Right so I got down to 13 stone 3 last year, and now am 14 stone 5. So annoyed with myself.

I am away on a holiday 24th April and want to lose a stone in 4 weeks through Fast800. I know I can do it but need that kick up the bum to start.

So am going to weigh in and post everyday for 4 weeks.

CW: 14 stone 5
GW: 13stone 5

Today I will have -
Black coffee x 2
1 cup of Bovril - 22 calories
1 Babybel - 50 calories
1:30pm - 2 eggs 2 slices bacon = 240 calories
Prawn curry, cauliflower rice, green bean, broccoli and cauli = 500 calories

And we're off!

Morning all - end of week 1 for me.

SW: 14.7.8
CW: 14.2.9

Really happy as this is lowest I’ve been this year. Really want to push hard this week and see 13st something!

I actually haven’t been doing as few cals as I intended - probably averaging around 1300. I have had dark choc most days and a little done this weekend. Biggest change has been lower carbs (though I had a couple of roasties yesterday) and not snacking.

This week I want to up the exercise too.

Today:
fage / berries / nuts
chicken / salad
pork stir fry (veg only)

@HurryupHenry for a family birthday, 1377 is amazing! So much temptation I imagine. You did really well there.

Today's plan - lots of black coffee/weak juice to keep me going until 5pm when I end my fast (22 hours) then the chicken/bacon/prawn thingy I made yesterday with stirfry.
Fage/strawbs and seeds after. And a good long walk!

Hopefully that will give a boost for the last 3 pounds to start shifting 😂

So no change for me this week.

Not surprising it's been a tough busy week and the rest of my Easter egg and some of the lemon drizzle cake I made have been calling to me!

They say stress makes it harder to lose weight. I will try for a better week.

My food today -

3 keto cookies 375? Not sure as home-made
Ham and walnuts 100
Chicken/prawn stir fry 400
Fage/berries/ seeds 200
Total 1075

Loads of black coffee and 4 litres of juice

So above what I should have had, but still better than it could have been 😂

I think I will end on 10k by the time I stagger into bed!

Stayed the same today so CW 12:8.4 and 6.4lbs to interim goal weight of 12: 2 by 12th May. Looking a challenge but hope to get close!

Plan for today:
2.5m walk to office
800 calories + coffees
Salad and yogurt for lunch
Fage/berries/banana & 25g of nuts this evening
HIIT class

A gain for me this morning too. I knew I wouldn’t crack the 14.3 barrier so easily!

Today have had protein pancakes with fage and berries. Now planning a home made curry with veg.

Then going dancing - hopefully will get a few steps in!

Half a pound off for me today and finishing the day of 847 calories. I haven’t moved enough today but I’m shattered!

@Whatonearth2021 makes you wonder what on earth our bodies want doesnt it!! 800 - 1000 calories, 10k steps, enough water to sink a small boat... the weight should be falling off 😡but on we go 😀

Today was a bit of a challenge - I said before that my "trigger" to self sabotage is seeing a gain after sticking to it, and then giving up. I REALLY wanted a huge bar of Cadbury's Caramel after my 2lb gain. But I resisted. However I have allowed myself to go well over the calories, hoping that it would either boost my metabolism and/or help me go to the loo (sorry - TMI again!)
But honestly - 5days, loads of veg, flaxseed, chia seeds, black coffees galore, litres of water/juice, exercise... and still nothing. Even taken Ducolax last 2 nights...nada. Fed up, so I have added oats, dark chocolate and nuts to my food today in the hope they help.

So today -

Gluten free porridge with dark chocolate
Walnuts
Salmon
Egg-fried rice
Broc/ cauli
Dark choc and peanut butter
2 x Nick's choc bars
Strawberries.

So a varied day! But I am pleased I didnt indulge in as bad stuff as I could have.

Dreading weigh in tomorrow though 😂

So yesterday two colleagues noticed I was looking trimmer. I have made no secret that I am exercising more and trying to healthy so I think they felt safe to comment.

Small loss today as well:

CW 12:7.8

Todays plan
2.5m walk to the office
No other exercise today- rest day
Food same as yesterday

Another half a pound down although that does take me to 6kg down since starting on the 8th. Another 2kg to my first goal.

I need to focus on movement as the food is going well.

Looking at the overall picture though - still 8lbs in 3 weeks. Doubt I will make the stone though as Sunday/Monday will realistically be my last weigh in due to family commitments before I go on holiday.

But still working towards it for sure!

Fasting until mid pm then some ham/cheese
500 calorie tea
Fage and seeds

Coffee/weak juice and 10k steps

Definiteky Need to move more - I think that would be a game changer for me. Work is a real obstacle there.

Fajitas minus the wraps

At least 7500 steps

Have been so busy these last few weeks I feel as though I'm meeting myself coming back! Been reading all your updates though, you all keep me motivated.

I have been sticking to 1200/1300 cals per day and I cannot seem to shake off 14st 5!
Been too busy to find time to walk at lunchtimes or in the evenings but hopefully work should ease up in the next week or so.

I need to get my cals down - I know this but it's so hard!

Oh well will keep plodding on and will up the exercise as soon as I can and see what happens.
I'm in London next Friday for the weekend so that won't be low in cals (hello champagne and Mexican food) but I'm not skimping on fun while I'm away with my best friend. No way.

Been job interviewing and dealing with a poorly child so it's been extra hectic here. Probably eaten a bit more as a result and no exercise at all today due to being housebound.

Target for end of this month - 11st or just under.

Today:

Breakfast: 1 mug of tea with 1/2 sugar
Small bowl of granola, blueberries and yoghurt

Lunch:
Leftover wheat crunchies from my DS
Small piece of peanut butter toast
cup of tea with half a sugar and milk

Dinner:
Duck leg
Green beans
Some small salad potatoes

4 squares of chocolate 🍫

Lots of water

Exercise:
None! Need to walk to work tomorrow and back.

The pancake recipe:

whisk together 2 eggs, scoop of vanilla protein powder, 150g fage 5% yoghurt (assume you can use any - this is what I have). Cook in spray of olive oil like a pancake. Top with more yoghurt and some frozen berries warmed in microwave so they are all runny. Honestly it’s so yum. And I got the recipe by asking chat GPT “flourless pancakes that are high in protein”!!

So -1.2 since yesterday which I am surprised at but happy to see.

Eating 800-1000 calories a day is leading to a good 2lbs weight loss per week so I am hoping that I will maintain on around 2000.

That said if I eat double what I am eating now that still doesn't seem that much and I am more than capable of eating much more!
Hence why I'm here in the first place..

Plan for today
2.5m walk to work
800-1000 calories
HIIT class this evening

@Alainlechat I couldn’t agree more - I could eat double without thinking about it!

Today I had a STS - and I think I need to admit that my technique so far of veering up to 1200-1300 cals is not going to work as I haven’t had real loss for 3 days. At the same time I don’t want to go lower than I need to. So will aim for 1000 today and more steps and see where it takes me.

This weight has been a sticking point and this kind of makes me think “what’s the point” and go all defeatist so I’m so glad to have joined this group to keep me motivated!
