Can we make a Les Mills on demand thread?

I'm just wondering if others are using Les Mills on demand and if we could maybe check in with each other to discuss what we are doing and what our goals are etc?

I am trying to loose 1 stone and doing 5:2 but i eat too much on my non-fasting days so I don't really loose any weight, so I'm adding exercise in the hope of shifting some weight Smile

So far I have done bodycombat 3 times this week for about half an hour each and some weights and flexibility training, but I think from next week I will be adding in bodypump

Is anyone else using this? I am really enjoying it so far Smile

Decathlon delivers (in the UK anyway), much to the detriment of my bank balance in lockdown, because of all the outdoor exercising I am doing Grin.

No. My tv doesn't let me add apps.
I've tried logging in from the website on the tv but it won't move passed putting my email address in.

Today I did Bodyattack 100 30 mins followed by the new Core (CXWorks). I have only ever done Core sporadically but I really like the band work and want to start chiselling away at my core as best I can so know I have to implement it. Quite enjoyed it so going to try and do it once a week.

I did BodyPump 108 this morning, I'm doing the three workouts a week mix it up challenge. I am shocked that despite the fact that I don't even do it right half the time such a minimal amount of exercise effort is actually having visible effects on my shape.

Did Bodypump 101 55 mins yesterday- haven't done it for ages and had forgotten how much I love it. It's so empowering and easy on the joints too!

If you can't find the app on your tv then get a fire stick...

I did BP 109 - I do enjoy Body Pump, but I don't think I could do it most days like you see some people doing on the Facebook groups. I like mixing it up, so I'm really looking forwards to my BC tomorrow.

I haven’t seen this challenge (but haven’t actively been looking) it sounds good! Is it just a category on the app? Sounds like consistent effort is paying off. I’m so hopeful to be able to feel comfortable in shorts for summer now lol.

I recommend the fire stick too. For the price it is brilliant and has everything on there.

@wishywashywoowoo70 if your tv doesn't have an app then can you screen share from your phone to the TV? I can on mine, but both are Samsungs so they probably speak the same language. Otherwise, get an external streaming thingummyjig, like an Amazon Firestick or a Roku.

I tried screensharing from my iPhone with no lock ( didn't have a clue).
Have given up and am doing some combat invincible workouts from you tube now

I've signed up for a years subscription too so I need to get this sorted really.

I have sky Q so didn't really want to get anything else but maybe I'll have to get a fire stick. That's sounds like the only way I can do it

@sociallydistained actually it's called Optimal Mix on the workout plans and challenges tab, screenshot attached. It's a real mix of everything, Body combat, Shbam, RPM, The Trip. Body Balance, BodyStep, with no equipment alternatives. I have some equipment so I usually just go with the order but I might skip Shbam if it comes up again because I am rubbish at it.

Sorry wishywashywoowoo70 I don't know which Firestick you need, I watch my LMOD on a tablet as the only space with a decent floor in my house is the hallway, so I just squint at my tablet.

@ScrapThatThen - I did Optimal Mix Prime - it was such a good way to try out most of the programmes. I think it's a shame it's hidden away under the 'older plans' now.

I'm too uncoordinated for Sh'Bam and I think it affects how good a workout I think I've had - if I feel unconfident I always think I've not pushed myself as hard as I'd like to so I've not had a good sweat on. I think the last time I tried it was when I was getting back into exercise after my ectopic surgery last April.

I did the 45min Pump Remix this morning - it's reminded me why I rarely do 112 - the Squat and Bicep/Tricep tracks are not my favourites. Kylie = tricep pushups Grin

I've just joined LMOD! Had a horrible reality check yesterday and I need to act now for my own health.

I've chosen the fast burner 6 week challenge and completed the first workout this morning- body attack 106- and I am dying! Really pushed myself and the integrity of the floor for a genuinely intense workout!

I signed up this week through my gym as it was cheaper and really just for body pump cause I missed it! I also use the Courtney Black app which I really like. I didn't realise there was so much on the LMOD app tbh 👍

I've been doing LMOD since Christmas and am loving it! Struggling to fit in much time with work and kids etc but am aiming for Combat or Attack 2-3 times a week and I'm feeling so much stronger already.

I used to do all the LM classes in the gym in my 20s and hadn't realised how much I miss all that energy and enthusiasm, am enjoying Lisa's vibes so much. It helps we have Roku so can get it up on the TV and turn up the volume, my main problem is low ceilings so I hit my head on the light fitting if I really go for the jumping!

Not ventured into any equipment yet but hopefully will have more time once schools reopen to get on with it. Am tempted by Barre as I've heard it's a good core workout?

I did pump 107 again today, and managed to keep hold of the weight for the whole of that lunge track. I couldn’t even do the lunge track at all a few months ago. I’ve upped my weights most weeks and actually feel so strong now, it’s crazy! I think I’m a bit addicted to pump and it makes me want to get into weight training heavy weights.
