I’ve lost count of my number so I’m only going to include what I’ve posted in here.

Yesterday:
Morning yoga 20 mins
6.5k walk
Couple of shorter walks 40 mins
2 hours of dancing (night out)
27,000 steps in total

Today:
10k walk
5k run
15 mins yoga
24,000 steps in total

Was planning a dumbbell workout this evening but was too knackered after all the walking and running so will do it tomorrow instead.

Comtesse · 26/04/2026 09:25

Yesterday - 12min yoga stretching and 1.5 hours dancing at a gig.

Skybluegreen · 26/04/2026 11:00

I’ve managed 5 visits to the gym this week.

3 x lower body strength sessions
2 x upper body strength sessions
1 x cardio workout
And a couple of walks to loosen off my legs on the rest days.

I have bought an adjustable weighed vest. I’m planning a couple of post work walks this week, I’m loving the extra light. I finish work at 4, usually I finish my day at home as my clinical work typically finishes at 3. So I can definitely squeeze two 30-60 minute walks in and a longer walk on a weekend day. Add in two to three of my strength sessions and hydro, that’s pretty good.

1hr Body Balance Class. Found the transitions very difficult and a bit scary at one point - thought I might fall.

stilldumdedumming · 26/04/2026 20:37

upper body and physio yesterday. I have a neuro appointment this week. I have waited months for this and I have no hope it will result in any diagnosis or treatment.
new boxing class tomorrow night. Will report back!

Very brief fast walking warm-up. Fastest pace, 7.4 kmph.

Lat Pull, 26 kg. Only did a few and my form was terrible. Shall go down a weight next time.

Trices pull, 26kg. Managed that better. Ditto biceps curl.

Pilates class, 45 minutes.

7km brisk walk
30 mins yoga (class was cancelled so just did a YouTube video instead)

19,900 steps so far. Will make sure I hit 20k before bed!

I always struggle to do much on a Monday, maybe because I do a lot at the weekend? I have a strength class tomorrow and will walk there and back.

FurForksSake · 28/04/2026 19:10

23 minutes on my exercise bike, as suggested by my plan.

10 minutes morning yoga
7k walk
45 min Pump it up class (full body workout with dumbbells)
3k walk

27,400 steps in total

Comtesse · 29/04/2026 10:47

Hello all - yesterday was jumping around to a 4 min song, 10m hiit then 8m bedtime yoga stretching. Plus some cycling around in the sunshine!

stilldumdedumming · 29/04/2026 13:42

@MummyInTheNecropolis - impressive steps!

boxing class was a little too dancy and not punchy enough - but it got me out the house!

So I have
Monday 40x 25m swim and evening boxing
Tuesday 64 x 25m swim, a hard core class and 90 minutes yoga
and today 70x25m swim.

The swimming is going well!

Another 3k walk
Pilates class 1 hour

WearyAuldWumman · 29/04/2026 21:24

45 minutes Senior Flex - cardio, lunges, wall presses, overhead lifts, band work.

In Active for Life studio: 15 minutes on the bike; side raises, biceps curls.

stilldumdedumming · 30/04/2026 06:35

@FurForksSakeis the pain an expected thing? I hope it’s passing in any case.

I am posting this because we are movement people. It’s about 4 minutes long. This is what we were doing in yoga this week. Making ourselves into living tensegrity models.

Although it says error - it appears to work if I click on it.

FurForksSake · 30/04/2026 07:21

@stilldumdedumming I was on long term sick from June until February and had a hip reconstruction. In that time I also got diagnosed with fibromyalgia and hypermobility spectrum disorder (because my rheumatologist doesn’t like to give people the diagnosis of Ehlers danlos syndrome although I fit the entire criteria). I also have degenerative disc disease and arthritis is my spine and arthritis and a probable tear in my left hip.

Going back to work means sitting in chairs, driving more and carrying a heavier bag than I’d like.

Intake a lot of painkillers and I’m trying to keep exercise and movement up throughout in the hope eventually it will help.
