Morning! I told myself I’d forget about it but alas, I cannot 😆
I have a quite a few brides I’m holding off on for cakes in August so hope we find out by the end of next week. 😬

Just checking in to see if anyone had heard anymore, but doesn’t seem to have. My ds has been offered a musician place with BYMT in Cabaret Macabre. He will be outnumbered by the sounds of it as it’s an all female cast .
Awaiting the outcome from NYMT also, but heard nothing as of yet.

Nothing from NYMT here but in previous years we have usually heard late on the Wed or Thursday after final audition. Fingers crossed it will be the same this year and we all know tomorrow! I have been trying to busy myself about the house to stop from checking emails every 5 minutes but proving to be very difficult

My daughter’s video was viewed this morning no idea whether that was the first viewing .... The wait goes on!

@Comefromaway did you submit on YouTube? do you know if DS's video has been viewed? DD's was viewed immediately after submission, then once on 28th Feb and 3 times on 20th March but nothing since...

It has definitely been viewed but I can't remember how many times I viewed it after submission thus adding to the number.

There is an obvious wrong chord in there which we hadnt realised!

Our tape was viewed 3 times before the recall then another 3 times on the day of the recall - but not since...

My ds musician video had 2 further views on Sunday.

I’m going to suggest DS uses YouTube in future. Although maybe knowing how many views he’s had might be more stressful?

I really don’t think we’ll hear anything until Friday at the earliest. Obviously that’s just a guess.

He has his first face to face LAMDA in over a year later on. He’s so excited to not be zooming!

@Triflefan it's so lovely for them to get back to the things they love face to face isn't it! Mine had his first stage school session face to face on Sunday, albeit in bubbles for now, and dancing on Monday - still some things online but the tide is turning...

Yes, DD had an email about face to face chamber music rehearsals starting next week too. So wonderful!!!

Ds has had face to face music at college but yesterday was his singing group, he’s currently in his singing lesson (I’m in the car waiting) & tomorrow he has a face to face piano lesson!

DS has had some dance at college recently and singing too which was banned for most of the academic year! but, the idea of going back to his old school tonight seemed to really lift him.
Somehow he managed to take his exam during the short period of relative normality last year which was quite fortunate really.

DD is very excited she heads into her first close contact performance bubble next week at college. She has been lucky dance has been going on since September as has individual singing, though ensemble singing only started when they went back in person.
It has been a very hard year for people who live to perform.

Dd had orchestra sectionals and chamber on Saturday - so happy

My son (15yo) had a musician NYMT place last year. This year sent a video off but we're still to hear.
BYMT have offered him a place though doing Cabaret Macabre, so @janet25 he'll be joining your son with a female only acting cast.

@Musicdoc my son (16) will be glad to hear of some more male company what does he play?
We’re in the same situation with waiting to hear back from NYMT also
