@hollyblueivy I guess I’ve just been properly on it the last 4days. Even the weekend wasn’t crazy. Just Friday night. But Saturday I had cake but instead of dinner.
I’ve not got many plans either. My mindset is good at the moment so hopefully nothing will get in the way as no social plans. Also, going to try and avoid sugar until holiday. That makes me feel so much better.

I know it’s frustrating when your head isn’t in gear, it will switch soon I’m sure. Just keep going. It’s all we can do.

Great@Smartmove about your weight coming down. Hopefully you’ll be in such a rhythm by next weekend, you’ll enjoy have a few treats and jump straight back into it!

Smartmove · 16/05/2024 16:45

Not best day today but also not worst!

no steps done as in work all day and still here
but on 1500 cals which I do not loose on. It’s also not horrific either is it! So may not be 10.5 tmrw but hopefully won’t have gained any water weight

just need to make sure I don’t eat anything else coz I’m in one of those moods to eat some/a lot of sugar!

hollyblueivy · 16/05/2024 19:14

Could you have a massive glass of squash to fill and have a bit of sweetness?

About 2k steps here, I've been a sloth!

Lunch was omelette with one slice toast and got salmon and potatoes for dinner.

Oh had a small packet of pretzels too.

Average day.

Luckily it’s passed @hollyblueivy
ive brushed my teeth and nothing is going to pass my lips :)

Bubbles44 · 17/05/2024 06:56

Well done @Smartmove for not caving. Bet you feel good this morning.

@hollyblueivy you aren’t going crazy which is the best thing. Keep going!

9.10! Feel likes it’s been a really good week. Today will be hard, not in work so I’ll probably end up breaking my fast a lot earlier. I find it Harder not to over eat when I have a long window but will get it done today. Been for a run and should get lots more steps. Feeling positive for the weekend. Hopefully not the dreaded Monday weigh in. Chasing 9.9 next week!

Good luck!

Smartmove · 17/05/2024 07:06

Wow well done @Bubbles44

10.5.5 today. So not quite there but nearly! Weekend always harder but hopefully there soon as no plans!

am not surprised as I ate a bit too much yest!!

hollyblueivy · 17/05/2024 07:29

Awesome weeks for you both!

Well done on your nice and early run - I wish I could be an early morning exerciser!

10:12:1 for me today which is broadly a maintain from last Friday. Still going for that elusive 10:10:00 so 2lb off by next Friday.

Will go to the gym today and get a decent session in.

With no real weekend plans I should be able to manage not going overboard. Will try to be mindful of everything I eat and drink, but I know I'm not as good on the weekend as I am during the week.

I may also need to consider a decent clean fast next week but will think about that more on Monday.

Have a great Friday.

@hollyblueivy good plan. U did get to 10.7 a few months back if I rem after a clean fast so you can do it if u want to give it a go! I couldn’t manage! I get so hangry!!!!

breaking fast now
milk in coffee
yoghurt pecans passion fruit
feta salad
bbq chicken and veg
had a text from school mum to have a drink after pick up :/ may allow myself 1 as have PT today and will get my steps in .

Smartmove · 17/05/2024 14:30

Been on plan
should end on 1300 including 1 glass of wine….done a good hour workout too….hopefully 10.5 tmrw. Must remind myself of that when I want another drink!

Bubbles44 · 17/05/2024 17:11

That’s great @Smartmove that you are back where you were. Enjoy your afternoon!

@hollyblueivy that’s great. Maintain when you feel like you aren’t properly in the zone. You’re Definitely in control which is the hard bit.

Goodish day here. Broke at 10.30 had the usual fruit and nuts. Just had veg curry and Greek yogurt and now closed. 25K steps. Good for a Friday considering the last few! I’ve eaten more than usual today but just fruit and nuts nothing bad.
Not sure if I’ll weigh or not in the morning. Hope I can keep the momentum going over the weekend!

hollyblueivy · 18/05/2024 09:08

Great steps yesterday @Bubbles44 - I did a decent gym session, mostly weights and ended on about 8k steps.

@Smartmove I hope you enjoyed your glass of wine! - I didn't have a drink yesterday but wondering whether I'll have a couple either today or tomorrow. Depends on where the weekend takes me.

10:11:7 for me today with no real food, drink or exercise plan for the weekend. Just a bit of mindfulness around wanting 10:10:00 next Friday.

With bank holiday and half term coming up I know next week will have to be good as the week after will be out of usual routine.

9.10 again. Just been for 10K. Going to take kids on a big walk this morning to keep busy and out of the house!

Sounds like you’re in a great mindset @hollyblueivy not obsessing about everything but staying on track.

Yes I’m so aware of half term too and the break in routine. Especially with holiday. But we just need to do the best we can I guess and hope our heads are in the right place. Finally feel like I’m getting to where I was before Christmas. Can not destroy the hard work!

Have a great Saturday!

Smartmove · 18/05/2024 09:38

I had 2 glasses! Which then meant I had icecream and toast! fFS! Drinking makes me hungry

anyways am skipping brekkie today and hoping for an ultra low cal 800 day which if I drink lots of water is doable.

will weigh in Monday. Want to be 10.5 and then have the week to get to 10.4

same @hollyblueivy its Bh and holidays for the kids and if I don’t pull back this week it’s going to be difficult. Plan this week is ultra low carb and continue to excercise

hollyblueivy · 18/05/2024 17:48

@Smartmove good plan for the week think I'll do the same.

Today I've had scrambled eggs on two slices toast with tomato, half bottle Prosecco, ice cream and a biscuit. Curry for dinner with naan and rice so fully expect a gain tomorrow. I think having these treats on a Saturday are good though in a way as they help me stay on track (mostly) during the week. It's getting g the balance of having treats without completely undoing the whole weeks work.

I'm thinking about having an early night tonight to get up early tomorrow and have a decent run. Hoping that writing it down will make it more likely to happen.

Hope your Saturday is going well.

Weight has stayed the same
6 week countdown for holiday on Monday

How are you all. . X

Smartmove · 18/05/2024 18:37

Good day today here
had my shake
babybel for a snack
ended up in Wagamama but salmon salad bowl
coming in at 1100 and 30g carbs
will weigh Monday .

Bubbles44 · 19/05/2024 06:49

Wishing you so much luck in the Half marathon @jelly79 especially in the heat. Such an achievement!

9.10 here. Flicked between 9.9 and 9.10. Such a good day yesterday was hoping it would be 9.9, it’ll be the next couple of days hopefully. Feeling so on it still. Why is it sometimes so easy and sometimes so impossible. Just hope it continues until holiday!

Sounds like pretty good weekends all round! Enjoy a lovely sunny Sunday.

hollyblueivy · 19/05/2024 11:06

Good luck today @jelly79

Take it steady in there heat and enjoy it!

10:12:6 - going to try and have a good day today

Smartmove · 19/05/2024 18:04

Good luck @jelly79 how did it go??

im a bit annoyed at myself. Eaten too much this weekend. Not gone crazy but a bit here and a bit there it’s ended up being maintence cals or maybe a bit over. Prob won’t be 10.5 tmrw but will weigh and then a week off weighing and just focusing on eating well

I did 30 min pelaton today at least

Smartmove · 19/05/2024 18:31

Right I’m going to meal plan my week. Unless I’m really on it I won’t make 10.4 or close on sat am which is my aim for this week.

first step is hiding the dark choc in the house which I have nibbled on this weekend!

hollyblueivy · 19/05/2024 21:14

Yeah the day didn't go as well as originally intended.

Will see what scales say tomorrow and the theme of the week is to get that 10:10:00 !!!!!

OP posts:
jelly79 · 19/05/2024 21:47

Girls I am absolutely knackered.

It's was hot! I fell over, blistered under my boobs and left it too long to eat! I am spent.

But I've done it!!!

Just got everything ready for my DS birthday tomorrow and got in to bed!

Bubbles44 · 20/05/2024 06:37

Wow, well done @jelly79 . sounds exhausting but amazing that you completed it. Hope you can move this morning and DS isn’t up too early.

9.9 happy to see that. I’ve eaten no sugar since last Saturday which is a massive win for me. Not craved it either so need to keep that up. Week and a half until hols. See if I can get another pounds off.

Hope it’s goes well this morning @Smartmove and @hollyblueivy . 5 days of routine before it all goes out of the window. Hope we can all have a good week!

Smartmove · 20/05/2024 07:01

Amazing well done @jelly79 hope u feeling good this am!!!

@Bubbles44 anazing. Well done! U r nearly there. :)

im 10.6.5 which is disappointing. I really find weekends though I was good but had the odd bit of treats here and there from the kids. I have to really have zero extra pass my mouth to drop

anyway I’m not weighing this week after tmrw. And I’m sure if I stick to a calorie deficit have no sugar and keep up the excercise I’ll drop some weight by sat.

am going to have a very good week!!!
