I’ve done this before during lockdown and got down to a decent weight but slowly gone back up. I keep starting and then doing well and then self sabtogage and gain it all. It’s such a problem. So I’m taking it 1 week at a time. And writing on here to keep me on straight and narrow

day 1
weight 11.6 . Bmi 25.5
goal weight 10.8

this is post 4 days of self sabotage so should come off very quickly I was 11.1 4 days ago so should be water. And then will start slowing down

today plan
brocolli and Stilton soup at 11ish
feta stuffed chicken with a side salad of leaves and avacado at 4ish

I can do this. I usually eat 3 small meals but I ate so much last night I’m not hungry!

@Cherryblossom81 hey!!

16:8 works for me, it's been something I can consistently do now I've cracked the coffee in the morning! And it's easier for me to do if a weekend because I am busy :)

I tend to do about 6pm - 11am fasting which cuts out breakfast and then evening snacks!

Going to increase my fasting window this week as I am on holiday a week today 🎉

Weighed at 10.3 today so a good week this week and hopefully 1 or 2 off!

Plan

  • increased fasting
  • increased steps
  • healthy food choices

@hollyblueivy when do you go away?

@Smartmove happy holidays!!

jelly79 · 16/10/2023 22:33

Decent start to the week! Albeit stodgy I think it's ok.

Fasted till about 1 today!

Jacket potato, beans and cheese (haven't had this for years) really filled me up
Homemade tomato and pepper soup with a ham and cheese toastie

hollyblueivy · 17/10/2023 07:21

@Smartmove Enjoy your holiday!

I'm off on Friday - weather in Spain looking a bit hit and miss at the moment!

10:7 today

Trying to do exercise every day this week in a last ditch to not get myself into holiday mode too early.

Your food yesterday sounds lovely and comforting.

I had a fish finger sandwich at lunch and fajita pork with sweet potato and salad for dinner.

Hi all
last day of holiday we’ll arrive tmrw night so today and tmrw …been very indulgent and alcohol fuelled. I dread to think how much I’ve gained!!! I have stayed away from sugar all day but then had 3 cours dinners and polished off cocktails and wine! Have just started planning what to eat when back …will be fish avacado nuts and Greek yoghurt heavy

will restart and accelerate strict fasting 950/1000 cals and am not drinking at all in month of Nov (have one night out but will not drink)

it will take me a good ten days to prob get back to 10.10 I reckon and then if I can do one pound a week I’m aiming for 10.6/10.7 by end of month

hollyblueivy · 20/10/2023 11:45

Last weigh for me is 10:7:3

I don't really want to put on any more than 5lb on holiday but don't want to hold back either.

Do you guys exercise on holiday?

Smartmove · 20/10/2023 12:23

apart from ten thousand steps and some recreational swimming I didn’t. I should have.
I was really good for brekkie and lunch and had zero snacks but then had 3 course meals and prob a cocktail and half bottle of wine a night

expecting 7 pounds up. Had a fab time but gonna have to seriously not eat to get it off quick !

You are doing brilliantly @Smartmove in getting the holiday weight off!
I am away at the moment but back on it tomorrow, I’ve got my first 5 days planned out food wise. Fed up of feeling bloated with tight trousers.
