Anyone want to join me?
Yes I know it’s an oldie but I did it about 15 years ago and it was really effective.
I’ve just done day one and the weights and abs stuff weren’t too bad but the cardio nearly killed me, I’m more unfit than I realised.

A little update we are still in Spain and I have had my woosh with weight loss which someone described it as. I dont know how much i have lost but my clothes are definitely much looser and I look slimmer. We have walked miles, eaten pretty healthy overall which is definitely easier when fruit and veg is so fresh and cheap. I dont like Spanish chocolate and have had a couple of glasses of wine most night.

I plan to weigh myself a couple of days after I get back then get back to working out.

@IDareSay a long lie down sounds ideal 😁 the kettlebell workout is meant to be really good too. You’ll have to keep up posted please!

Round 2 30DS L1 8/30 completed. Not bad going for a Friday night!
Haven’t managed to do any Wednesday or Thursday so I’m back on it now.

Wore a dress to work yesterday I haven’t worn in a while and it was definitely looser round my waist. And I’m definitely feeling I have more energy.

There was a lot of slinging about of kettlebells and some very complicated moves! Still, what could go wrong? We probably need to replace the front window at some point anyway 😳

That's level 1 finished for this round.

I have managed to tweak my back, not by shredding but by turning over in bed a couple of nights ago! It hasn't affected my exercising (apart from me being a little bit slower getting up and down on and off the floor), in fact the exercise seems to help it, probably by warming up the muscles.

It's the type of stiffness that makes itself felt when getting in and out of a chair or bending slightly; it constantly feels on the verge of seriously popping so I am moving a little bit gingerly which may well be making it worse. If anyone understands what I mean and has any suggestions do tell!

Even managed some rock star jumps! So glad I happened across this thread, it's given me the kick up the bum I needed. Hope everyone else is doing OK? It's a bit quiet...

Looking forward to at least a week off now, and hoping for a little weight loss whoosh 💥

Blimey! I’m just catching up with the thread and you’re all doing so well. I had planned to take a week off then restart again. But then work went manic and I was working late for over a week. Then this little menace joined the household and I’ve been settling her in. I will get back to it on Monday I promise!

Well done everyone. We got back from spain on wed and I started back exercising on Friday with jillian michaels kickboxing. I am trying to shed the stone I have put on since hitting 44 so have cut out the crap and am eating healthy.

Ive not been ok this week. Ive had a really nasty stomach bug and have felt awful and been off work. Finally feeling better so back n it tomorrow. Starting level 1 again.

Her name is Sid! Don’t ask, I was led to believe she was a he 😆 She was found as a semi feral stray but is settling in really well as a lap cat!

Sid is beautiful 😻 it’s funny how quickly how some feral cats forget that they were feral / semi feral!!
And Sid is a great name too. She is really gorgeous.

Back on the shred after a week off. Was the right decision to leave it until I felt better.

Definitely fitter than I was as the exercises were far more doable this time round. Although getting up to do it before going to work was hard going!!

Not eating much because of feeling so ill last week has helped with the weight loss as well. Not the best way to lose weight but every cloud and all that!

Round 2 L1 D11/30 ✅ 19 days to go!

@Happyhettie I bet it was a challenge getting up to do Shredding! Probably wise though as then it’s done for the day. I start work at 8 and am definitely not a morning person so have just done mine. With the added complication of an inquisitive kitten trying to help!

I ended up watching on my iPad in my bedroom so I didn’t squash Sid but there isn’t really enough space for some of the exercises. Anyway D1 L1 of round two done. Similar to you, it was definitely more doable this time round.

I'm thinking about trying the app @FloofyBird I thought I might check it out with the free trial for a week starting later this week. It looks like it might be useful for mixing things up.

It actually feels a bit strange not getting into my exercise gear when I get up in the morning! Quite looking forward to getting back to it in a few days but want to have at least a full 7 day break first.

Round 2 Day 12/30 completed before work again this morning, nearly half way there for the second time. 🥳

Never stuck at it for this long before. Usually do one round and then it falls by the wayside. And the fact it’s week 4 of term and I’m still at it is a miracle. And I’m sort of enjoying it!

Well done @FloofyBird and @Fundays12 for getting back on it again!
