We'll done @Kayemm - you're smashing it.

Some not great news this week, and usually I'd have thought fuck it and get pizza for dinner, drink wine etc. But talked myself down and made better choices staying on plan. So feeling pleased, and 3lbs Dow since Sunday, so hopefully this will spur me on for the rest of this rubbish week!

How's everyone else doing?

loveyouradvice · 30/07/2021 23:04

Those measurements are AMAZING Kayemm, huge congrats... and over half way to the 20lbs.

I'm weighing myself after the first week tomorrow so will report then... had hoped for more so far but 3lbs is okay.

Alieninmybody · 31/07/2021 10:55

Hello everyone, newbie here hoping it's ok to join in?
I've been on these threads some years ago and had good success.
I started low carb this week and have lost 5lbs. I'm not quiet at 800 calories usually hit between 900/1200 but just saw this thread and realised with a little tweaking I could follow this again.

I've just read the more recent replies, congrats on all your success so far.
I'll catch up with the whole thread now and look forward to chatting to you all over the coming weeksSmile

loveyouradvice · 31/07/2021 12:25

Allin hello and welcome - I joined just a week ago! 5lbs in your first week sounds terrific. Congrats

I've lost 3.5 lbs in my first week - Fast 800 including 3 juice days of under 500. Hmm. Less than I hoped but I am now menopausal.

I've just finished reading Jason Fung's Obesity Code so am thinking of doing a 40 hour fast every Monday.... going to start this Monday and reflect and read more by the time next Monday comes round!

Hope everyone is having a happy and healthy weekend xx

DareDevil223 · 01/08/2021 16:54

Hi everyone. I've done Fast 800 in the past but not stuck to it. I started again last Monday and weighed yesterday. I lost 7lbs in five days which is great. I do have a good 7 stone to lose though. I was pretty pleased that the loss took my BMI to under 40.
I'm doing pork steaks with roast courgettes and cherry tomatoes tonight.

DareDevil223 · 01/08/2021 16:57

I'm planning to do 12 weeks on the Very Fast 800 and see where I'm up to weight loss wise after that.

MercedesBenz · 03/08/2021 12:45

I’m back on it , after a few weeks of bobbing up and down over the same 3 lb

Fingers crossed for a loss this week

Welcome to all the new starters

How’s everyone doing ?

happythoughts786 · 03/08/2021 20:32

Hi everyone newbie here.
I just purchased and read the book last week and have been doing the fast800 since Saturday. Just over a week.
I am trying to stick to low carbs and 800 calories.

I usually fast from 8pm to 12 or 2 the next day
I have pcos and struggle to lose weight.

This woe has really helped I lost 10 lbs in the week.
I have never been able to lose this successfully before.

Any tips or advice welcome.

Lovely to hear other peoples success

MercedesBenz · 03/08/2021 21:12

Wow @happythoughts786
That’s amazing well done

LotsOfTrees · 05/08/2021 19:51

I’m back on it properly this week too @MercedesBenz after a very up and down couple of weeks month after finishing the 12 weeks. After a couple of days back I’m only a couple of pounds over what I’d got down to.

Chickpea patties for dinner which is a big favourite.

Great to hear from lots of people starting out and to hear of some great losses.

LotsOfTrees · 07/08/2021 07:35

Not yet a week back after a month of very much not great eating and I’m now half a pound lighter than the lowest I reached after the 12 weeks! Posting as an encouragement that the advice in the book is right - if you come off plan, then you know what to do to get back on track. I’m now at 43.5lbs lost overall!

DareDevil223 · 07/08/2021 18:11

What a great loss @LotsOfTrees. I lost 2lbs this week so 9lbs in just under 2 weeks.

loveyouradvice · 07/08/2021 21:48

Wow guys - amazing losses - congratulations!

I've just finished week 2 and have lost 4 lbs - added to week 1, that's 7.5lbs so far. I've got less than 2 stone to go so feeling happy with this

MercedesBenz · 11/08/2021 17:31

Cod in ham
Mange tout and a few boiled potatoes for dinner or tea depending on where u r from

Lunch , avo salad and tinned salmon .. was lush

How’s everyone getting on ?

MercedesBenz · 12/08/2021 12:35

3lb down since sun
Back into it after a month of messing about and just maintaining Smile no Cake for me but I’m giving myself Star
How’s everyone doing ???

MercedesBenz · 14/08/2021 09:56

How’s everyone getting on ?

weknowfrogsgotralalalala · 15/08/2021 07:45

@MercedesBenz that's a great loss this week.

I'm down 4lbs this week, which is a 16lb loss and takes me to last summer's weight. Still a long way to go and so feeling very pleased with myself!

Now just need to resit the pancakes my 3 year old has requested for breakfast 😬

Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

veryactually · 15/08/2021 17:45

I joined the wrong group earlier. Meant to join this thread, eyesight failing... 😊.

Anyway. I have 10kg to.lose. First day today. Managed it.

veryactually · 16/08/2021 04:44

And disheartened this morning as weighed myself and had hoped it wasn't as bad as I feared 🙃 but it was worse

MercedesBenz · 16/08/2021 07:52

Welcome @veryactually
It takes a few days to get into it , drink plenty of water . The scales may be higher than u had hoped but you are taking a positive step in the right direction
You will get lots of help on this thread so ask away

LotsOfTrees · 16/08/2021 08:26

Great losses @weknowfrogsgotralalalala and @MercedesBenz!

And welcome @veryactually - you’ll begin to see losses soon!

veryactually · 16/08/2021 10:51

Thank you.all for the encouragement
Congratulations you are all doing so well it is inspiring
I'm on.a long shift today. My weight gain started when I returned to work in July. Up at 5am finish 9pm Overeating when I get home at 9pm. Its tricky planning when to eat. Today my lunch break.is at 2 to 3pm. Then no breaks until I get home at 9pm.

The other option is eating at 9pm and fasting at work. Or 2 400 cal meals. I have no control over lunch time it can be any time from 1pm to 4pm

Any advice on dieting and shift work appreciated

So today is going to be different.
I am going to try not to eat after a shift and just fall in to bed 9pm feels too late to eat and an invitation to bad habits

Tinselandlights · 27/08/2021 22:12

Anyone else ready to get back onto this wagon again?

I've just ordered up some shakes and am going to reapply myself to it after some holiday indulgences!
