Anyone want to join me?
Yes I know it’s an oldie but I did it about 15 years ago and it was really effective.
I’ve just done day one and the weights and abs stuff weren’t too bad but the cardio nearly killed me, I’m more unfit than I realised.

I still do callanetics sometimes instead of pilates/ barre / yoga. It's really good

Round 2, L1 D5 done, 13/30 almost halfway...used 2kg today.

I'm still on Round 1 and have completed L2 D1 today.

There's quite a bit of this that I struggled with. I'm not good with plank because it really hurts my joints (wrists, elbows and shoulders) and I'm not sure whether it's something to push through or avoid. I don't mind muscles aching, but joints aching is different.

I got through it by 'phoning it in' quite a lot. I might return to L1 tomorrow. I seem to get on fine with most of this, but I know I'll get bored.

I am feeling so much fitter and leaner though. It's made a massive difference to me. I've already lost 4cm off my waist, which I'm really pleased about.

It's great to hear how everyone else is getting on.

@User456778976546 I have the medical knowledge of a paper bag but I would have thought joints hurting isn’t something you should push through. I know my knees would hurt and I’d injure myself if I did all the squat things and some of the jumping things so I just do a different activity for those (from one of the other levels)
You could just swap out the plank things for level 1 things.
It’s great how different you feel fitness wise so quickly - well done for getting on to level 2!

Round 2 L3 D4 completed. Still not doing the rockstar jumps and did skaters with weights instead. Swapped the final abs move for L1.

Did my measurements in a bit of a rush beforehand (wanted to be ready for tribunal I'm watching), so need to compare with previous ones when I get a few minutes.

I have not even looked at my Callanetics video as I knew this week was going to be manic but it’s downloaded on my iPad so I’m ready for my holiday.

I was holding on till Sunday morning before telling you about what appears to me a mini whoosh from not doing any exercise other than just being active. Since I weighed myself on Sunday after my last day on level 3, I’ve lost 3.3lbs. Given that I was dieting all the way through August and only lost 1.6lbs in that time, I think my body had definitely held onto something (although in the interests of full transparency, I did lose 7lbs from the point that I started 30DS on 1 July - also whilst dieting throughout).

The stats from my smart scales are also interesting as it appears my fat percentage has dropped whilst my muscle percentage has increased - and I’ve not done anything with weights this week. I know that the stats produced are a bit dubious and you should focus on the trends but it does make me wonder what my body is up to.

Anyway, keep on, keeping on 👏

No 30DS for me since Tuesday 😞 I’ve been back at work and my back is sore so I thought I best not do it. Don’t want it so myself a mischief.

Did a 1 mile walk thing this evening and walked 4 miles at work so I’ve been active.

@IDareSay ypire doing a cracking job! Well done!

Thanks for this @Saggyoldclothbody that's the sort of thing I'm hoping for! This next part is also reassuring as I know I am smaller by my clothes but weight is creeping down soooo slowly:

I'm due to finish this round on Thursday 18th. I'll weigh a few days after that and see if I get a similar effect.

30DS Day 5/30

Did the exercises from the different levels that wouldn’t hurt and definitely phoned it in but did a whole work out. I’m pleased I’ve done it, just going to be careful.

Well I did my last work out about 5 days ago of JM before my holiday. I am currently in Spain and have walked miles in the last 2 days and played in the pool for hours. I had planned to carry on working out another few days but had a big night out last sat night and danced for hours with friends then on sun and Monday was very recovering and just non stop till we left on Thursday. I have definitely got some extra definition in my legs and arms though and plan to start again when I am back.

I have had a pile of trousers/jeans/combats that were too small in the bottom of the wardrobe for a while. The ones on the top were those I thought I could fit back into after losing a few more lbs in order of tightness if that makes sense, in that the ones on the bottom of the pile were way too small!

I have just tried them all on and six pairs have now gone into my wardrobe as they now fit. I may still get rid of some of them as not sure if I like all of them anymore, but I'm astonished. I only tried them all on a month ago, and having just checked I can see I have lost less than a kg since then.

Power of the shred, no other explanation! 💪

I’ve done a dance video today. I’m too achy after yesterday to do the shred and I’m trying to listen to my body. But hoping I’ll be back on it tomorrow. I know I’m a wuss but being back at work after the summer holidays is really hard going. I appreciate I’m a lazy layabout teacher with 13 weeks hols but it’s hard work working 9am - 3pm. All that finger painting and playing in the sand is hard work. 🤣

Level 3 tomorrow and the warm up makes me laugh because Natalie actually looks like a bored teenager for the arm crosses 😆She is definitely phoning it in at that point!

Very well done @IDareSay ! totally agree about Natalie. Bored teenage sums it up perfectly. I’m not sure she’s feeling the love for any of these work outs!

Round 2 Level 2 Day 6/30 did the whole L2 workout today. Not half as achy as yesterday.
I love skaters!

Natalie probably looks like that because she’s annoyed she pulled the short straw for the difficult exercises. She phones it in on several occasions. I don’t blame her 😀

Excellent results with the trousers @IDareSay and I’m very impressed that you do a workout every day.

Plan for after this @Happyhettie is to have a long, long, long lie down 😁

Seriously, I am going to take a break for a week or so (see if any weight loss whoosh happens), and then have a go at Jillian's kettlebell work out, maybe with some Callanetics thrown in occasionally.
