Sorry for silence I am miserable with sore back and arm! Rested from exercise this morning but will get out for a walk today!

Weighed in at 10s 4 which I am over the moon about and thinking 5 may be possible over the next month but more realistic 2!

Having longer fasts but I may not fast today as I need to take painkillers soon!

Ooh recipe looks good! I love broccoli and Stilton!!

stillholly · 22/11/2023 08:34

Feel better soon Jelly take it easy and doing well with the fasting and weight loss.

10:7:7 today - that was a surprise

jelly79 · 22/11/2023 13:20

@stillholly I love it when that happens.

I am fasting longer at the moment and may push to 24 hours again today which was not intentional like

jelly79 · 22/11/2023 19:36

Fasted till about 4pm today

2 x ryvita and some chicken salad topping

Yoghurt, granola and berries

Just got in to bed so the kitchen is closed.

stillholly · 23/11/2023 07:16

Morning, this week is going quick!

10:8:1 today so would love to get half off by tomorrow.

I'll have a few coffees today
Tuna pasta for lunch and probably just meat and veg for dinner

Plan to go gym and went yesterday so will also go tomorrow to get my three times in a week.

I'm actually glad not to have any plans this weekend before the Christmas socials kick off.

Smartmove · 23/11/2023 07:24

Back to 10.9 today. Ended up having nuts and a slice of toast last night due to hunger! Need to drink more water after 3pm when I seem to stop. Also did a long Hit sessions which makes me hungry….

i want 0.5 off today to be 10.8.5
yog berries
salmon and veg
sausages and veg
900 cals
no time for HiT today

yesyesitsaparkingone · 23/11/2023 10:23

@Smartmove could I ask what Hiit classes you do? V much hoping it’s YouTube !

Moonlighting here from the low carb board as I realised I was eating approx 100000 calories of cheese etc a day. Combining ALL the efforts to get another 5 pounds off before Christmas!

Smartmove · 23/11/2023 15:13

@yesyesitsaparkingone

I have a pelaton so do HIT or Tabatha classes on there! It makes me starving though!

Keep your indulgences to the meals rather than pressing the f*ck it switch on the whole weekend!
But enjoy the lovely occasions!!

Smartmove · 23/11/2023 20:42

Yes @jelly79 will keep checking in on here to make sure I stay on straight and narrow

f it attitude whole weekend will mean I spend the entire of next week chasing my tail.

enjoy the events. But be mindful. And be good inbetween. I’ll do a HIT first thing in am each day too to compensate for extra calories

@jelly79 well done on the amazing weight loss! U will be under 10 soon like u want!!! I can’t imagine fasting 24 hours after 16 I’m DONE!

Lots of steps and water. I would fast as much as you can up to the events

Ah thank you! To be honest since I done the 24 hour fast I've found it easier to fast longer and had less snack cravings. I do have the MCT coffees and they are the only way I can fast without feeling hungry x

Smartmove · 23/11/2023 21:04

@jelly79 ive not drunk in 4 weeks so I’m hoping after 2 I’ve had enough!

jelly79 · 24/11/2023 06:02

@Smartmove wow that's amazing! Bet you have felt good for it too

I am thinking I'm done with drinking now

Smartmove · 24/11/2023 06:53

@jelly79 no I just really miss it! I’m not a huge drinker anyways. Prob 3ish drinks over a fortnight if I’m out for dinner or celebrating something. Sometimes I won’t drink a few weeks if nothing going on…. But it meant when I drank I ate a lot of crap that day and day after

but actually I can’t wait for a drink tmrw. Oops hehe! Again prob have 2 glasses of wine max.

fab well done! U have made big life changes which means u will be maintaining ur weight loss and being healthy . I worry how I’ll keep of my loss but I think I’ll deal with that when I get it to. This last 7 pounds are taking an awful long time

about to weigh….really need to keep the focus this weekend

infact I think we should post a few life changes we have made which we think we can maintain moving fwd and means this weight loss will stay off. I might steal some peoples ideas !!

Smartmove · 24/11/2023 07:00

I am stuck at 10.9

10.8 goal next week. Hopefully this will keep me focussed this weekend

Oh wow defo enjoy the drinks when you have them!

Don't be worrying too much too you are doing great 😻

My lifestyle changes to maintain are (I think)

Continue
Fasting (this is a game changer for me!)
Alcohol free
Cut out food chemicals and eat whole foods
HIIT PTs these have been since lockdown and I still love them
MCT Coffees (help with the fasting)

I'm hit and miss with steps as I WAH so I need to get out and walk much more than I do!

jelly79 · 24/11/2023 07:12

Today weigh in 10s 3.2 (2.1 off from last week)

Need to make sure I don't sabatage myself at the weekend

Will have steak and salad tonight
Out for dinner with the girls tomorrow night
Family meal Sunday where my cousin is cooking

Will probably fast as much as I can in between

stillholly · 24/11/2023 08:47

Morning,

Well done that's a great loss this week Jelly. We will get there Smartmove, at least we are not gaining.

I'm 10:7:9 today. I'll take that but would ideally like to be 10:6:5 next Friday. Unlikely as that is the weight it took me ages to get there and think I was only there a week before gaining again. I'll try anyway and see how I go.

My main changes are

Mindful when drinking alcohol and trying to only drink one day out of the week - sometimes ends up being more though

Mostly skipping breakfast and just eating lunch and dinner

Try to exercise three times per week

If things go off track on the weekend, draw a line quickly on Monday morning and get back into the usual habits.

Great idea to reflect on this and share ideas!

stillholly · 24/11/2023 08:49

@yesyesitsaparkingone

Welcome to the thread, please stick around, the more support the merrier!

Smartmove · 24/11/2023 10:38

@stillholly well done. Yep we will get there. I started this thread 11 pounds heavier and actually one more and I’m at “goal” but I realise that I need to loose more to be happy with what I see in the mirror!

my changes have been

increasing steps. I try leave early on school run / park car further away etc to get my steps in. This will be harder when weather changes more but will add more HiT

no white carbs on a day to day basis. Don’t even miss them

3l of water a day

no more milky coffees. Actually don’t like it anymore! Americano with a dash of milk does me fine.

Chunkymonkey123 · 24/11/2023 23:23

I’m still 10.10 today which is very frustrating after having three 800 calorie days. But keeping on going.

hope you all have a great weekend! @jelly79 @stillholly You are doing so well with your weight loss!

stillholly · 25/11/2023 09:04

@Chunkymonkey123 stick with it and you'll have a drop soon, do you feel better for the fasts?

10:7:9 for me today.

Aim is 10:6:5 by next Friday.

Walk later and try to eat reasonably sensibly today with no alcohol.

It's a lovely crisp day today. Perfect for a walk.
