I've over indulged this weekend - no fruit or veg and feeling bloated and heavy. Will see out the bank holiday weekend and weigh early next week - getting back on track.

Need to work on getting to goal to focus on maintenance.

Hope your weekends are going well.

You're both doing so well.

No exercise and low steps today. Lunch and dinner ok but had some ice cream for pudding.

Not feeling ready to weigh yet hope I'll be ready by Friday but not expecting a loss. If I have maintained then I'll take it. Will try to have a good day tomorrow and will really try to get to the gym.

Ok day here so far

Babybel times 2 brekkie (forgot it and all I had)
some left over noodles for lunch and dark choc

satsuma cashews and a few spoons of my sons soup

going for dinner today so that’s always my downfall! But going for grilled chicken and salad but am planning some fizz!

will be super Good Friday with hope Sat sees a drop

Bubbles44 · 07/11/2024 18:17

Enjoy your meal @Smartmove

Hope it’s been a better day and you get at least a maintain tomorrow @hollyblueivy

Good day here, early run and lots of steps. 5th day without sugar. Really craved it. Ideally won’t have any this weekend but lots of obstacles in the way. Not made any rules about how I’ll approach it. Just a minute by minute approach I guess and try not feel guilty if I eat birthday cake! Will weigh tomorrow. Would love to be in the 9’s !

Smartmove · 08/11/2024 07:08

Are sensibly with one glass of wine. But feeling bloated today . Not weighed and worried about tmrw - I get nervous re weigh in now it’s moved to weekly!!!!

today I’ll be super on plan and try drop my cals to compensate a little. Hope for 10.2 in am (but I feel like I won’t have)

Bubbles44 · 08/11/2024 07:27

9.13. Fully aware that even the slightest blip will put me straight back up. Thinking I’ll next weigh on Wednesday where I’d like to be 9.12, if I have a bit of cake etc it won’t be the end of the world if straight back on it!

Run done, hope it’s a good day for us all!

hollyblueivy · 08/11/2024 08:19

Well done for getting back in the 9s - does that one pound make all the difference as it's a different stone bracket? You're doing great.

Good job sticking ti just the one glass of wine and fingers crossed for a decent weigh tomorrow.

I really don't know what I've been doing this week. No plan, not much consideration, barely any movement. It's hard to switch back. I think that's why consistency is key, as if you just keep going even if there are minor imperfections then you don't have to go through this trouble of getting back on track. Lesson learned which I'll no doubt make again!

Anyway I have stayed the same this week at 11:2:00

Aim for next Friday will be 3lb off as I need to be back in the 10s now so 10:13 please!!!!

OP posts:
hollyblueivy · 08/11/2024 16:59

Have socials over the weekend so will make a good choice where I can but I may end up with a gain from the weekend. Will stay away from the scales until next Friday and do all the damage limitation from Monday.

OP posts:
Smartmove · 08/11/2024 18:00

Maybe wearing some tight jeans over weekend @hollyblueivy might remind u! I find that a good way to get back in the swing off things

I’m ending on 1300 again . Average this week 1400 which is not as good as last week but still lower than my maintence according to calculators. I’ve done gym twice this week and intend on doing sat and Sunday too . Unsure if tmrw will see a loss or STS. I def not think I’ve gained and feel like my weekend bloat is gone. Fingers crossed

Smartmove · 08/11/2024 18:01

@Bubbles44 great ur back in the 9s. Bdays at home are so hard and cake is my fav thing ever!!!! I would struggle but maybe allow ur self a large piece a day so u don’t feel deprived? Rather than what I would do

say none

and eat 20 pieces the next day!

Smartmove · 09/11/2024 07:28

10.3 again
thought as much be last weekends eating

tighten up and get to 10.2 next Friday

Smartmove · 09/11/2024 07:35

Though I’ve been good all week
so it’s quite depressing to think this is what I have to do to maintain a week!!!!!!!!!!!!

hollyblueivy · 09/11/2024 09:47

10:3 is a great weight, you must feel fantastic! Considering I'm around a stone heavier I'd take your weight any day!

I guess this is the difference when you daily weigh as you would know if you ended up lighter than that at any point during the week. The opposite is unfortunately also true if you see a heavier weight, which is what annoys me most, so think overall the weekly weigh is a good idea to get a sense of where we are.

Are you going for 1lb off by next Friday?

OP posts:
hollyblueivy · 09/11/2024 09:48

Tight jeans ha love that idea!

OP posts:
Smartmove · 09/11/2024 10:14

well I mean I want to say 2 off before Friday as have little plans this weekend but I think I at this weight 2 is a bit ambitious so yes 1

I feel slimmer for sure and people have commented. I hit this weight in summer but then slowly gained a few pounds.

gym done - weights and pelaton
1200 cals today.
weighing next Friday (agree maybe I was lower but won’t have been hugely lower and I was good yest so hoping today was accurate weight I really didn’t watch what I ate last weeekend at family’s which is to blame)

Smartmove · 09/11/2024 15:58

Eggs on low carb bread
milky coffee and a small piece of dark choc
avocado and chicken
home made chicken curry for dinner
gym done

but wine calling my name!!!!! May have one glass :/

Smartmove · 09/11/2024 18:03

Closing kitchen! 1400 cals and did a work out so really should still loose on that. I had 3 pieces of dark choc and 125ml of wine which brought it over my planned amount.

tmrw I’ve planned 1000. Fingers crossed!

Bubbles44 · 09/11/2024 21:30

That’s not bad at all @Smartmove Well done. Keep doing as well as you are and as consistently and I'm sure you’ll get a drop next week. Well done for doing so well over the weekend.
Hope you managed some control @hollyblueivy although easier said than done!
So far, this weekend has been mixed. Lots of running, walking, long fasts. But lots and lots of chocolate in my window. Could be worse, but could be so much better.
plan is to weigh on Wednesday to try and get a maintain from Friday after super strict Monday and Tuesday and then weigh on Friday see if I can get a loss. Definitely need to tighten up over weekends. Fed up of chocolate and it’s not even December yet!

Smartmove · 10/11/2024 07:27

I had some more dark choc! And half a snickers in the end so ended on 1700

back to it today. 1000 day required

Smartmove · 10/11/2024 08:09

@Bubbles44 i think not having it in house is best but we have non dark in house atm coz of Halloween! Its so hard when its there staring u in the face

hollyblueivy · 10/11/2024 20:54

Not much positives to report from the weekend so I'll focus on the plan for the week ahead.

Mon - Fri aim is to get to 10:13 which is 3lb off excluding any damage from this weekend.

I know that I will have moments of feeling hungry this week and I want to work on letting that pass rather than giving in so easily to it. I'll have tea coffee water and squash to try to fill the gap.

I want to work out at least three times likely to be Mon / Wed / Thurs but can be flexible. I want steps to be above 8k per day too.

Food wise I'm thinking of fasting until lunch and having high protein low carb type meals. Bulked out with fruit and yogurt if needed.

Dinner will be meat and veg with low / no carb.

That sounds about right for a plan and I really hope I'm able to have a good week to kick start.

You ladies have been doing great. I may bore you with checking in more frequently this week!

OP posts:
Smartmove · 10/11/2024 21:41

sounds like a fab plan @hollyblueivy dont be hard on urself if takes a day to get into full swing. When ur mind is on it u can totally do it!!!

good day here 900 cals to counteract yest!
am home tmrw so need to not boredom eat which is def a problem of mine!

my aim is 10.2 on Friday - then am out for drinks that night and have a busy weeekend
sighhhhhh

Bubbles44 · 11/11/2024 07:34

Well done on a good weekend @Smartmove such an achievement!! Hope it pays off this week!
ah it’s hard isn’t it @hollyblueivy i feel so stop start with it all at the moment. I guess that’s just life though! Sounds a good plan!

I’ve got the usual Monday morning guilt for eating too much sugar. Been for my run. Will have a good week. Scared to weigh on Wednesday. No chance of a maintain from Friday. No plans next weekend so need a plan to not have treats!

Smartmove · 11/11/2024 14:49

Gym done
should be on 1000 cals today . Really need that 10.2 on Friday as then have a busy weekend and no doubt put on some water pounds!!!

Smartmove · 11/11/2024 14:50

Don’t feel guilty @Bubbles44 it was a family bday! Be odd if u had none - just leave it in past and be good this week. Good luck for wed. Am tempted to weigh on wed too….might be naughty and do it
still feel like I’ve STS tbh….

hollyblueivy · 11/11/2024 15:22

Soup for lunch and just getting to the gym. So far so good!
