Anyone want to join me?
Yes I know it’s an oldie but I did it about 15 years ago and it was really effective.
I’ve just done day one and the weights and abs stuff weren’t too bad but the cardio nearly killed me, I’m more unfit than I realised.

Level 1 Day 8 completed. Still only doing half jacks and following Anita. I will not be injured!

@IDareSay Very well done! L3 is hard going. It will feel easier by day 5 or 6 (apparently!)

So still scared of doing it because of jacks/bad knee. But I discovered I had her fast fix kick-boxing dvd. So I’ve just done the first workout of that.
I’m a puddle but okay!

Same here @IDareSay L3 D1 just completed. Have to be honest and say I actually found it a bit easier than L2 but will report back more thoroughly tomorrow - assuming I can get out of bed. Still can’t do a sit up to save my life though.

I also follow Anita @Happyhettie Partly because I’m really unfit and partly due to the fact I don’t want my downstairs neighbour’s ceiling to cave in by me doing loads of jumping around.

So random this popped up on trending, I started (again 😁) on Saturday. My thighs are broken today 😭 😂I'm so unfit. I've had to take a rest day today after powering thorough yesterday because I can honestly barely move. Love it tho, and I love Gillian (and pretend MAGA Gillian doesn't exist)

I'm about half and half Anita and Natalie @Happyhettie , depending on the exercise. I can do a full push up now, which I could not do 3 weeks ago, but lunges really do me in, mainly because of my balance, though that is getting better. The combination moves in L3 are really tough; leaping about with weights I am in fear for the tv and the window!
I'm very aware that this whole thing would be a damn sight easier if I was 4 or 5kg lighter; maybe by Christmas if I keep this up when I am back from hols.
I did one of my earlier sessions upstairs @Iheartmysmart but DH insisted it would be safer for us all if I stuck to downstairs workouts Grin
Welcome @Twinstudy , this thread popped up in trending for me too, about 3 weeks ago and here I am on L3 having last done this workout back in the noughties 😳It really does work so hang in there.

I found level 3 not much harder stamina wise, just some of the moves were a bit more awkward.

I’ve started another round and my thighs have never ached so much, I’m hoping this mean maximum muscle beefage haha.

@Saggyoldclothbody what a gorgeous ‘helper’. My old girl used to look disparagingly at me when I used to do exercise and try and sit on me if I was doing sit ups 😂

Just had a massive omelette, 54g protein. Should tide me over for a few hours!

Day 11 of 30DS done. Im counting it as Level 1.5. A mixture of level 1 and level 2 because I am seriously unfit and overweight and couldn’t even do the Anita version of everything.

I am cross with myself / sad that I have let myself get in to this state when I see picture from when I was in my 20s / early 30s and I was fit and healthy (and sounding vain, I looked good) BUT I am healthier and fitter than I was 10 days ago so that’s something. And in the next few days these exercises will feel easier too, just like level 1 did. And I will get back to those levels of fitness.

You WILL get back there 🤗 and probably be even fitter! I’m trying so much harder now I’m mid 40s, it feels more important

L2 D9 complete! I wasn’t able to fit it in this morning when I usually do it before I’ve eaten and I’ve noticed that my HR is always lower on days when I do it after lunch.

@IDareSay Impressed that you’re doing it every day. My body has said no to my willpower so I do a kettlebell workout or have a rest those days.

@Disturbia81 and @Happyhettie On this particular occasion he was being a hinderer - he wanted to be behind the tv and I was concerned that he would knock the iPad down. There is a mix of interest on different days. Frequently it’s a look of “WTF is she doing” that I receive 😀

@Happyhettie you'll be surprised at how quickly your fitness improves. I’m 58 and am about 2 stone overweight due to a rotten combination of family bereavements, redundancy, a marriage break up and the loss of my little dog - all within a year. I’m just glad I turned to cake and not wine!

But after just 3 weeks of shredding, my resting heart rate is down from 78bpm to 65bpm. My blood pressure is down and I’ve just carried four heavy bags of shopping up to my first floor flat with relative ease. Not lost much weight but have lost inches and noticed a real difference in my shape. As @Disturbia81 says, you’ll probably be even fitter by the time you’re done.

Anyway, I can’t put it off any longer L3 D3 for me now!

L3 D5 done, and that's my last Friday session until my holiday!

Right shoulder feeling a bit weak and feeble today and I'm generally fatigued but pushed through and, as always, feel better for having done the session.
I will be glad of a break over my holiday and hoping for a drop in weight as reported by @Disturbia81
Though no doubt my holiday eating may negate that!

@Disturbia81 I think that’s it, mid 40s means it’s more important now. I need to be healthier and not take my health for granted.

@Iheartmysmart I’m so sorry to hear about your horrendous year. That sounds very tough going - one of those is bad enough to deal with let alone all of those things.
Very well done on the shredding though! That’s a massive difference in heart rate. I hope you’re feeling much better for it too.

I have completed Level 1.75 this afternoon after having walked 4 miles this morning. My legs are sore today but I did more from the level 2 work out and only a bit of level 1 mixed in so I’m now calling it level 1.75.
So I can say I’ve done day 12! And today it did feel easier. Who knows how I’ll feel tomorrow…
Thanks for all the support you lovely lot. Being accountable on here is keeping me on the straight and narrow.

Right shoulder still not 100% and last night's wine did not help my energy level this morning 🙄
