Anyone want to join me?
Yes I know it’s an oldie but I did it about 15 years ago and it was really effective.
I’ve just done day one and the weights and abs stuff weren’t too bad but the cardio nearly killed me, I’m more unfit than I realised.

Are you going to resume the Shred again or are you planning on doing something different once you’ve had a break?

I'm planning on another round of 30 days I think, but will have a look at the kettlebell workout I have downloaded and see what I think (from a sunlounger, with a cocktail ) 😎

It would be good to see if I get the whoosh, but given I won't be able to weigh myself until I get back, the holiday food may well negate it. Though if I come back having not gained weight I'll take that as a massive win.
Hmm, that's another reason for repeating the 30 days; to see if the whoosh actually happens!

I have two more days to go so will report back on any whooshing.

Similarly debating whether to repeat the shred after a short break but following the order on the download this time. So rather than 10 days on each level, I do L1, L2, L3 then repeat. No particular reason other than I can’t be bothered to keep rewinding it to the right section.

I haven't done my work out today yet as the house is like an oven. Its a new build and retains heat very well which is amazing in the winter but awful in the summer. I upped the weights I used yesterday to 3 kilos and can really feel it today.

L3D3 done - I used a 6kg kettlebell for that one armed dumbbell clean section. My 2kg weights weren’t really cutting it!!

Each time I’ve done it I’ve lost 5lb on the scale but gained lots of muscle so the fat loss is even more than 5lb. My whooshes come 2-3 weeks after finishing a round. I’m on my 3rd round now and can’t believe the muscle I have and the slim thighs!

This is really helpful to know. I completed day 7 today and can see some minor changes so I am hoping by the end of the programme I am looking far slimmer and more toned.

Awesome! If you weigh in after finishing then don’t be disappointed, just give your body chance to get rid of the water retention from repairing the muscles and you’ll see better results of all your hard work, like I say mine comes after a few weeks. I let my weight stabilise at the lower weight and then do another round. You’ll smash it ♥️

Oh my god. The memories. So many phrases. I hated 2 with a passion but didn’t mind 3 HOWEVER I hated the v fly and felt like I might expire. I’ve got a bad back currently but might try the strength bits I can manage …I looked pretty decent - fat bit firmer - last time

Well that’s level 3, day 10 complete!
Set myself a goal at the start of the summer holidays to complete the 30 days over 7 weeks and I have managed to stick to it thanks to this thread!
Shred complete and the kids go back to school on Tuesday 🙌🙌
Have put a reminder in my phone for June next year to do it again 😂

Well done you. I am guessing you are in Scotland as my kids are back next Tuesday to and I am in Scotland. Lol I am looking forward to putting my feet up for a while.

Aw thanks and glad it’s feeling easier for you, it’s so empowering when that happens isn’t it! One day it feels impossible, then just hard, and then 3/4s in your body is just handling it, and you’re like WTF is this person.. I really felt that with the jumping jacks with weights in level 3, my body just refused to do it at first 🤣

Thanks I will do this. I go to Spain the day after I finish the 30 days so that can be mg break then straight back into it.

Day 8 of L1 done now. Its still really hot were I live so I have had to sit outside for 30 mins to try get a breeze just to cool down

Day 4 level 1 done, definitely felt a little bit quicker today,must be getting used to it!! Managed to do the butt kicks properly tonight and also managed the side lunges with 2 kg weights for the first time without worrying I was going to throw themConfusedstill can't do the rope jumping so march it out.Body feels sore and muscles on fire after but am actually,dare I say it, enjoying it ,so farGrin

@Disturbia81 I love that but when it’s suddenly easier. Helps that you can feel progress so quickly and it’s always a surprise!

It’s blooming boiling. I’m feeling chuffed that I have kept going through this heatwave. It’s only 24 degrees at the moment. Which is nice if you have a house which isn’t baking and aren’t trying to do 30DS 🙈

Well done everyone who completed yesterday. I did day 9 first thing this morning as I am not spending my Friday night doing it. Thankfully its a bit cooler here today though still fairly warm. I am actually starting to see some minor changes in my body which ia motivating.

Think I’m going to take a week off now and repeat the shred again but with heavier weights next time. I’d love to be slim and fit for Christmas!

Took tonight off as I felt very inflamed was afraid I'd do damage,will do day 5 tomorrow.Need to up my water going forward as I've been very lax, well done everyone on how you're doing ,it's a slow process for me but hopefully it's something I will keep doing 🙏
