I have heard of it but never looked into it - keep us informed on how it's working for you, might invest at a later date. Tdee day today, changed the restaurant we're going to do better choices on the menu for me. Now just to have to find something to wear, piddling down here, torrential at points

bear I don't have that app but my Samsung health app produces a weekly report that calculates average Cals, carbs, losses, exercise cals, etc.I love it!

Ok day 4 done. Not too bad but I haven't managed to step away from all sweet things and I haven't managed to drink 3 litres of water, but I did come in under 800 calories. I presume I won't see the full benefit unless I can cold turkey all sugar a d drink a gallon or two ? I shall reread the book.

Loving a poached egg on 25g of ham in the morning. 35 seconds in the microwave. Super !

You'll can't not see good results on 800 did so don't sweat it too much, it can take a while to get into the swing of it. Reducing sugar really helps the 800 go much further and starts to help you lose the craving for sugar. 2 litres is plenty, 3 is fantastic but not the end of the world if you don't hit it. Just keep at it

Just done my week four weigh in and I am now 1 stone 2.4lbs down. Really pleased. Trying to stick to 800 a day but don't mind if I go over occasionally. Last night I had some crusty olive bread as a treat and really enjoyed it. I've started the psyllium husks today as recommended.

Ok. I'm going to concentrate on 2 litre today as I'm at home so can easily monitor it... birthday patyy out tomorrow so going to accept it will be more than 800 but I'll try and eat sensibly. Had a sneaky step on the scales today which was probably a mistake....

Well done Grace Flowers

This is the end of my 12th week and I have lost 1.5 stone. I'm pleased because that was my aim for this week.

I'm hoping to get some walking in this weekend but housework may win out instead.

That's amazing grace, I think you should do a name change to amazinggrace 😁
I weigh in pretty much daily did, although not today, my hungover head feels like it weighs 10 stone! My meal out was lovely & while I did go over cals, carb'wise I only ate a small bit of brown bread & 3 chips so I'm v proud of myself (can't find a sufficient smug emoticon)

I'm away this evening in Oxford celebrating my anniversary, so this weekend is pretty much a write off! Yesterday had a 'taste the difference' meal deal from ssinsburys (just noticed the typo but to be fair SINsburys in more accurate!) which was a lotta calories. Today have walked my 12,000 steps round Oxford and have just swam for 40 mins too, but did have white crusty bread sandwich for lunch. Eating tonight at Jamie Oliver's, and I imagine there will be much carby goodness and plenty alcohol so ..., not looking forward to the scales. From tomorrow though, back on it, cooked breakfast of something eggy and perhaps another quick swim in the hotel spa before returning to reality!

May as well fill up the old thread with some blah blah. Got through yesterday but was a bit of a chocolate monster, haven't fully confessed to mfp but I should soon before I forget it all (it was a LOT)
Feeling headachey/exhausted & bunged up, tmi sorry. I had some fruit for breakfast, was quite nice. I rarely eat fruit these days, made a change from my usual egg'fest. Going to make a slow cooked stew for later. So wrecked😴 Anyone doing much today?

Well I blew the calorie budget yesterday at Jamie Oliver's, had fried squid with aioli (?), lamb with toasted pine nuts, and shared dessert with dh although to be fair he had 2/3 to my 1/3. Drank too much but for me that's actually not too dramatic as I'm not the best drinker. Had a cooked breakfast this morning and now feeling a little delicate! I feel like I've wasted the last few weeks to-ing and fro-ing and messing about with trying to be good and then failing miserably. I have ordered myself some size 10 shorts in the Boden sale so I intend then to fit on holiday in five weeks! I'm going to dust my running shoes off as well and reacquaint myself with Jillian. I could lose 10lb before I go away if I try hard. Also I have a bank holiday wedding to attend and I have bought a very unforgiving dress so I have set it as my screensaver!

not2b I am jealous of your chocolate binge. Envy
bear your meal sounds amazing. That's a good idea to use clothes as an incentive.
I seem to have picked up a stomach bug so didn't eat much yesterday at all. Today was going to be a cheat day but tbh I still feel lousy.

I had copious alcohol and cheese, chips and garlic sauce last night
But i'd always planned to properly start from today, this week has been my practise run...

Breakfast was raspberry and greek yog smoothie with americano, lunch is houmous and crudités with a gingerbread green tea, dinner will be 2 egg omelette with cheese and shallots :)

Don't be jealous place, it's played havoc with my insides and no doubt the scales. Just had cheese on toast so I won't be the poster gal for bsd today!
Your food plan for today sounds spot on beyond, drink plenty of water too and you'll be fine.
bear you can absolutely make a decent dint in 10lb over 5 weeks or possibly more but you'll need to be very strict. I've really found that once my worst excess weight shifted, every other ounce off has been hard won. I've now 9 days until my holiday - I just want to see 10'something by then. I was 11.1 on Monday, I weigh in on Tuesday and I'm sure to see 11.5/6/7 which is the normal trend. Greedy picky knickers that's me. I'm going to try keep cals low & no alcohol today. That's my ambition at least, we'll see

I've lost 0.4lbs since yesterday but only because I can't keep anything in! No doubt it will pile back on once i get over this bug.Every time I move my stomach gurgles ominously (sorry if that's TMI).

I am going to make some pancakes for DS and might steal some. Probably not wise but I am so hungry!

Good woman beyond, I need to get a good amount of water in today too but so far I've only managed 3 glasses, but having lots of black tea so that might count.

I've just planned 5 days food from the book/recipes, I haven't actually done any recipes from there. Going to try having a shake for breakfast too, so I've ordered blueberries and flax seeds. Quite looking forward to trying some new things.
