Can we make a Les Mills on demand thread?

I'm just wondering if others are using Les Mills on demand and if we could maybe check in with each other to discuss what we are doing and what our goals are etc?

I am trying to loose 1 stone and doing 5:2 but i eat too much on my non-fasting days so I don't really loose any weight, so I'm adding exercise in the hope of shifting some weight Smile

So far I have done bodycombat 3 times this week for about half an hour each and some weights and flexibility training, but I think from next week I will be adding in bodypump

Is anyone else using this? I am really enjoying it so far Smile

They seem like great friends and are clearly better as friends! Must be hard for Dan’s new wife to see him jet off with his ex all the time 😬

...does anything else think they spend too much time on LMOD (def not a bad thing!) that they speculate about the presenters and see them as friends? 🙈 My friend and I always talk about them as if we know them 😂 I used to really struggle with Erin, she seemed too serious but I’m started to become fond of her... surprising as I mostly see her in Grit in which she tortures me.

I absolutely adore Marlon and KG and of course Rach and Dan! Also love Ben and Raegan lol.

Anyway, back to the actual workouts ... I did one of the BC Cardio Blasts this morning. Really enjoy them. Also did the second half of BP 110 as I did the first half yesterday along with the new Attack 30 mins.

... not sure if anyone else puts too much emphasis on their Fitbit steps but I like to get steps as part of my workout but obviously don’t get any from BP so I’ve been splitting BP in half and doing it with another cardio workout. I know that’s a bit silly but it’s been quite enjoyable too doing a mix.

As a matter of interest, what is your latest release of BP? Someone upthread has mentioned 115 but mine only goes up to 114 and my app is up to date. I've also got BP Remix up to number 5.
I think 115 is actually the lockdown release, can’t remember the name but the one where they’re all doing it from home!

I thought BP#115 is currently gyms only as they get exclusive access to releases for a while before they come onto LMOD.

I love Mark Nu'u Steele who has evidently done the Body Step program since 1994?!?!

I've had a bit of dodgy back so I haven't done much beyond walking and yoga lately, but now keen to get back to it. BC doesn't really suit me, all that twisting is not great for my back, so might stick with BP and Step for a bit, and I love Body Balance too.

I’m definitely in my routine of getting up at 5.15 to do Grit twice a week 😇 (I start at 5.45 after a strong coffee!)
Did Grit Power this time. So many bloody burpees!

DD woke up at 5am and wouldn't go back to sleep so I put her in bed with DH and went downstairs to do Bodystep. Feel great but Brew required now!!

I haven't tried Grit.. Is it worth it? I only do body combat and attack and body balance at the moment. Want to do body pump but need to invest in all the equipment.

@Pebbledashery you can do pump with hand weights and step is optional.

You can do pump with dumbbells/hand weights if you already have some. Though admittedly they can be as hard to find in stock to buy as a barbell set. The step is a nice to have with BP, it just adds a little bit in that you have to work to stop your elbows going below the line, rather than the floor doing it for you.

Grit - grit is definitely worth it if you're time pressed, but you know, pretty full on and knackering.

I definitely have to be in the right frame of mind for Grit - which usually means I don't do it! I'd do a 30 minute BA over Grit.

I did the 45 min new Attack release today. I think at the moment I'm going to need to keep the 55 minute vids for the weekends when I've not got the kid's school work to fit in as well as my own work. Those extra 10 minutes really make a difference Grin

I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees the presenters as friends. Erin took a while to grow on me too - she can come across quite serious I think. I think the releases where Ben does BA helped me get on with him a bit better - he can be really serious in Pump and Grit, but when he's with Lisa she softens him a bit. It sounds ridiculous, I know!

Haha yeah I find Ben more fun in Attack.
In BP 110 (the outside in three beautiful setting one) Diana is proper flirting with Marlon 😂 I also did the body balance in that setting and it to was Diana and her mum and you could totally tell the mother daughter relationship with small little digs at each other

... can you tell I haven’t seen a lot of real life people for a whole? 🙈🤦🏻‍♀️

Did BP 111 today - OMG i can’t believe I’ve never done it before. Definitely a new favourite! It’s definitely slightly easier than other releases I’ve done. Music is good.
I love that Dan and Rach clearly have a lot of respect for each other to be able to work together so closely after divorce. I really love Rach she seems so nice. I also love Kylie - shoulder goals !

@sociallydistained will try it then. Was reading the comments on the app and people said it wasn't challenging etc.. The presenters weren't sweaty either.. But I remembered.. They are fit... And I am... Not!

Can I join? I used to have LM online and stopped it but have just started again 2 stone heavier. Angry

I'm doing the burn programme to start me off. It's changed a fair bit since I last did it all! Was jumping around the kitchen like a loony leprechaun to attack.

My fav was body pump and I have all of the weights. Made me feel powerful!

I've been trying to do 5 x 30 min classes per week and have managed five weeks so far. At first was mostly doing a mixture of BP, CX and Barre but have now found a love for BC! Very surprised as I'm not a cardio type. It's so hard trying to pick which classes and still try rotate through all the ones I like.
Need to give attack more of a go. Haven't done Barre half as much recently. Feel like my body needs Balance.. It's never ending and that's without any grit/step/bike stuff Hmm
I'm very new to this enjoying exercise. I've always done it but now I'm liking it!
