with yourself @Bubbles44I do think weekends are the time to have a few of the things you may not have during the week. Your consistency is absolutely on point and if you take this one day in the perspective of the last month or so, you’ve really been on it. It shouldn’t take too long to get back to where you want to be.

I don’t feel any guilt at all from my take away. It’s what separates the week from the weekends sometimes and I want this to fit into my lifestyle, eating out and a weekend take away is a part of my lifestyle so it’s ok for me.

I won’t be going anywhere near the scales today though!

Yes I agree! I think it's just when I go into binge mode and I'm eating because I'll start again tomorrow. It's definitely less that I do that these days, just frustrating. But today is a new day and I've been for a run and will go to the gym in a bit.
Glad you enjoyed your take away. Yes definitely didn't weigh today either. Maybe Tuesday? What day are you guys thinking?

Hi girls

also woke up thinking oops! But I had a nice time. We went for a family dinner and after a glass of wine I decided a whole pudding and some chocs when we got home was ok. Oops. I was good before and after it and did my workout but I must have had over 2000 cals

today however is a good day. Intense work out
yoghurt berries
chicken egg salad
home made curry with cauliflower rice
apple snack at 3pm
be 1100 cals.

i will do the same all week as thats what im going to need to do for the next while to get back to 9.10.

am weighing tmrw to remind me how easy it is to go up! Am not looking fwd to it :/

Good day, I did have a twirl but still quite low calories. Would love to not weigh until Friday but not sure I can wait that long.

I think if I could have a day at the weekend I can relax and have some treats but I could be back to 9.11 on the Tuesday I could be happy with that! We'll see though!

im full and satisfied

will go for similar ideally less tmrw though . Will also do a workout.

I also playing with idea of doing weight on Tuesday instead when some bloat is off and so I don’t go into panic mode!!!! I know I’ll be up near ten I can feel it !!!!!! Eeeekkkkkk

Oh dear I forgot to cal count some stuff today so ended up on 1700 which is prob over maintence! Was feeling quite satisfied all day!!!!! Had some choc as thought I had cals but forgot about my apple and lattee

anyways that’s that. Will weigh tmtw

Hope your weigh ins go well! Yep maintenance is hard! Just constantly gaining a losing the same pounds and feeling guilty!!

How has the week been for both of you, hope you’ve managed to get to 9:11.

Not sure what’s happened here but I’m 10:13:7 today, too close to 11 stone for my liking and the wrong direction! That’s 4.5lb I want to lose now to get to 10:9.

i have had a couple of small dark choc bars, a pint and I did have burger for dinner yesterday. I clearly need to keep a lid on things this weekend as I may spiral if I see the 11 on the scale!

No gym this week but did a run and will do another over the weekend. May get to the gym today if the heat doesn’t zap ally energy before I finish work.

I had wanted a few drinks this weekend as not done that for a while, but not sure I’ll be able to now.

Hoping it is a blip so may also weigh tomorrow to see what’s going on.

Happy Friday, another week has passed us by.

Ah sorry it wasn't a great weigh in @hollyblueivy hopefully you'll get it under control in no time and probably just some water weight. Hope it's not too tricky with it being the weekend!

9.11 here. Not much on this weekend so should hopefully go to plan. Running, and hopefully a couple of gym sessions and try and stay away from sugar!

How did your week go @Smartmove hope you dropped ahead of your weekend away!

Well done getting to 9:11 that’s great.

I went to the gym yesterday and actually did a 10k run this morning. So pleased with that!

Didn’t weigh as was trying to get out the door before it got too hot to run.

I'm really struggling. Ended up eating out on Sunday and don't feel like I've got back into the swing of things since. Not feeling 100% so struggling to exercise. Hoping for a Better day today. Not weighed this week as don't want to know for now.

Ahh frustrating isn't it. I've got no motivation to get back into it. Keep thinking I'll wake up and be back on it. Maybe weighing is the only option.

Glad you feel like you’ve got over the hump. Well done on your run, you must clock up quite a few miles in a week.

I was 11:0:3 today so if I can eat as light as possible, avoid carbs and drink water, I should be able to get back in the 10’s tomorrow. Will also hopefully encourage me to have a sensible weekend. I’m going to daily weigh as I need to keep a check on what’s going on.

I will go for a run later and go to the gym tomorrow as I haven’t done any exercise this week, steps have been low too.

I am feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment so will try not to be too hard on myself.
